Rebuilding a Broken Lamborghini Gallardo Transmission - Can I Save It? - Part 1

- Excited to share my journey learning how to rebuild the Graziano L140 Transmission that's used in the Lamborghini Gallardo and Generation 1 Audi R8.
This transmission was reported to not shift from the shop when run at operating temperature, and was gathering dust at a junkyard. Can we diagnose what went wrong and save it?

Man, this is some grade A content, can't believe it hasn't gotten more traction. That said, I greatly enjoy it - many thanks! 🙏
Great video, sleeper channel, you're doing great hidden work that is much appreciated! I have a 2014 r8 v8 manual, I belive my catalytic converter is shot so I gotta tackle that soon, and the whole engine and trans have to come out, and your other videos have been great guide on how to remove.
Epic job you're going to do! Amazing! Make sure to add a heatshield on top of the mechanical actuator when you're done w/ that job!
@@ftwgarage Yes for sure, gotta refresh my memory on your tip videos and make sure I address everything.
You are incredible - all of this is your hobby?
It's starting to become something more than a hobby. I would love to figure out a way to help other owners repair their transmissions. I've come to love working on transmissions.
niceeeeee mark

in my experience, using a plastering or spackling knife is less likely to mar the surfaces when you split the case.
Ahh good tip, going to try that next time!
What is going on with the camera? Every time it moves it blurs so bad, hard to watch.
The camera was mounted on a tripod when I recorded every thing. Which part was it blurry for you? Can you check if you're watching at a higher quality version?
