Hi my name is Danielle, welcome to my True Crime and Makeup series! I’ve been interested in true crime for the longest time now, what started with me watching true crime on TV with my Nan from a young age eventually turned into studying for a degree in Law & Criminology.
When I first watched Bailey Sarian’s series I was completely hooked, I loved how she had combined two of the things I’m most passionate about and delivered it so well. She totally inspired me to take the leap and do the same thing on my channel, so all credit for the idea goes 100% to her.
I’m from the UK and will be covering cases from both the UK and internationally, let me know if there are any cases that you’d like to see from me! More cases will be coming soon so please subscribe if you enjoyed this video!

Just jumping in to say that here in the US (MD anyway), if you get in enough alcohol related trouble, they'll require you to get an alcohol restriction put onto your license/ID for a set amount of time. @@l..l_ ok I should have said natural non man made. But I seriously refute the statement u said about Cbd. It is most certainly no scam, there’s different strengths for a reason genius just coz something that was probably too low dose to get any benefit didn’t work for u 100% does not mean Cbd is a scam. I personally take both melatonin and Cbd, Cbd for pain which works for me, as a disabled person I’ve been on oxycodone for years and fentanyl, Cbd controlled my withdrawals and my pain levels and with melatonin spray I’m sleeping a lot longer than I did beforehand. If you’re trying to say Cbd is not herbal then u are seriously deluded

Sadly, it's too easy on criminals here. A life sentence is 7 years on good behaviour (then street cred from whatever stupid gang they're in when they get out) and if you do something so bad that you risk being the target of vigilantes, they just give you a new name, identity and free money for the rest of your life.

Honestly, I think Angela wasn't just lonely. I think she was giving children chocolate and alcohol to groom children for molestation. I mean, if a man was randomly giving candy to small children, and alcohol to young teenagers, people would find it suspicious.
I think the two girls were tired of people neglecting and exploiting them, sensed what Angela's motives were, and decided that since she treated them, they would take out all their rage from the way the were treated on her. I think that's why they stripped Angela naked too.
These girls did something horrible, and have no empathy. But, I think there is more to this story we don't know. I don't think it's so cut and dry that these bad girls attacked her for no reason. I really think shr was grooming children for nefarious reason.

@@chantemoody8416 You can never truly say with these cases but there's no evidence to suggest that she did that. Her neighbours all testified that she was vulnerable and didn't appear to have ill intentions.
To me, it really does just seem that she was so desperate for company and buying alcohol for kids got them to like her - obviously adults can buy their own alcohol so they don't need to come round and be nice to her.
There are cases where teenagers lack empathy with vulnerable individuals because they look and act different and I think that was sadly the case here. The girls didn't see her as a person, just as a way of getting what they wanted, which unfortunately on that day, was a way to let out their anger, a punching bag.
Also I think the clothes being removed was probably a result of her being thrown around and dragged by her clothes and potentially even her struggling but obviously I can't say what their motives were if it as intentional.
I'm not justifying what they did, just providing another possible explanation.

They should of been given a death sentence.

The way you described how Angela felt a sense of purpose taking care of animal kind hit home to me really hard. I don't have much purpose in my day-to-day life and I kept trying to explain to the people around me why I so badly wanted a pet and could never formulate the words to describe it and THAT description hit right on what I was trying to do. I feel lonely, I feel like I have no purpose in this world, I want something that brings just a tiny bit of structure and purpose into my life in the form of a pet.

    • @BookishDark
      @BookishDark Рік тому +3

I do hope you’re doing well. You have purpose and value. Just by being here. I promise you that. You have worth. I sometimes find butterflies and moths in my yard whose wings are all wet and crumpled. I pick them up and spend an absurd amount of time carefully fixing their wings so they’re back to normal and they fly off. I tend to look at those moments through the eyes of people around me - why am I wasting time like this? It’s just a bug. I’m not getting anything productive done…recently I’ve been telling myself something different…a slight modification from dr suess: “a creature has value no matter how small” - maybe my helping this one being wont change the world…but it likely means the world to that creature. Everything we come into contact with, we leave a mark. Most times we don’t even know we’ve done it. You change the world every day by moving through it - every act echos out. We hold a door for someone, or pick something up for someone, or help an earthworm get off the sidewalk on a rainy day - those things make a difference on the people and beings around us. Maybe even indirectly - maybe someone sees you grab a piece of garbage off the ground and throw it in the bin and they think, “wow. that was really good of them…” and it influences them to do the same later down the road. You matter.
Also - I got Guinea pigs when I was depressed for exactly the reason of wanting to feel like I had something to live for. They’re quite a bit of work and there’s a lot to know ahead of time to care for them properly…..but I HIGHLY recommend them. You have to get them in pairs at the very least - they’re extremely social beings. It can be a lot but they’re the best pets in the world - they love to socialize and once they know and trust you will give you kisses and snuggle and they talk, talk, talk (see why I like them? Lol). They’re seriously awesome. I highly recommend them - hands down the best pets. Just make sure, if you go that route, to do the research - they have very specific nutritional needs. I had three boys in the past - bad bad bad idea. I have four boys now…in three separate enclosures lol never had girls but I hear they’re easier lol
      Anyways I truly hope you’re well ❤😊

