I think that individual words in Japanese are actually not so hard to pronounce. But not knowing the language, it's just impossible to repeat such a long sentence, said by the first person quickly only one or two times.
Love too see tripleS content!!! I think that couple words in Japanese could be quite easy to remember and pronounce but whole sentence looks actually challenging
For someone who can somewhat undestand some Japanese words, this content is really funny lmao Xinyu!!! Mayu was the perfect person to be the one to guess. She's so adorable
Same here. I'm learning Japanese and I find it interesting cuz I can mostly understand everything that was said, except the tongue twister, I have no idea what that meant.. and also what I find intriguing is how I guessed the month at the end (I haven't yet gotten around to learning the months).. I wondered which month it was when she said "gokatsu" but then I saw the paper and on it was written5月, so I induced from the number that it was May (and I knew it was a month being mentioned because the kanji for moon was used, 月 (this is used both to mean "moon" and "month")).

😂😂she got me at 01:28 끝? ❤😂😂😂I’ve fell for her energetic vibe during the game . Always make her best (and probably something up ) so the game still goes on . Love you❤
No matter how they placed her, the ENGLISH speaker improved or saved the transmission of the message. Each time the phrase was more intact or had been corrected closer to the original after she passed it along. Impressive. This is especially true with the two times where the preceding lady nearly forgot the entire message. I am surprised by this, however I could see how being one of the only Western languages in the group, she was more accustomed to mentally filling in blanks with other Asian languages. Plus, Japanese is around 9% English words, simply said with Japanese pronunciation. English, being as flexible as it is, probably helped in dealing with badly mangled or missing content and still salvage the meaning which allowed her to make some repairs along the way. (You can even see her do this near the start of the video) It is true, that the language you speak changes the way your brain understands the world, other languages, and differing context. The more flexible the language the more flexible the mind has to be, not because a language is "better" but rather that you can get such different concept constructions. i.e. English is sloppy... but so is the telephone game.
bro it has nothing to do with that. It simply means they're an otaku and very familiar with anime/manga culture and heard these phrases many times. If you want flexibility, Chinese is about 100000x more flexible than english.
@@ysf-d9i Don't confuse flexibility with variability. If you slightly change the tone of a word in Chinese you get a totally different word. In English, if you slightly change the tone you just get an accent, still totally understandable. In Chinese it becomes gibberish. If you want broad comprehension, use a language with greater flexibility which is the core of the telephone game. This was a Japanese telephone game and my point is that 9% of Japanese is English borrowed words which gives a slight help to the English speaker in this context.
when u hear a Korean speaker say "new album release" in English followed by "but say it in Japanese accent" i was cracking up lol then 2 more ladies said the exact same thing
Japanese has a medium low and super low sound, and a tonal and subtonal language that makes it difficult auditorily, you have to constantly be listening so as not to forget for those who are not native speakers of Japanese. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
I never studied japanese, but I watched so much anime that I can repeat what they are saying. The problem is I can only understand like 15 - 20% of the words😂
why they make it so difficult this game can be tough with just simple sentences?? That´s not even including it being in a foreign language???? Also OMG they are adorable and funny 🤣Who is the first girl saying th ejapanese sentences. She is gorgeous to me 🥰8:39
I think that individual words in Japanese are actually not so hard to pronounce. But not knowing the language, it's just impossible to repeat such a long sentence, said by the first person quickly only one or two times.
I'm still surprised by how well they got at least part of it tho 😭😭

Japanese pronounce system is very very easy.
Exactly!
It's like learning a 10 secs of total gibberish by heart and just repeating that like a parrot 😂
10:04 The way Nakyoung grabbed her hand and led her through the syllables like she was teaching a kid. 🥰
Yes, she was adorable and after that they all did it. 🤍

4:26 the phrase that appears at the beginning of every episode of any anime hahahaa
I recognized it right away
no wonder it sounds so familiar 😭
I saw in a drama as well. If I'm not mistaken it's to talk about the sponsors of the anime.
@@aroacecreature it means : this program is sponsored by the following... (and u see the sponsor names etc below)
I heard that before in an anime but I forgot which anime it was..
No! *Esta frase se dice en todos los programas de tv, sin importar si son animes* ! この番組はご覧のスポンサーの提供でお送りします.

Dahyun really did amazing here out of the non-Japanese participants. She nailed the Lv2 and Lv4 perfectly. Her Japanese must be at least intermediate
