I am still rocking my 2018 iPad Pro. Great design, awesome device. This shows how advanced that update was when they announced it back then. I am ready to switch to new version now for OLED and a horizontal webcam layout for better videoconferencing.

I'm still rocking the 2018 iPad Pro as my secondary machine. I have a desktop that does my heavy lifting with editing, but most other task are more than handled by the iPad. I actually prefer it. Someting about holding my work in my hand that's just so satisfying.

I got a MacBook Pro M3 pro 16" and love it. it's all I need for my work and also for everything else. the only downside is how heavy this is and the size makes it complicated for simple task like lap use or laying on bed or couch with this massive Computer, with that said I got 1500$ budget to get some sort of iPad or MacBook Air ( which I was considering getting M3 air ) to used for casual stuff when I want to chill. should I do that or just wait for this new iPad Pro? I used to own a iPad Pro 12.9 which was amazing but the battery was wack and I hated how fast it drain.
Amazon has great deals on the renewed iPad Pro. I bought one and it’s flawless like brand new and I came in just under $900 with plenty of storage and it’s great in bed at night for casual use. So you won’t have to spend your whole $1500, i bought a $39 case for it and it’s great. I thought about the MacBook Pro too but since you reminded me of how heavy it is I’m not sure it’s a good idea for me. Anyways good luck.
Same, I got the 12.9” M1 iPad Pro, and don’t see me upgrading. If it was a jump to a 14” I would. But not for 0.1” increase.

Yes the 2nd gen is coming soon. But nothing wrong with buying first gen, $479.00 on Amazon right now and the renewed ones are $411.00. You could always sell them if you wanted the new ones when they go on sale. Electronic stores will buy them.
After recently purchasing Airpod Pros, My iPhone-11 Pro, my 2018 iPad, my #5 Apple watch, & my 15-inch 2019 Mac Book Pro are showing their age after visiting the Apple Store. So, 2025 will become my upgrade year. Who's with me?

I want to upgrade my iPad but it’s really not necessary for me. I have a 2020 iPad Pro and it works just fine other than the battery not lasting very long.

The major reason for final not using Final Cut Pro on iPad Pro for me is that it’s subscription based. Since I have it on the Mac it’s useless for me to do it on the iPad

I have the iPad Pro 12.9” second generation one (before that, I had the iPad 2 - so I def keep them for years). My Logitech keyboard is dying and hard to replace cos the iPad is so old, so I’ll probably get the new one - but after watching your video and reading other stuff, I’ll hold out a few weeks in hopes of an OLED screen. Note, my husband didn’t think I’d use an iPad when I first bought one. He now agrees that he was completely wrong….I use it so much (but don’t use my laptop barely at all).

I just want to add, that I am presently planning on buying a new iPad Pro, now I will debate which version to buy, after Apple announces the iPads this year.. for it will depend on what features, Apple announces for either iPad Pro, but I would like to buy the big iPad Pro, but it will depend on what features are announced for either version… but I am coming from the small 9.7 original iPad Pro, so I definitely need an upgrade for my iPad… when considering my iPad has the old pre-M series chips, it has an a9x I believe…

Hey Brian, can we talk about the Apple TV 4 K First Gen? After the latest TVOS update 17.4 the HDMI CEC stopped working, this is a software glitch (we hope), it doesn't matter if you connect the box to another tv, still it does not work. Can you help us out, and highlight this problem to us next video, apple refusal to listen to us is appalling. You can go to the apple community discussion and look it up... HDMI CEC not working on Apple TV 4K First Gen. Cheers in advance... this is affecting a lot of people world wide.

oled in computers/tablets is easily damaged tru screen burns, static image retention. Just look at Samsung oled tablets...the whites are now orangey due to degradation
My Samsung galaxy tab s8 ultra and s9 ultra is still perfectly fine no burn in. You have to own one to know.

My 2018 iPadPro11 is enough unless the next iPad gets exclusive MacOS bootcamp. I'm just a heavy media consuption user so the yearly spec bump doesn't really mean anything to me, but I do love Apple products, you know, and I have the courage to spend all of money on them!! HI Brian, Love your content. After I heard US Gov is going to sue Apple I am, as a lawyer and Apple user since 95. I had the same views as you, where you made a video to explain loopholes in this case ( from the little that we know about the case details). I in fact forwarded your UA-cam video for my friends to watch.
As an Apple user I would like to see Apple open up its systems to work better with third party systems and to reduce costs to me as a consumer. So, I do not have a problem with the EU and US pushing Apple in that direction. Competition is a good thing in the tech field and when these companies become too large and powerful the consumer loses out.
So when is the apple ring suppose to come out😂. I’m debating on getting an oura ring but if it’s soon I’ll wait for apple

i think - unless Apple does come up with something astonishingly brilliant for the next generation of ipad pro - that I'm going to stick with the M1. If they're not going to allow folks to use the desktop OS on the ipad, i don't feel like there's enough incentive to upgrade.
