Actually looking at Chiaki's full execution she's in like, pain the entire time. Walking on a foot that has a damn hole in it and is bleeding out while still reaching the finish line only to die anyway. That probably should be in excruciatingly painful
Exactly, it was physically and mentally an horrible execution. In a way, it reminds me of Kirumi's execution, as she was hoping to escape all that suffering, even though it was actually a trap that led her to an agonizing death. (Sorry for my bad english, lol)
Not to mention Chiaki got hit with two shotput balls, one near the head/eye, and one on her arm. And knowing those are metal, you definitely know those can cause death and of course endless pain.
@@spacecat1452 yeah human Chiaki and Kirumi have pretty similar executions with the long term pain and then thinking they've escaped only to be killed
And LETS REMEMBER SHE DIDN'T DIED THERE , she spoke to izuru after she fell down for like longer than 40s so the pain there must have been out of this universe
I heard that when monokuma injected mikan with the syringe it caused her to over dose and die so the rest of her execution is some random "high off drugs" shit 112 likes from explaining mikans execution thx Edit 2: holy shit over 700 likes tysm Edit 3: 1.2k????? That crazy thx
Drug overdose, i had the same reaction watching it the first time cus i was like...huhh?? But then when you remember they're in a virtual world it sorta made sense before i found out the real reason
she is afraid of oversized stuff and syringe was huge and monokuma didnt actually inject her, he injected the hand which happens to be a left hand, where mikan has bandages on. I have seen some people say she was hallucinating a meeting which Junko or something about her trauma but im not sure.
Funfact: the saws that kirumi were cut with were rusty and seemingly didn’t cut her that deeply, rough and rusty edges are much more painful that clean and sharp ones. Not only did the rust most likely give her an infection and rub in her wound, but the surface level cuts covering her probably became maddening as they less deep cuts are more sensitive and bleed easier. She was in absolute agony, the only way I think she even kept going was adrenaline. Girl was in painnn
You're so right!! I got a cut from a saw once (had to use a chop saw for a class) and it was so agonizingly painful, it hurts so much you almost don't feel it- it's hard to explain. I imagine it was like that for Kirumi but ten times worse of course. She was definitely moving off of adrenaline and sheer determination
can i ask why? she was kind of just.. *there* ..she was a great friend to aoi and all but i don’t see what really made her so special.. spoiler but her being the traitor is the only real thing i was sort of interested in when it came to her-
Poor Tenko, imagine being stabbed in the neck hard enough to slice right through your spinal cord and windpipe and spending your last moments unable to move or breathe or even see anything, just hearing the sounds of your classmates singing and not even realizing you've been hurt.
Actually, if the spinal cord near the head is snapped, the death is instant. It's how hanging works when done properly (Kaede's execution is somewhat indicative of how painful an improper hanging is)
You also can’t forget that on top of being slowly crushed, Kokichi was shot with the poisonous crossbow arrow. He had the pain from the arrow, on top of being slowly killed from the poison, and Shuichi even mentions how Kaito had to act fast to make sure that Kokichi died from the crush, and not the poison arrow.
Mikan's death was an allegory for an overdose (I think that in Japan it's not allowed to show such imagery related to drugs so they completely reinterpreted it) so it would probably be in agonizing or unbearable.
@@aactrlalt I completely forgot about that but yeah, it totally follows with how traumatic all of this is for mikan. But isn't her dislike for big things just this, a disliking ? I'm not an DGRP expert but to my knowledge it's not really linked to her sa, nor neceserally mentionned that she was sa, just that she had a rough childhood. Correct me if I'm wrong tho, I just really like her character and love to know more about her.
@@Tournesol_en_moquette i believe it was confirmed that she was sexually abused at home and in other places like school and her dislike of big things is true, but the cause of that, i got from an article i found. i know that it comes from one aspect of her trauma but which, is unconfirmed.
Mikan has megalophobia? Its an irrational fear of mine. Imagining myself next to that giant hand makes my skin crawl. It could be rational too in regard on mikan's past trauma
Kaede's death was probably the worst in my opinion It was definitely one of the most painful. Not the most painful, but it's made a hundred times worse knowing she was *innocent* She took the fall for Rantaro's death, but she didn't kill him. All the others were either guilty of murder, or tried to kill everyone else (Nagito). She was the only truly innocent one with one of the most painful deaths in the series
The fact that Kaede’s death was number 1 on popular suffering deaths…. She was innocent and died a painful death made it really worse for me…(She was my favorite and her being innocent made it really worse for me…)
@@Akamatsu_Kaede worst part about this, is that tsumugi, the real culprit got the execution equivalent of a slap on the wrist, her death was unfortunately instantaneous inspite the fact she framed someone and rigged the game in her favor
I mean she did have the intention of killing someone. Like there are a few people who accidentally ended up killing someone, like Chiaki, and while she technically didn't kill anyone, she wanted to.
