So stuff he didnt touch on are all of the following: 1. Dont trip about becoming Pro if you are under 18, CWL is only for 18 and over 2. (A follow up from my above thing) Focus more on getting your name out there. 3. In order to get know play $8s, Wagers, and Tourneys and if you arent winning those find the problems why, maybe your team isnt that good or you arent good. Then i would grind Xps on UMG/Gbs. 4. If you are under 18 and you enjoy SND maybe try to become a SND Star and just grind Tourneys and Wagers. 5. Have fun doing it and remember during every loss its just a game and you always have time to get better unless you are 20+ then all these steps dont apply and move on ish
You smaht, you very smaht, you loyal... I appreciate you. Serious though, really enjoying your channel. Thanks for the tips and keep up the good work buddy
Apathy thank you, im really demoralized and you bringed that motivation i needed, i want to become a pro like you, and thanks to you i now know i need to go hard and stay positive thank you
You’re really encouraging, dude. Thank you for making these vids for us Ams. I’m here for the love of the game and the pursuit of a dream. It’s really hard to keep the faith because I’m a dad and husband (best friend) and I want to maintain that. But to someday compete full-time...that would be amazing and worth the grind.
Been playing competitive since cod 4, and WaW. Took a break from cod when Ghost and AW were released but BO3 I'm doing really well. I grind GB's, UMG's, and always finding 8's lobby's. Hope one day I can make the cut, not giving up.
I love you bro, these were some very important words that most pros wouldn't say because they know it'll mean more competition. I've been working on social media while I wait. Keep your grind bro you're gonna explode on UA-cam soon!
Apathy must say I'm big fan. I quit cod after black ops 2 came back to this game and found out by you and now you are my favorite to watch. And your from Florida! Awesome. I'll be attending MLG Atlanta and can't wait to see you kick ass bro! Keep grinding homie
exposure IS the biggest thing. then attitude second. I've been playing since Halo, halo 2, cod MW, black ops, cod mw2 all the way into these recent titles. I can seriously out play a lot of pros. I see some of their plays and it just befuddles me, but at the same time, they can out game me. ya dig? I'm good at THE game in the console or PC, they're good at the game in the console or PC, but they're mainly good at playing that game in their heads. it's a hand in hand thing, and if I had the exposure to give me a successful mindset I'd probably be up there, but I don't and therefore I'm where I belong. but I digress. don't let your dreams be dreams.
I feel this way exactly, I've said this before I'm from Northern Ireland which means it's so so hard to be recognised. I know myself I can do it I know I'm a great player but struggle to get recognised. Really need a team I don't want anything more in life than to be a pro!:(
The biggest mistake amateurs make is not realizing how much time and effort it takes to go pro. It's not just fun and games, you have to compete at a high level for life
Being between the ages of 14-16 you have the biggest advantage.. when you start getting to the age gap of 17 to let's say 20, other responsibilities start to take over.. work, education.. etc..
Been playing for almost a year now, took one month off when FIFA released but I'm back on the grind. I'm 16 now and I've been playing competitive for 1 year. I began playing cod in the MW2 days!
+Deus Test 2 years of valuable practice tho. As apathy said it's going to become easier if we grind really hard over this next 2 years and wait for the next call of duty. Yea you might not be a pro in 2 years but you will be in a more superior position
+Deus Test I just wish I started grinding when I was 13 or 14. Damn I would be good right now😂 3 years is even better than 2 by the way. You have more time, I mean I started when I was 15 but your playing bo3 instead of AW.
Thax Apathy u have made my love for Cod to come back I will become Pro and hope to one day to meet you "Never Give Up" I'll stick with you, You are My Fam !!!!
Bro, I have a question. I've been wanting to go pro and I've been doing pretty good. Been grinding for a while on pubs. How do I start off ? What do I do in order to start myself off to becoming a pro?
Problem is now, most amateurs are under the age of 18. Without being 18, it's hard to become known as the age rating for all LAN events. Good points though.
GREAT VIDEO AP, I NEED TO SHARE THIS WITH MY FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING ABOUT GIVING UP. SPARK SOME FIRE IN THEM. IM 18 THEY ARE YOUNGER THAN ME, I KNOW WE HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF WE PUT THE TIME WE USED TO.
The 3 fuel/motivaters u were talking about is the 3 fuels I have xD all 3 bruuh problem is I'm from Denmark, I'll have to meet British players, that share the same dream and dedication
@apathyBZ love this video man ive been watching for a while but never subbed until i made a youtube channel i watch your tips every day, faze vlogs an optic are cool to watch but i prefer channels like yours and people like hollowpoiint really grinding but really enjoy your tips and they help alot i watch your vids right before i play everyday and it works lol js thanks for makin these videos man
I have this big dream to become a pro and i was grinding 24/7 till the end of AW but then Black ops3 came out and they dropped the bomb.....Comp only on PS4 thats when my dream died.. i cant afford a ps4+scuf+headset. just wanted to share my story :/. btw Apathy you are a great player and i cant wait to see you at the next event
Where would i start? I'm really really not trying to be cocky but i'm sure there are other people like me where we cannot record gameplays and such but i know i can be pro, what would be the first move? I played competitive on black ops 2 and i was able to reach rank 33 i just need help on where to start
What's up apathy and I'm 16 and about to be 17 in April and my team and I want to go pro really bad we started in bo2 and I feel from then we haven't gotten anywhere we keep losing umg's and then in AW we did a little better but then bo3 came out we fell off and these guys are my best friends I just don't know if I should leave them and find someone better idk I need advice and also I can't afford a ps4 to play competitive where it's really at I just feel like I'm stuck and I don't know what to do and I'd appreciate it if I can get a reply for advice or something. Thank you
literally what happened to me. my brain was destroyed and filled with discouragment and dissapoitment from making no progress and getting my ass raped in online tournies. i had no drive anymore. but you know what? imma get my shit together because i watched this video and i understand. thanks Apathy!
I'm Eu and me and 2 of my team mates are amatures and the 4th is turning 17 in 2 months we beat lots of teams we probly shouldn't and we are really good for our age. The biggest problem we have is that we can't play tournaments because they all start at 6:00pm or afterwards so we can't play them because if we get far we have to go offline so this stops my team and team mates progressing so this annoys me. Plssssssss tell me what I should do.
Yesterday I entered a 1v1 SND 1ND GB tourney. Cost me 15 creds. I thought I wasnt gonna get anywhere because it was my 2nd GB tourney. But I kept composed, ended up beating MLG RANK 171 in round 1! And then hitting a 5-2 down comeback in round 2 to win 6-5! And then went all through to the finals and lost in the finals to MLG RANK 12th. I was soo happy with my result though and who i beat! AAAHHH MOTIVATION BABY! Good vid Apathy!
hey bryan, thanks for making this video, i would like to talk to you about my ''situation'' righ now, my name is max (Campo) and im a french canadian who live in Quebec/Montréal. I started playing competitive cod back in bops 2 where i placed top 17-24th all year long, most of the comunity noticed us when the ''Xz8 Vs SoaR'' match happened, we almsot beat them (Went OT last map) on stage at UMG Dallas. well enought with the intro lol. i would need your help! the point is due to the fact that i am living in quebec,so i cant do tourneys/wagers and we cant have any good practice since no-one can see us, i know im a good palyer i went to regionals last year under Levitate gaming and played decent, i ahve alot of lan experience, Rambo is one of my good buddy and he taught me alot of things so i think im in a ''Good spot'' right now . what would you do if you were in my position like ive been ONLY placing top 17-24th in the last 3 games, i dont want to lose faith so i would like to talk to you or having your opinion on what should i do if i want to break my ''Curse'' thanks Ap i love your vids and keep up with the good work, have a good day !
nice vid bro you really motivated me...all people say im a really good player and i play on TV with bad con...if i had a good pc monitor and a 100.000k con i think im on a good way...but the bad thing about it is that im german and in germany is the pro player scene not that big and oh im 15 so i cant go on lan tournaments....much love from germany fam ;D #nohomo
This dude said "Scump was an am for years, or a month." LOL
💀💀💀
FrvmeworK wasnt he?
BIG CHEESE he was, but he also was a 15 year old ... Now u need to be 18. Not the same
Thinking that all pro players started off as amateurs. Such an eye-opener, I had no idea...
What do you mean? Obviously they weren't born pros lol.
Being sarcastic
dalb0013 Lmao my bad fam.

