    I’m going to leave a real raw comment here, and I promise it’s nice. I am a true crime junkie and watch every single true crime UA-camr at least once. I usually end up not liking them because they cover the same stories that everyone else has covered over and over and over again. The big main ones. I really enjoy your channel because I’m hearing stories I haven’t heard 12 other times on other channels. Thank you for that. It’s very refreshing

    The fact she’s out of prison now, living her life and also found someone to marry disturbs me, I feel so sorry for Lee and his family! She took him away from them but gets to walk free?! That’s a kick in the teeth to everyone who has been affected. The justice system really doesn’t give no or much justice at times. I hope Lee is driving buses up there🙏🏾🚌

      Is it just me, or does this seem to happen time and time again in the "enlightened" countries/states? In the US, states like Texas and Florida are criticized for the harshness of their sentences. I personally think that places like that take the victim into account when sentencing criminals more than other places do. I mean, really, 14 years for murder? Lee Harvey's sentence was the death penalty.

      Also, people who are victims of abuse typically blame themselves so that may be another reason why he didn’t leave her.

      I know this video is old but this is the first video I have watched of hers. I was actually extremely surprised that she didn't mention abuse and kept saying "idk why he stayed" or "idk why he kept going back" From the way she described this relationship, Tracie was very clearly abusing him, and it may have been really hard for him to leave. It's not always clear cut with abuse. It's possible that Lee was conditioned to believe that Tracie was just his "crazy girlfriend" instead of that she was abusive. Sometimes learning you are being abused holds more weight, and it can help you understand why you need to leave or why it is hard to leave.

      I don't think HE was toxic in this relationship. But I think his only problem was the choices he made to stay around her. I mean I don't know a sane person who would continue a relationship, marry, and even impregnate a partner who nearly bites their neck off, for appearing in a place they barred them from coming to. He should have cut it off with her from the start. Of course she could have probably killed him anyway for leaving her. If she had it in her to do what she did to him in the first place. Sometimes relationships are one sided. Weather positive or negative.

      @@anthonym840 It's the same reason for why women stay in abusive relationships. It's because of the control and the fact that oftentimes their partners drill it into their heads that they deserve being abused. People marry their abusive partners all the time... And it's because of a number of factors that cause this. We might think it's silly and that their brain isn't working- but abuse does a lot to its victims. Especially with the belief that if they make their partner happy... Getting married or having a baby, that the abuse would stop.

      @@TiffWaffles sure that's a reason. But this is another reason why therapy is a blessing. It isn't healthy for one to pick these type of people to spend the rest of their lives with in marriage. They do pick unhealthy situations and choose to stay in them. And I think that the highlight of this needs to be how we deal with that situation. I've been in an abusive relationship before. Mental abuse. It's not fun. But I had to metal myself enough to get out of it. She tried to have a hold over me by getting to my family as well. However i had help. I had people who were willing to help me get out of it. My thing is this though. Even while i was going through everything i went through i didn't think marrying her. Or impregnating her would make it better. But i had a good upbringing. i really dont know why i like your videos so much, i came across them by accident. the makeup transformation is pure wizardry and interesting to see develop over the course of the video but i think its because you get emotively involved in your case. feels like an actual human being is covering it. I remember this case, it was so shocking at the time because “road rage” was a new thing that seem to be escalating around that time period so it seemed plausible that this could happen. More and more cases of it were being reported. It was such a shock to find out that she had done it to him and I remember it being all over the news, radio and in the papers.

      @@MorganScorpion yeh it was massive back in the 90s as road rage was a new thing. Probably because our roads were beginning to get too congested.

    • @Pennydeadful
      @Pennydeadful 2 роки тому +1

      @@MorganScorpion I even remember seeing a road rage incident while on the road. Someone in a van had cut some other bloke up in a car and as they pulled up to the lights, they went red. Car bloke got out his car on a very busy, major road and went round to the passenger side of the van. Swearing and shaking his fists at the driver, if he would have been able to get hold of him, I don’t know what would have happened. He returned back to his car when the lights changed but it was scary to see someone get that made over being cut up on the road. Don’t get me wrong, if I’m driving and someone does something stupid that affects me, then I’ll probably swear in a bit in my car, like “bloody idiot, watch what you’re doing” but I’ve never let myself get that mad over something so insignificant in the greater scheme of things. Dreadful situations.