There’s something you forgot to add with Korekiyo’s death was which before being boiled alive; he was already in a lot of pain. When he was tied up in that certain way, it was already causing a lot of excruciating pain and then having to get spinned many times. Which added even more pain to him and then the spinning also probably affected some part at the brain.
Not to mention he even got tortured/killed(?) as a ghost after. By his own sister, that he killed nearly 100 people, and died for, just for her sake. To have gone through all that just to be told it wasn't good enough, and all that was for nothing, must have been horrible. True despair, knowing your suffering, and all of your victim's sufferings, didn't even amount to anything. You and them all died for absolutely nothing.
Imagine sexualizing and character so much they don't get actual character development. Making her trauma based on sexual abuse and abuse and bullying and general. Then turning her into a sexual fanservice then psychopath for "mommy junko then giving her a "what in the actual fuck execution" Danganronpa did mikan filthy
Did Mikan suffer from sexual assault..? Although I do not doubt it, I don’t remember it either… Like… I remember being beaten and abused, but from all I recall… all of her attempts of earning attention by using her beauty got shut down in the series, and she was never taken advantage of. But correct me if I am wrong.
@@brtomassampaio idk but I saw a video on mikans backstory that said she was sexual abused but then again theirs multiple videos with different point of views on mikans backstory
@@cherryd8959 edit: I found 2 videos in which that’s stated, and apparently people are convinced that she suffered from sexual assault because of her offerings about taking her clothes off, even though it’s never specifically said that she was sexually abused. But I guess that’s a reasonable assumption, one that I’ll certainly not go against.
@@brtomassampaio wein the game their where suble signs of it. She would fall in lewd positions to get people to notice her because people practically used her as a toy but the anime uncovers that I'm the game it's her just falling in inappropriate poses to get attention
@@cherryd8959 yeah, I was aware of that. Still, I didn’t assume that she was taken advantage off… Even though now it makes sense, since “if she’s doing it now, it must be because it worked previously”.
I think Chaiki's must have been a bit more high because before her death she was already badly injured + she was still alive after the "Game over", being able to talk to Izuru for a bit
About Teruteru's execution, if you didn't know, fried teruteru is a real food, and he's the ultimate cook, so he's being cooked like you would cook fried teruteru
There's no physical way that Kaede's execution could've taken 8 hours. The clock was there for design and went crazy like everything else on the scene. Not to mention, the students were there to see her dead. They would've noted how long it took or felt exhausted standing there watching her for 8 whole hours.
Not to mention there's a smaller clock in the scene, and it didn't move like crazy. According to THAT clock, the execution lasted minutes at best. The big clock going crazy is there for grotesque and maybe implying that even though her death was relatively quick, it felt like eternity to her and those watching her die. If this killing game is some kind of entertainment show, how the hell would the VIEWERS enjoy eight hours of that? If people rely on the clock, then they should take the other clock into account. I'm appalled so many people actually believe that Kaede's death lasted 8 hours, it makes no sense at all
It’s physically impossible to asphyxiate someone for 8 hours straight unless you’re constantly relieving pressure, never mind while their neck is being jerked around!
Korekiyo 's had to be the most painful. Not only did the spinning likely make him dizzy or sick, he was then put into boiling water. This has been said to be so painful that some dip their head under the water just to end it. NOT ONLY THAT, but when salt was thrown at him as a spirit, it would have felt like a bunch of sharp, burning knives in his skin, according to mythology. And what was mentally paining was that his sister threw salt at him to indicating that she did not love him. Bro... So many likes.. Haha So many likes! I'm famous!
no, i think chiakis execution was more painful imo spoilers for the anime she literally got stabbed so many times, and she got tortured for many many hours, she was barely able to walk, and at the end, she actually thought that she'll be able to survive, but she got stabbed by multiple arrows instead. then she suffered for many many hours and then died of blood loss. her death also caused the whole thing that happened in udg im pretty sure.
