    I think covering multiple balls might work out okay, I wouldn't suggest doing more than two, but I feel like as a community, you saved us time. It was also nice watching the resl time differences on the chipping and putting, so... GRATZY!

    I like the side by side review. I think it helps contrast the differences between standard and x models. I don’t think enough people talk about forgiveness in golf balls. My son plays on the middle school golf team, and the first thing his coach told parents was not to buy them golf balls until he could evaluate their swings. Most kids wanted Pro v1s, but ended up with Bridgestone RXS or QStar Tours. Great that you reinforce that we’re not robots. Keep preaching the truth!

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  16 днів тому +1

      Thank you very much for this testimony. That's a heck of a golf coach right there. Everyone's different and everyone needs different types of golf balls. Forgiveness is by far the most important factor for me and it's also the last talked about

    Yes!!! Another review. Doing 2 balls in 1 video? It might be good. See what works for you

    Thank you GBA!! Since starting to watch the channel this year I’ve switched from “hitting anything round” I find to dialing in on a few from your reviews with significant improvement in my game. Thanks again. I do like the comparison format as I think it provides the opportunity for you to comment on just how different/similar some of the versions are. I appreciate your efforts!

      Anytime. I'm really glad you're starting to narrow down certain golf balls in your golf ball finding journey. It makes a huge difference over time if you can get consistent and have a consistent ball. God bless my friend

    Thanks for the review! Ive been looking forward to this review. I bought 4 boxes of the previous generation of the V Power for $25 per box and I liked the traditional feel. I think I'll wait till they go on sale again.
    The comparison format works great and 25-30 minutes long is perfect.

      Thank you very much for taking the time to share that with me. I noticed their old models were on sale and that's a pretty good value if you still really like them

    When I first heard you've alkaline about forgiveness A LONG TIME AGO, I wasn't sold until I started paying attention. Forgiveness in a golfball is real. It's the difference between the lake, and being short 10 yards but dry on a mishit. Triad coukd have been the perfect, but its forgiveness made that a 1 sleve test. Just another tidbit I learned on this channel.

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  18 днів тому +1

      Completely understandable. It's hard to believe something when almost no major publication talks about it. I'm basically the guy in the tin foil hat on the streets talking about an alien invasion at this point. I really appreciate you all who took the time to test out my theories and now are true believers. I think it helps a lot of people going forward

    I like the 2 ball review. Really gives us a chance to compare balls that are very similar but have enough difference to drastically change results.
    Someone once gave me a whole box of Pro V1s and I was so excited to play with them when I was going away overseas. You constantly hear so much about how great they are and I always wanted to witness that myself. I tend to play more budget friendly balls like Cut and Spalding so I expected the Pro V1 to blow me away. And let’s just say it did, but not in a good way. I could not hit them to save my life. I was putting so much side spin on them that I spent more time in the woods than on the fairway. The distance was also not as good as I was used to with the budget balls. After around 11 holes I became to frustrated thinking I was having a bad day and was wasting all these great balls so I decided to finish the round with some Cut balls. I immediately started hitting everything straighter, farther, and more consistently. Turns out, I’m just not good enough for the Pro V1s and that was the best reality check I could experience. I’m glad this video kind of proved that point and thanks to you, I now see where I really stand and I know not to count those “inferior” 2 piece balls or budget balls out.

      @GolfBallAddict  16 днів тому +2

      Great testimony there. I really appreciate you sharing it. The same thing happened to me with multiple different golf balls. Especially the tp5. The older ones were firm as can be and I miss hits you would lose 30 to 40 yards easily.

    Great idea to compare both balls together. On every box of golf balls we are told what the ball will do for you. Low spin, high spin, soft ball,softer ball, extreme distance. We all know that is incorrect. You explained the reason why the 5 hybrid figures were so different. A robot wouldn't do that. Your explanations and how you sum things up is why I watch every episode and still go back to older reviews. I now know that I am not going to go out of my way to search for a Trust stockist in Thailand. You help narrow my search parameters down.

    I like the dual review. Keep up the great reviews. I like to see golf ball companies jumping into the market to make a charge at the Usual Big Companies in golf. It's the American way ! Keep up the great work !

