Not only did you use the same molding that I am but you ALSO installed it in a very similar peak angle that I have too! Nice job. Hope mine comes out just as good. Ty :)
Simple angle divider tool should be in the apron of every finish carpenter., not only for crown but all kinds of trim molding. As a stairbuilder, I used mine constantly.
Hey ,explane better , said how you get 15 when you said 30 said how you get 15 so people will now how to do it tell them that they have to dived 30 by 2
Your comments show how little you understand about installing crown molding, which is difficult enough, but doing a peak angle is even harder. The cut he did here has nothing to do with the spring angle. It has to do with the change in direction from straight to sloping down 30 degrees. Nice work, #notahandyman!
Thank you. The only helpful video on UA-cam for this

Great video and appreciate the effort, if now I can understand wtf you did haha. Gonna be trying my own after watching 30 videos.
Great tutorial. Thank you for your time and effort to make it and share it with the world.Greetings from Croatia.
Very nice crown work
If you were to go on the last wall…. How would you make that turn?
Great video! What I’m confused on still is why would it not have worked to keep cutting the crown upside down at 15 degrees?
Me too ...Why not ?
I have an issue trying to find the angle and cut on my vaulted ceilings. I have a 45 degress wall and it goes upwards as well
"SAWSET PROTRACTOR" is the most accurate miter finder out there. No Math. No gimmick.
Do the comparison. Great for cutting on the flat.

Great tutorial, how many pigeons do I need to use in the culk mixture?
45😎
why did you not add Crown to the whole room? I am having trouble adding molding to the other wall where the vault ends
i have the same problem, if you found anything for this please send it to me
I moved about a year ago and could t get into my channel until today. I will be back in that house in a few months and will do a video on that
Me too

I'm confused, how did 30 divide by 2 become 50 on the jig?
Thought he said 15
Cause he rolled his crown to fit instead of using the spring angle of the crown. Also the proper angles of the wall.
How do I find the measuring tools?
Edward L. Blanc I found the Kreg crown jig at Lowe’s. It came with the angle finder.
@@notahandyman360 Thanks. I will stop by and take a look. Thanks
Need cut instructions for the turn.
I’m so confused!!
How to cut crown moulding with a kreg jig ***

you never show how you cut it. Rubbish
your 50 degree is really 52. a 38 degree spring angle. 38+ 52= 90 degree
Read his channel name and it should be more like 38 + 52 = 90 degrees.
So learn grammar.