@@enakisser0404being that too painful it's not compared to korekiyo, to die from being boiled in hot water takes a lot of hours too and the pain it's Even worse than getting stabbed, trust me
But she got bored at her last living second (I assume this based on her face before getting crushed), so I think she wasn’t in total peace since she couldn’t stand being bored. Just a thought tho And really where’s celeste 😭
@@jojo_vicres I don't think Junko got bored of her execution. She was so happy to deal with the despair that all her plans were ruined and couldn't wait to be executed but when the machine stalled she was confused because it didn't immediately crush her
Im agree... And the fact that he has an ilness too. Well, the ilness has nothing to do with his dead but, his ilness must make him hopeless knowing he would die in short time.
Korekiyo also was "salted" after death, a ledgend says that throwing salt at an evil spirit equals the pain of a thousand hot knives. Korekiyo had the most painful execution in my opinion.
@AgCharmsStudios well imo I think korekiyos is the worst (crying blood/blood seeping out from ur eyes do to being boiled alive meant that the temperature he was being boiled at was extremely hot. Plus, he was salted as a ghost which means he felt thousands of hot knives impaling him (according to mythology). Not just that, I think teruterus execution was pretty quick.
Huh. Taeko Yasuhiro was never mentioned. Either she cheated her way out of death or sent her assassins to not have her name be brought onto the tier list.
Honestly hers has hurt me the most, not because the method of execution itself was the most painful in the series or anything, far from it (even though I feel like she suffered too, as much as she was like: "yeah this is how I would like to go out" before getting run over) This hurt the most for me because of how much I love her
I think Chiaki's death needed to go at the top. even hafter being stabbed through the foot, sliced, hit in the head, stabbed through the chest, they get implaed through every part of there body and they are *still alive*. that whole scene was beyond depressing, it was horifying and probably one of if not the worst executions in the franchise. they didnt die instantly after being impaled and instead bled out on the floor in pain while trying to get back up.
@@winterdreambell That is not a good aregument. It just shows that you want to hate said execution sorely because it comes from the DR3 anime, ergo, a bad reason to hate the execution.
I feel like chiaki should be at the top not only was it physical torture but it was also mental torture. She had a huge pin in her knee that she had to take out a hole in her foot, was caught by a flying spike thing and stuck to a wall, bleeding out of her arm, hit in the face, taunted by junko the whole way, trying to reach her friends and the second she does SPIKES and it’s not even like she immediately dies she still has a full like 2 minute conversation while on her hands and knees bleeding out with izuru trying to to talk to hajime because she knew he was still in there only to die at his feet 😭
The fact that Kaede could have been hanging for over 8 hours... such despair. I couldn't even imagine the mental anguish on Shuichi Edit: Alright, I may have caused an uproar in the replies, so sorry about that.
@@guilherme.ramosmos Well yeah, she's being executed, of course she's in pain. That's what the video states. But I don't hear many people talk about the effect that the executions have on the remaining students
8 hours? I don't think Monokuma would've had everyone just stand there for eight hours, nor do I think Kaede would have been able to survive that long. No, that clock had to be purely decorative.
I think that Nekomaru's execution could also qualify as "at peace" he and Gunham basically fought to the death both agreeing that neither would make it out alive because one would die and the other would take the fall at the trial. While yes Nekomaru was definetely scared as he fell he still knew that his friends would get out of the funhouse alive because of his sacrafice. Keep in mind he was also completely willing to take the RPG shot for Akane, so him being happy to sacrafice himself for a friend isn't just a theory Feel free to reject this but I like to think he was happier than it made him seem when he died
I'd say most of these I agree with. Notable things I would like to bring up though is Angie was uncouncious when she died, so besides the pain of being knocked out, she pretty much died painless like Ibuki did. I wouldn't know how painful being smacked with a wooden board is, but if it knocks you out I doubt you'd feel it until you wake up again, which Angie never got to experience. And also if we look at the died in piece tier we can also rank these based on how painful these are physically. Because emotionally excepting your death doesn't mean you don't suffer. Sakura and Kaito are pretty similar, the difference is that Kaito was suffering long before Sakura did, making him probably more used to the pain. Sakura I imagine wouldn't have had to deal with the pain of poison before. Unfortunately it's pretty hard to say what exact type of poison she consumed that killed her, there are types that cause you to suffocate, ones that cause your blood to become clogged or some that just cause huge amounts of pain before you die of organ failure. Take your pick I guess, but since she vomitted blood it likely cause internal damage somehow. Keebo died instantly I would assume. And Gundham likely suffered large amounts of internal bleeding along with many of his bones including his arms, legs and ribs being broken. And Mikan, if we try to make some sense of her execution, could have died in three different ways. 1. She would have fallen off of the rocket, let's be real that is the one that probably would've happaned, which would cause her to have a quick but painful death whenever she collides with the ground. 2. She would've burned up in the sky, rockets are build to withstand the heat that is created whenever it's supposed to start, the atmosphere causes things to burn up at certain speeds which could very well have happened here. 3. This is the one that would've happened if we take what we see in the execution as what actually happened. Seeing as she got to space before we see the execution end, she would've frozen to death, her cells dying at a rapid pace, freezing is very similar to burning in the sense that it kills your cells at a molecular level, which sounds as bad as it is. Furthermore she would've suffocated if the freezing didn't get to her, but that seems unlikely since suffocating takes a lot longer than people usually think it takes. But thinking about Mikans execution normally is a waste of time anyway. I like to think that her execution is a hallucination that Mikan experienced after being injected with something and subsequently dying from an overdoze or shock. That at least makes the scene more bearable to watch and makes a lot more sense in it being a nurses execution. But the video in conclusion was very fun and I liked the attention to detail.