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  16 днів тому +2

      That's my favorite thing about capitalism. I love the competition. These other big-name brands want to charge $60. So other brands come in and charge 30. Come to find out, sometimes the $30 ones work out better. 😁

    • @BrettPittman-e1q
      @BrettPittman-e1q 16 днів тому

      @GolfBallAddict Most definitely the 30 dollar dozen do help the average everyday golfer. I would tell anyone I know taking up the game to start at 2 piece golf balls. The biggest crowd you want to start out with is the beginning and weekend golfers then advance from there.

    Do whatever works best for the channel. Doing a couple of tour balls together work for you, I see no problem with it.
    I'm never even heard of these golf balls. I've learned something new today. Since I only have so many working brain cells, that means I forgotten something else. So long as it's not golf related I don't mind.

    Like the review of both balls together. I bought a dozen of the Power V's a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to play 'em. Really nice packaging too. So many great golf balls in the mid-priced $30 dollar range you're turned us on to I don't see the need to spend more. Thanks for the review and great video!

    The double review works mate. They still get the same in-depth review and if it makes less work for you then that’s a plus.
    In a previous review you said this golf ball was like hitting a rock, I know what you mean now as the range I went to the other day gave the same feedback. Let’s just say I won’t be using that range again

    Really like the 2 balls in one, really helps show why only certain players should really play the X model balls that the tour pros usually use. I have the weird combination where I only started golfing 5 months ago but my driver speed is 112-115mph. But I am no where need good enough to hit the center perfectly every time so I can not play one of those X balls even though my swing speed is there. I do prefer the firmer feel around the greens and putting though.

    Liked the head to head in this instance and it shows the two extremes that can occur from the same line.
    And those other reviews always state you can “potentially” lose distance by not playing firmer pro ball but never state you will be more consistent.

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  18 днів тому +1

      It's just a very vague statement. I wish they would go into a little more detail. But hey I guess that's what my channel is for 😂

  • @TrumpetJazzman
    @TrumpetJazzman 17 днів тому +1

    I think doing some balls by a single brand that cluster around the same price point and/or compression could work well.
    For example, Srixon Q-Star and Q Star Tour, or all their Z-Series at once. Vice Tour and Drive.
    Golf ball performance is all about comparison, so anytime you can get two data sets side by side I find it helpful.
    I’d also be interested in seeing even some head to heads of balls you’ve already reviewed individually. For example, something like Vice Pro Air vs. similar balls like the Tour Response or Q-Star Tour.
    Keep the great content coming! :)

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  17 днів тому +1

      Yeah I think so too. It's easy to do a golf ball and then later do an X model and you completely forgot how the original did. Even myself who is doing the review sometimes forgets that

    1. a dual review is mch more suiting and convenient. doesn't need to be over 20mins every time, but i think u can adjust.
    2. 2 balls are better than 1
    3. be careful with the color trust balls, the paint comes of super easy and can mess up the shot

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  18 днів тому +2

      I'm going to try to get the time down a little. Over 30 minutes is a little bit extreme. Although there was plenty to talk about with these golf balls. Sometimes it just ends up being more of a podcast format it feels like but it doesn't seem to bother people

  • @DavidS-fx6gr

    Reviewing two golf balls at once (if they are closely related) makes perfect sense, and would probably be a more efficient use of your time.

      @GolfBallAddict  13 днів тому +1

      I think it also take some pressure off me. Right now I've been trying so hard to get three to four videos out a week. Doing two golf balls at once means I don't have to do them every two days. Ive liked that part about it

    My driver speed is 105 2 110 and my 7 iron speed is 85ish. My primary golf ball is Vice Pro or Vice Pro Plus I really like them they perform excellent. Midsummer though I got some gift cards from work and figured I'd treat myself to some high-grade golf balls so I bought the tp5x love the feel of the color love everything about them,,,, in the Summer when I practice a lot. Right now when I'm not able to practice and my hit spread on my irons has increased i am seeing a 20 to 25 yard penalty on not perfect strikes with the tp5x, where as with my Vice Pro from not perfect strikes I'm still on the green or atleast putting range. So yeah forgiving balls are a thing for me it's Vice Pro. No I'm not being paid 😂😂 anyway yeah thanks for the great content I love your golf ball reviews keep it up #Vicegolf

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  13 днів тому +1

      That's always been my beef with the tp5. I love how it's looks, I love the designs they do. It feels premium, it spends a ton. But goodness gracious don't miss hit it

      So I did a little research and it turns out there could be a few issues. The big one is with apple products. Apparently because Apple takes a 30% cut on any transaction including memberships. UA-cam has just stopped showing the button to iOS users all together. Don't know if that applies to you but it is a common issue
