What I really enjoy and appreciate about your videos is that you give updates in one video. I know it’s time consuming and it takes a lot of organization. Thank you.
Yea do a tour of the tiny weird plants please! Started watching your channel after seeing your video on dioscorea elephantipes care; weird small plants are what brought me here initially
@@christinekobzeff I had one shipped to me and used your video as part of my research for care before it arrived. Mines currently going through dormancy on a shelf
Always so lovely to see you sweet girl...Big hugs....you need to set up a website for plants we can purchase from you too, when you are ready......or perhaps add a page to your modernbohemian...:-)
We both went for the same plants from Ecuagenera! If you ever get into leca, I've noticed these types really love it. Love your aesthetic, instant subscribe
Ugh! Those spider mites. 😩 Good luck on your battle with them. But your plant room is looking beautiful and fuller. 😃 Oh, you have pseudolithos, those are cool.
Hi Christine! Last year, I binge watched so many of your cooking and plant based diet videos. Totally inspirational and gave me fresh ideas on things to eat. Any food/cooking videos in the upcoming future? I would love some new ideas again. Thanks!
I received a ponytail plant for Mother's Day a year ago and it is really doing well! It must like where it is, indirect bright light, because it is getting huge. I only water it when the soil is dry, because I read that it doesn't like too much water. A video with your input would be greatly appreciated. Love your plant videos!
I think your beautiful plant room is an extension of all the lush green Hawaiian landscape you & Michael left behind. Maybe an indoor water fountain would help with the humidity & add the Zen-like sound of water trickling. Voila! A Hawaiian yoga room that's great for meditation. You know, you two could move down here to Florida. So much to do here, sandy beaches, low taxes, low cost of living, etc.
Thank you! An indoor water fountain, yes I love that! How did you know?! We made a small simple one as part of the plant room updates, it'll be in that upcoming video. We've never been to Florida but I've heard it's gorgeous, I'd love to check it out sometime! 🙌🏝☀️
@@christinekobzeff Can't wait to see the updates video! BTW, it would take more than 2 lifetimes to see & explore everything. Come stay for a month or two. There is so much more here than the commercial attractions. As much as you & Michael love the outdoors, you won't regret it - I promise.🌴😎
If there are going to be plant videos, I would prefer them few and far inbetween, under five minutes in length, with a specific purpose, ex: How to _____. I much prefer the more adventurous, exploration type videos, beauty, FAQs, and storytimes.
Love the video. You are always so informative. I'm just getting into wanting some of the more unusual plants and learning there care. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to next video.
Thanks so much for doing this video thats the same window set ups I have for my plant room i got lots if great tips 😊 love your channel and your room is just so gorgeous 😁💚 Happy Planting !!
Everything looks great! I had issue with spider mites in one of the tropical plants that was really dry. I sprayed with alcohol and then water and they seem to be gone… for now I am sure 😊.
I live in sSierra Vista Arizona and would love to visit your set up in person. I have a visit to the VA coming up soon and would love to drop by. Your plant 🌱 room is awesome and you have so many plants I’ve never seen in person. I know this may seem weird, but I am just a true fan and plant lover. Love your channel.
I'm amazed you haven't got into rare orchid Christine....love your collection and knowledge. Would you mind at some time doing a updated vegan make up collection, as I really want to move over to and appreciate your input
Love all your plants! I love to propagate plants too but I’m not as good as you. You know so much! Do you have any advice on how to propagate a jade plant? I have one that’s getting too big and I’m not sure how to treat it. Love your videos ❤️
Do you still have the monstera siltepecana? I bought one from Steve's Leaves after seeing your video unpacking your siltepecana. I'm just curious how well that plant is doing.
Thanks Sylvia! Sure, I've use Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew (from Lowes or Home Depot). Also homemade insecticidal soap works too, made with a few drops of liquid peppermint Castile soap, a splash of alcohol and hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle with water. Shake before each use. Some recipes include a few drops of neem oil or peppermint essential oil. The spray smothers them but you have to do multiple treatments until they're gone. I can make a video on the treatment. I've also heard AzaMax works well too but I haven't tried it yet.
@@christinekobzeff thank you so much! A video on that would be wonderful, also did you have to adjust the lighting with these treatments? I have heard that neem oils will burn the leaves if the lighting isn;t adjusted. I so love the plant videos, you got me hooked on Alocasias and I'm trying to be proactive in the pest department before I see any.
Do you happen to know if philodendron sodiroi is a crawler or a climber? And my rhaphidophora decursiva put out the longest runner and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with it! I call that plant the whackadoodle plant.
Hello😊 they intimidate me. I truely have interest yet tell me how to over come.my collection is large mostly hoyas.new dubbie.please do propogation on pepperomia and the wstetmelion one/ Chinese tree.take care😊 our look for your suggestion on the philidendron mami and other's😊✌🌹🌹
Spider mites are the worst, they're really tiny, almost like dust particles and they make very fine webs. You can see them best with a magnifying glass. They multiply fast and thrive in dry conditions in our homes. So you have to check houseplants and clean the leaves regularly. Luckily they're vegetarians, so they don't come after us, only our plants. 😁🪴
Hi Alicia! For the tiny plants I use Turface (it's a high-fired calcined clay) or small 1/4" rocks. No top dressing for the tropicals, just the Aroid soil mix.
I used to enjoy your channel, it’s all about planting now. Plants are not my thing I use to like your room make overs and what you eat. I am going to have to unfollow sorry

Right on, that's awesome, did you ever get a Dioscorea elephantipes? Mine is currently vining under a grow light here in the plant room.

Haha, I'm happy to vlog around the house more too. 😁👌
Let's have a house and garden tour, l miss the other videos you used to do before you moved.xx
I like your out and about videos with Michael. Please show us around Arizona. Go to ghost towns, Grand Canyon, Jerome, Sedona, movie sets and parks.

With the 🌵 being in the same room with the humidifier do you water them doing the Summer months?