@AntiChou Not my point at all... considering I'm talking about the physical pain caused by the deaths not the psychological. But yes I'm aware of that...
I believe "Died in Peace" doesn’t mean it wasn’t peaceful, but then character were in peace when that happens That why Gundham and Kaito are in this tier, despise the fact they definitely suffered
@@ZE.brigitte So you mean, like an accepting your death category... dying but not feeling regret at the life they lived? I could see that... even if it's still interesting to think about what they must have felt in their death, despite making peace with the fact that they are dying.
@@ProfessorNilo Yep, exactly I'm mean, they certainly felt regret, but at the end, were satisfied (Kaito going to space, Gundham seeing the Devas alive, Keebo seeing his classmate survived)
I think Gonta and Kirumi had the most painful executions Gonta getting shot by bees until he was stabbed through the stomach and Kirumi continuing through the spinning sawblades thinking she would escape just to fall Don't think I forgot Chiaki in the anime, I was talking about the games- Definitely the saddest and most painful
@@TearMelisse I mean, hers was brutal, sure, but the others were worse. She had kinda given up by then, and it was painful sure, but it ended instantly the second the piano lid flipped. VS Kirumi hadn't given up, had to go through excruciating pain, and had to deal with the terror of falling that far before dying, which still must've left her with a few seconds of pain before death....
@@stonks3507 Gonta a different breed of man cause he went through all of that and no fuss just acceptance of a murder he doesn't even remember committing True Gentleman til the end ong
I don't know if they have noticed but in the scenes of the discovery of the bodies there is a static or something, that depends on what he suffered, that's why those of ibuki and Sakura are fast. This could also be how shocking the protagonist saw it
since you didn’t want to write out an explanation for why teruteru’s execution is so painful, i will. even though it seems like being submerged in lava would be an instant death, it’s not. on average, it takes about three seconds for the person to fall unconscious from the indescribable pain. in that time, the person would burst into flames from the heat, their lungs would burn and cause organ failure, and their eyes would melt out of their skull. i’d agree that it’s up there with kiyo’s execution 100%
they put kork at the top since he burnt so ig it would be the same for celeste? yh she was hit by a truck but before that she was burning and the smoke would’ve got to her lungs before the truck hit, so the smoke could’ve killed her instead, it was never confirmed, either way she suffered being burnt so i would out her somewhere near the top.
@@aactrlalt Kork is at the top because not only did he was burned alive, he was basically cooked from inside out by having his inner organs slowly boiling (which led to the blood from the eyes). While being burned alive is painful as heck, being cooked from the inside is indescribable pain. Not to mention that Kiyo was also tied up in a way that made your limbs twisted and he also was spinned. And in the end his soul or the projection of it was destroyed, which is just horrifying. While him and Celes do have some similarities, Celes’s execution is more quick and humiliating (because of the truck which kept her from being burned alive), while Kiyo’s execution… well, it is a pure torture. IMO, of course.