Amazing video man, it sends a really good message to the community an if more people pick up this attitude CoD will be able to grow even more
This is why I love apathy! He really does help! Thank you!
your camera is sick! you should start doing vlogs man! keep the UA-cam grind going
Thank you apathy, really needed this vid. Much love and stay on the grind homie, it'll all pay off soon!
So what's the best to get exposure? Have teams look at you? Be able to get orgs to notice you, and take you to lans and blah?
Really needed this. I know is video is older but I'm adding this to my favorites list.
These are the kind of videos that make people carry on going and grinding
Scump was an Am for: "A year... a month...or something"....creasing hahaha
These videos really help. Thanks Apathy

Holy shit, re-inspired to grind. Love Bryan so much, he deserves so much more
thx for the tips apathy. I was so close to quitting cause I literally went through 13 roster changes in the past 2 weeks.
PriimiTo oh yes that's the worst bruh. Literally have teammates quit on me in the middle of the grind and never comes back on.
I love this. Can u make a tip and tricks series for AMs?
Apathy must say I'm big fan. I quit cod after black ops 2 came back to this game and found out by you and now you are my favorite to watch. And your from Florida! Awesome. I'll be attending MLG Atlanta and can't wait to see you kick ass bro! Keep grinding homie

Thanks for the words of wisdom bro I really do appreciate it. Keep it up bro soon your UA-cam is gonna explode
This vid can be used as motivation for anything you do in your life! Keep it up apathy!!!
I feel this way exactly, I've said this before I'm from Northern Ireland which means it's so so hard to be recognised. I know myself I can do it I know I'm a great player but struggle to get recognised. Really need a team I don't want anything more in life than to be a pro!:(

I played Comp COD since Bo2, but found myself having to take a break since my school work and my job got a bit too burdensome. Good video though man
Being between the ages of 14-16 you have the biggest advantage.. when you start getting to the age gap of 17 to let's say 20, other responsibilities start to take over.. work, education.. etc..
