You may break a clip from pulling off the lower trim cover (par for the course). Here is the part number to replace your clips:

Hello
First of all, I wanted to tell you that your UA-cam channel is really cool! I am also a proud owner of a 2013 audi r8 v10 plus.
I wanted to ask you if you knew how to do and especially how (leave the engine compartment light) while I'm driving (when my low beam lights are on).
thanks
Howdy! I’m trying to upgrade my info system and now need to remove my rear shelf cover like you did here, to connect backup camera feed. How did you take the shelf cover off? I’m having trouble pulling off two anchors in the middle
@@bwang0202 there’s a trim cover over the cup holders. You need to pry it off to expose two screws.
@@ftwgarage thanks for the fast reply! I only need to remove the back shelf though, do I need to remove the cup holder’s trim first?
@@bwang0202 yes
not the best method, if you have footlight illumination while driving, the door sills light up all the time. Better to go directly to the door control unit T32e Pin 1(+) & T32e Pin 2(-). At 5/2009 and Later you can wire it directly to the central electronics T52B Pin 50 (+)
Never knew that was an option to have the foot well lit up while driving. In that case yes you need to wire it up differently if you have foot well lit up while driving.