I think 8 minutes is more accurate than 8 hours or 8 seconds because if you were watching the execution she survived for quite some time before dying also the song was sped up because of how fast and hard the monokubs were pulling the song wasn’t long enough to be played for 8 hours and she probably wouldn’t have been swinging side to side like that if they left her hanging for 8 hours and lastly the monokub ran at the last moment while the piano cover was falling it was a bit slow allowing the monokub to get pushed there on cue but if it really was 8 hours he would’ve had a lot of time to think about pushing him before the piano cover even started to fall down and the monokubs push into the piano looked like it was more of an instinct push thing which means that was done without thinking of the consequence and as for the 8 seconds part that is way too quick to play the song, kill her while having to wait for her to suffocate and kill the monokub the only way it was able to last that long would be if she got a small breath every time she touched a key but those breaths weren’t enough still suffocating and killing kaede leaving everyone to watch in despair because they couldn’t leave until monokuma(mastermind) permitted them access to do so
apparently burning to death isnt as bad as it seems- after a few seconds of third degree burns you wouldnt actually feel the pain and you'd just be freaking out because you are slowly losing all your skin
On top of Kaede's _"8 hours"_ execution, monokumas are throwing stones as well knowing the fact she's not a culprit this makes the execution painful to watch. Also I think chihiro is the most painful execution, remember when he said he was tickled when Naegi put a blanket on top of her. Imagine the pain Chihiro went thru an excavation that she didn't even died one time but two times and she didn't even died at first blow
too add on to kaede's execution she was being stoned monokuma being a robot may have thrown stones with extra robotic strength, its also shown when we see kaede's dead body she was bleeding and the stones tore up piece of her clothing
mikan's execution, once understood, would probably be ranked on incredibly suffering. Mikan has a fear and hatred for big things, so she gets plopped on a giant arm in a strattle position. Sitting in this position on top of the giant arm gave her a certain pleasure, forcing her into an org@sm. this is even worse considering her terrible past of SA. an org@sm makes you hypersensitive to everything around you, and Mikan was sent into space at a super high speed in this state, so she burned while being blasted into the atmosphere and having enhanced senses to take in the pain.
There a theory that for me is the one that makes the most sense. Mikan was drug for monokuma and had an overdose. So what’s happening is imagination cause by drugs. Making her have a heart attack. I say agonizing is a good guess.
Chiaki was still alive after that, she wasn't fully dead for at least another couple minutes at the minimum... She should have been grouped with gonta at the very least tbh
Mikan likely died due to a drug overdose. She's apparently afraid of large needles and injections due to the abuse she suffered, and since her left hand is bandaged up, we can presume that's where she was injected in back then. The hand rocket we see is a left hand, and we see that before leaving that giant needle stuck inside, Monokuma actually injected it inside multiple times. I think the symbolism is that Monokuma basically brought all her past traumas to the surface by forcing Mikan to just lie there and suffer lethal injection after lethal injection until she became too high and loopy to comprehend what was going on anymore until her death. The entire execution was just her tripping out on the drugs until she died, which was her flying off into the stars on the rocket. In other words, as odd as the execution is, Mikan definitelly suffered immensely, both physically and mentally. Not only did she have to relive her past traumas, but since she was injected multiple times, the drug worked slowly, so she was left to suffer for longer.
Is it me or drv3 has the most painful and horrible deaths? Like Ryoma was nocked out, drowned and eaten in front of his classmates, then there's kaede, like 8 hours hanging over a piano, Korekiyo was boiled alive, Gonta was stunk by enormous bugs, then miu was choked to death and Kokichi was slowly crushed by a hydraulic press, like damm those were some brutal deaths!
In my opinion Chiaki should be in Extreme perpetual pain, a ball hit her eye, she was impailed in the foot, also impailed in the thigh and she was walking while enduring these. On top of that, she got impailed TWICE from the chest area and once from her whole body and she was still alive even after all of that.
The thing with Tenko’s death: The way it’s depicted shows that the knife went through the back of her neck Meaning there’s a chance it severed her spinal cord A spinal cord severed that high up means her lungs wouldn’t be receiving signals from the brain She was suffocating Depending on how heavy the bleeding was, there’s a chance she passed out due to lack of oxygen, which would’ve been accelerated by her blood loss It would take the average person about 3 minutes to pass out due to oxygen deprivation But remember, her jugular could’ve been cut, too Meaning already oxygenated blood wouldn’t be making it to the brain, so chances are she passed out *far* sooner than that, especially because she had a smaller frame
I don't know if I would put Angie in "quick, but painful”. She was unconscious, so I wouldn't think she would've felt the sword in her neck. Ryoma, I can accept where he was placed, because drowning would've forced him to awaken, but Angie's death seems a little too quick for her to notice. I also wouldn't say that Gundham died in piece, as him giving his devas one last smile implies that he lived shortly after getting rammed by an army of animals, meaning he was likely in pain as he laid dying, even if it was brief.
