This book sounds so good! I've never heard a bad review on it. Your copy is so pretty.
I think the only negatives I heard were it is the old school/ style classic writing so if you only read modern reading it can be challenging to get into. And it’s a slow pace but I love character driven books with lots of philosophy so I am in! Lol

This is a fascinating book with so much to discuss! I will definitely try to reread it at some point, as I can imagine there is always something different to consider and discuss! 😊📚

It was great reading this with you! That cover is gorgeous. I LOVE peacock feathers... wasn't there a part in the book where the men were referred to as "peacock men" or something like that, because of the fancy clothes? Or did I hear that somewhere else?
I don’t recall that but I’m sure that was the artist intent who made the cover! Fun group read.
