I grew up just outside of Daytona Beach and fished saltwater my whole life until I left for the Army in 2007.. I caught so many fish and very similar if not the same where you are. Sheeps, reds, black drum but I have never caught a large mouth bass and a red like in another video you posted with Mom I think it was. Great videos man. I watch them every time they are posted and like each one. There is not another youtuber like you. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming. If you ever get to east Tn come fish Douglas

Almost 20000 subs in a very short time. I personally think this is the best channel for fishing especially for our area. Your personality is perfect for doing these videos keep up the excellent work! I normally use Power Pro Super Slick V2 Braid or Yo Zuri Super Braid. I've recently switched all of my reels to the Power Pro
My state most of the state we can keep 25 trout. My area 15 12” minimum

What’s counted as a big trout for the ocean cause I caught a 23 incher today
When you are keeping trout do you bleed them?
Normally will rip gills out to let bleed in the salt/ice slush. Makes for really fresh and firm meat

When I was growing up on the east coast of FL what you call a speckled trout we called a weak fish and what you call a silver or sand trout we called a sea trout as always names get changed over time. I have had several comments over this comment to clarify I know the deference between the spotted trout and a weakfish I was only saying when I was young in the 1960's and 70's we called both species weakfish and the silver trout was called a sea trout where I lived in FL. I was also noting how people finally started calling the different trout species by there correct names I am 64 and have been fishing all my life in the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico I am a retired charter boat Captain I have caught more fish and fish species than most of you have ever seen believe me I know fishing.
Sea trout have always been called weak fish on the delmarva peninsula.
Weakfish are a different species of seatrout than spotted seatrout.
Both are present on the Atlantic coast. But weakfish are not present in the Gulf of Mexico.
There’s about 5 different species on the East coast and Gulf of Mexico.
Weakfish are endangered now.
Sand and silver trout are also a different species too.
I agree but speckled trout and sea trout or weakfish are both caught in the tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay.
@@billtravers8550, yes sir. Specks are in the gulf and the Atlantic.
weakfish do not have spotted fins, but spotted seatrout has spots on dorsal fin as well as body - easy to distinguish from weakfish.