I agree with Angie’s, but I do feel like it’s fair to say that Gundham died in peace. Yes he was in pain, but he was at peace even up until his dying breath because he knew his hamsters were safe.
@@misstoefosho He was dead in the piranha tank, but he was drowned in his lab's washroom sink. The scratches found on said sink indicates that he had awoken long enough to struggle before he officially drowned.

6:38 a stab like that likely broke the spinal cord at it’s most vulnerable point. And in a deadly way. To where she instantly died. Especially at that speed. I’d rate (extremely) quick but not instant. (Don’t ask where I learned this. I myself don’t remember. Probably learnt it from tornado drills)
Warning spoilers (if you watch this video you probably already know the plot of dangan V3 ) Kaede execution scarred me probably the most in all of the danganronpa franchise, firstly I naively believed that she cant die if she was a main character in the 1st act. secondly the punishment itself was something I would personally have nightmares about and it was the most dreadful sight, seeing her struggling until she didnt move an inch. Man it actually traumatized me for some reason, even if it is just a game. I remember I did not want to continue playing the game for a week, until I got curious again. And it didnt get better when the shuichi and others found out, that she wasnt the killer. I guess the only factor that makes it less awful is that all of them in V3 before joining the competition were people who were eager to kill people for fun and excited for the executions, even inventing their own desired death. But then they get the memory erased and so now they are all confused and scared.
Chiaki was still alive after the spikes pierced her, she held a pretty long conversation with hajime before bleeding out. I think she should be where gonta is
Kaede didn’t deserve what happened to her. The fact she was so kind to everyone and yet suffered what was one of, if not, the MOST painful execution is so unfair. I love my girl Kaede ☹️❤️

For everyone who was happy teruteru got executed listen. He terribly wanted to go home to save his business and help his mother as she had a sickness. He also only planned the first kill after seeing nagito to set the knife under the table.
Dude i cringed SO HARD when Nagito shoved his hand straight through the knife 😭 if I hadn't already let go of the spear while stabbing myself multiple times in multiple limbs, I 100% would have dropped it then. Mad respect, honestly
The audacity of urs to put real chiaki’s death in only unbearable category ☠️☠️☠️ she suffered sm i remember crying the first time i watched that episode
For Mikan Tsumuki’s execution, the shot was lethal injection, amd they way she was treated in her story (regarding sexual abuse) is the reason why monokuma thought of that. (the speed of the arm being shot to the sky probably had friction and burned her alive.)
I feel like chiaki’s should be higher, considering how she had a couple of stab wounds, and more (I don’t remember what else) she was also alive after the “game over” part because she was talking to kamukara right after, which means she probably was in pain that whole time talking No hate btw! Love your videos, keep up the good work 😊
i just have ONE question.. who tf made those horrifying executions, like thats straight up torture😭, can pls someone tell me what some of them have done to deserve this
I think one thing that is not explored here is the emotional pain felt by each executed character. Yes, physically these categories fit, but the emotion behind each makes a huge difference for a lot of them. Emotional pain still hurts a lot and can change each of these scenarios from Unbearable to Extreme Perpetual Pain. For example, the Chiaki execution was brutal because she was pushing through agonizing traps only to be tricked once she hit the exit, being met by fake versions of the people she cared about to lure her into a trap of spikes. That would put her execution into Extreme Perpetual Pain for me. Imagine fighting through so many saw traps and physical strifes to think you made it to the end only to realize that it was a trap that ended in your death. That would make the whole situation even more agonizing. This is also the case for Peko's execution. Imagine you are in a fighting situation (you have to fight or die) and someone you love interferes. For me, simply hitting them accidentally would be enough to cause me trauma and panic. Now, in Peko's shoes, you almost kill the one person who was so so important to you in the midst of fighting for your life. That emotional anguish (especially as the last feeling I ever feel) would be enough for me to categorize it as Extreme Perpetual Pain or on the high end of Incredibly Suffering. On the other hand, I don't think Ryoma's death would be as agonizing as suggested. Is drowning a painful way to go? Yes. However, he felt he had nothing to live for and sort of accepted that. He was willing to be the victim in Chapter 1 due to his criminal past and having nothing to gain from winning. The video from Chapter 2 only solidified that for him and he essentially sacrificed himself so his killer (who had a lot to live for) could go free. He'd be low on the Agonizing scale because of this, since he seemed to have more pain in living than in death. And additionally, Nagito would fall into a lighter tier as well since he planned his own murder for the sake of weeding out the traitor. He slashed his own body and set up the trap that he knew would kill him. Physically, he knew it would be painful. He mentally prepared himself for days if not weeks to execute the plan he had. For me, this would put him in either Unbearable or Incredibly Suffering (probably the latter) since he would know what he is up against. He may not be able to predict how the poison would manifest, but he would be able to predict how painful the slashes to his body would be. In short, emotions have a huge role in how painful an execution will be. People who have their hopes dashed or a fault put on them mid-death would feel much more pain than the average person. On top of that, people who think they are a stepping stone to another goal will have less pain. Emotional pain can make the physical pain much much worse or manifest in pain that was not there to begin with. Point is, the emotional toll plays a bigger role in these deaths than this tier list accounts for.