I’m from Hartlepool and have passed Angela several times. As alcoholics are, she was sometimes a nuisance. But a harmless nuisance and NEVER nasty. I know of these girls as my daughters friend, knows the girls/families. I was also told that Angela was half naked because the girls had picked gravel up from the road and along wit other debris. Put it in a place a don’t even want to say.
My mind boggles as to how evil those girls are.
They are both as much to blame as the other, because at some time, seeing poor Angela cowering should have triggered one of them to realise what they ere doing is depraved. But not once did a conscience click in. They just egged each other on.
So it’s my opinion that once at the age of 18. I believe anyone who has committed a crime with such depravity. They should be named. They’re not kids then. And maybe if that came into law. Young kids who do such horrible things to another human being will know that their crimes will not get swept under the carpet. That one day they will be held accountable. I also believe that’s why so many people commit crime. Because they know our judicial system is an absolute joke.
Thanks for the video Daniel. At least it will keep Angela’s name about for years to come . And will hopefully wake some parents up as to what their kids could get up to if they allow them to drink and run the streets when they should be home…X

I believe they killed Angela because they saw themselves in her and they hated themselves so much. This one made me tear up. I had to pause it multiple times to get through it. I’m a former foster child. I spent a decade in the system. This one hits very close to home. After listening to that 911 call, I got chills. They remind me a lot of some of the other foster children I grew up with, especially their giggling…

I found a lot myself In Angela. I was an alcoholic for many years & slowly but surely hit rock bottom & sounded myself with leeches. I used to drink cheap cider. My flat became a hotspot for people to come & drink. Strangers would climb through my bedroom window because It was broke. I used to pass out on the sofa & would wake up to like 15 people In my bedroom blasting music. So many times I nearly got kicked out of flat by the council. I would spend all my money on drink thinking they liked me. I ended up In some pretty scary situations. I finally came to senses & I’m now 5 years sober. I cut off EVERYONE off & made them well aware that I’m no longer the one to be messed me. My heart breaks for that poor lady. She was so vulnerable 😭 There’s definitely not enough help out there

They recognised their future selves in Angela and took the contempt for themselves, out on her. And they ban weed and tobacco yet alcohol is still acceptable and not considered the greatest destroyer of lives, families and people. Hmmm. There is no excuse for this horrendous murder and torture. They knew what was right and wrong and they knew what they were doing....they went back to prove that. They are young and may possibly have some epiphany and change...but there is always going to be a dark shadow following them.

I’m from Hartlepool and I remember this. I remember the pictures and videos that circulated. Angela was a lovely woman who had a rough life and didn’t deserve any of this at all. The majority of the town know the girls and their real identities and a lot of the town say their true names because they don’t agree that they should get a new life (I don’t agree with telling their names). Having a bad upbringing does not excuse any of the shit these girls did!!

Why did no one report the posts?? Social media has “dumbed down” the youth of this generation and has a lot to answer for. They went back to that house after visiting a friend to continue the attack - no remorse. That’s as shocking as the murder. And that’s why they should have got more than 15 years.

When it comes to murder and torturing someone I don't care if you're a kid or not should be tried the same. When I was a child I was beaten up by 3 girls at a park who I thought just wanted to play with me. But two girls held my arms and another girl was beating me till my nose bled. Luckily a man saw this and came and stopped them and they ran off. If it weren't for him who would have known what could have happened to me. I feel so sorry for Angela. Rip Angela. 🙏 it makes me so sad.

My animals saved my life, I can’t imagine waking up without them. So many people would benefit from an animal but there seems to be so many “rules” making it hard. Since we’re all friends here, I have 7 cats and my complex has no idea. My unit is kept nicer than some non-animal owners in my complex who live alone or have kids. Animals aren’t for everyone, but they truly benefit mental health, whether that’s addiction or a disorder.

For your own health, please don’t adopt more pets. 7 is a lot. Maybe 7 cats is enough. Plus, cats live 20 years so unless one dies I really don’t think you should get more cats. For your own health, having pets is nice but too many is can cause germs or alter your connection to humans

I volunteer at a local animal rescue charity. Sadly neglected animals whose “owners” were drug and or alcohol dependant, is very high. So placing a vulnerable being with someone who can’t look after themselves is a big NO.

As teenagers they would have viewed Angie as a pathetic old alcho who was so desperate for friends she'd do anything they told her to do. Being this age and their backgrounds, they use of drugs and alcohol just lowered their inhabitants, hence they felt it was okay to do that to this pathetic old alcho (speaking of their view of Angie, not mine) they clearly thought (A) nobody would miss her or really care. (B) They thought they'd get away with it...and if they did get caught that very little would be done about it. Which is why they were ballsy enough to call the police to drive them home....IMHO rip Angie 😢💔

In some prisons in the US, they give well-behaved prisoners dogs to train. They have classes, and the dogs stay with them, and they do so much better, and they have a much lower rate of recidivism. It really helps people who need it most.

Owning a dog full time is a very big responsibility and expense. Also no dog rehoming centre would allow someone without any outside space to adopt a dog.
People can volunteer to help out walking dogs at rehoming centres and a drug and alcohol treatment centre could and would arrange such a thing, however you need to remember that any volunteers have to be managed by staff and a disruptive alcoholic would take up too much of their time. When you are ready for it then a pet can have a great effect on the mental health of recovering addicts but the pet cannot be allowed to suffer while you find your way