kirumi’s execution was defo the worst, she was climbing for ages on a rope of thorns, blades cutting into her and just to reach the top- only to realise there was no exit to the well and she fell to her death and landed on one of the monokubs
4:16 Okay just gotta ask. Wasn't the cause of her death from the game shock thing? (i think is how you die while in the game) Cause the strangulation only happened inside the game right?
mikan, in my opinion, probably suffocated in space or died from an overdose and she was just imagining she was going to space slash was fucking high out of her mind so I’d say it was quick but painful or agonizing (still a bad execution)
I know that what I'm about to say has nothing to do with the theme (or even do) but I watched this video in the following day of it's release, which was the day my favourite cat died, and my mom said that she (the cat) hasn't any marks of car accident / animal attack / poisoning, and it's unknown to us if she had any deceases, but i presume that she died of natural causes and maybe peacefully, even though she was 3 years old. I'm still processing the loss of her, but just by knowing that she died in a maybe peaceful way and doing something that se loved, it makes me feel a little bit comfortable
they put kork at the top since he burnt so ig it would be the same for celeste? yh she was hit by a truck but before that she was burning and the smoke would’ve got to her lungs before the truck hit, so the smoke could’ve killed her instead, it was never confirmed, either way she suffered being burnt so i would out her somewhere near the top.

Also after she was pierced she was still alive for a short while, her cause of death would probably be blood loss, either way that extremely painful
Lmao, to this day I still don’t even understand what the hell is happening in Mikan’s execution.
I think it had to do with her fear and trauma.
Exactly it’s so weird 😭💀
I heard that when monokuma injected mikan with the syringe it caused her to over dose and die so the rest of her execution is some random "high off drugs" shit

Girl was in painnn
no wonder its called strand of agony
and also she fell head-first so
You're so right!!
But she did all that IN HEELS THOUGH?? GRIL'S A FREAKING BOSS

Mikan's death was an allegory for an overdose (I think that in Japan it's not allowed to show such imagery related to drugs so they completely reinterpreted it) so it would probably be in agonizing or unbearable.
she also hates big things (because of her sa), so the syringe and hand must have been traumatising-
@@aactrlalt I completely forgot about that but yeah, it totally follows with how traumatic all of this is for mikan.

Kaede's death was probably the worst in my opinion
It was definitely one of the most painful. Not the most painful, but it's made a hundred times worse knowing she was *innocent*
She took the fall for Rantaro's death, but she didn't kill him. All the others were either guilty of murder, or tried to kill everyone else (Nagito).
She was the only truly innocent one with one of the most painful deaths in the series

There’s something you forgot to add with Korekiyo’s death was which before being boiled alive; he was already in a lot of pain. When he was tied up in that certain way, it was already causing a lot of excruciating pain and then having to get spinned many times. Which added even more pain to him and then the spinning also probably affected some part at the brain.
not to mention his dead sister helped which must of caused a lot of mental pain considering he was willing to fuck her and kill people for her-
If I remember well it was even a torture methode
Bro also got betrayed by his sister in the end
I remember reading somewhere that to a ghost, exorcising is like 1000 knives stabing into the body. So it may make kork felt even more pain.

Did Mikan suffer from sexual assault..?
Although I do not doubt it, I don’t remember it either…

There's no physical way that Kaede's execution could've taken 8 hours. The clock was there for design and went crazy like everything else on the scene. Not to mention, the students were there to see her dead. They would've noted how long it took or felt exhausted standing there watching her for 8 whole hours.
YUPPP this is literally a theory that started in youtube comment sections I can't believe people actually believed this
Not to mention there's a smaller clock in the scene, and it didn't move like crazy.

Honestly hers has hurt me the most, not because the method of execution itself was the most painful in the series or anything, far from it (even though I feel like she suffered too, as much as she was like: "yeah this is how I would like to go out" before getting run over)
This hurt the most for me because of how much I love her
I think Chiaki's death needed to go at the top. even hafter being stabbed through the foot, sliced, hit in the head, stabbed through the chest, they get implaed through every part of there body and they are *still alive*. that whole scene was beyond depressing, it was horifying and probably one of if not the worst executions in the franchise. they didnt die instantly after being impaled and instead bled out on the floor in pain while trying to get back up.

These are super accurate and I like how the subtitles are pretty serious most of the time but sometimes aren’t. It’s funny and I love this video.
I believe "Died in Peace" doesn’t mean it wasn’t peaceful, but then character were in peace when that happens
That why Gundham and Kaito are in this tier, despise the fact they definitely suffered
@@ZE.brigitte So you mean, like an accepting your death category... dying but not feeling regret at the life they lived?
I could see that... even if it's still interesting to think about what they must have felt in their death, despite making peace with the fact that they are dying.

even though it seems like being submerged in lava would be an instant death, it’s not. on average, it takes about three seconds for the person to fall unconscious from the indescribable pain. in that time, the person would burst into flames from the heat, their lungs would burn and cause organ failure, and their eyes would melt out of their skull. i’d agree that it’s up there with kiyo’s execution 100%

Celeste and Mukuro should go in the higher catagories.
@@aactrlalt idk if Celeste should be higher than Kork atp, she died from the truck and visibly not weaken by the smokes all over her feet right?
I think 8 minutes is more accurate than 8 hours or 8 seconds because if you were watching the execution she survived for quite some time before dying also the song was sped up because of how fast and hard the monokubs were pulling the song wasn’t long enough to be played for 8 hours and she probably wouldn’t have been swinging side to side like that if they left her hanging for 8 hours and lastly the monokub ran at the last moment while the piano cover was falling it was a bit slow allowing the monokub to get pushed there on cue but if it really was 8 hours he would’ve had a lot of time to think about pushing him before the piano cover even started to fall down and the monokubs push into the piano looked like it was more of an instinct push thing which means that was done without thinking of the consequence and as for the 8 seconds part that is way too quick to play the song, kill her while having to wait for her to suffocate and kill the monokub the only way it was able to last that long would be if she got a small breath every time she touched a key but those breaths weren’t enough still suffocating and killing kaede leaving everyone to watch in despair because they couldn’t leave until monokuma(mastermind) permitted them access to do so
Chiaki's death may be unbearable, but it was definitely Extremely Perpetually Painful to watch as an audience. D;
Facts :(
apparently burning to death isnt as bad as it seems- after a few seconds of third degree burns you wouldnt actually feel the pain and you'd just be freaking out because you are slowly losing all your skin
The first few seconds must feel like hell
On top of Kaede's _"8 hours"_ execution, monokumas are throwing stones as well knowing the fact she's not a culprit this makes the execution painful to watch. Also I think chihiro is the most painful execution, remember when he said he was tickled when Naegi put a blanket on top of her. Imagine the pain Chihiro went thru an excavation that she didn't even died one time but two times and she didn't even died at first blow
I like how the whole explanation for Leon's execution was just:
AHUAHUAHUAH 😭😭
AHUAHUAHUAHUAH 😭😭😭
5:05 i totally didnt see anything out of the ordinary
Plus it's been speculated that kirumi didn't even die from the fall and that she dies from bleeding out
too add on to kaede's execution she was being stoned
monokuma being a robot may have thrown stones with extra robotic strength, its also shown when we see kaede's dead body she was bleeding and the stones tore up piece of her clothing
mikan's execution, once understood, would probably be ranked on incredibly suffering.

I love how four of my favorite characters ever have peaceful deaths. Literally had nothing bad to say about anything at them one bit
The thing with Tenko’s death:
The way it’s depicted shows that the knife went through the back of her neck
Meaning there’s a chance it severed her spinal cord
A spinal cord severed that high up means her lungs wouldn’t be receiving signals from the brain
She was suffocating
Depending on how heavy the bleeding was, there’s a chance she passed out due to lack of oxygen, which would’ve been accelerated by her blood loss
It would take the average person about 3 minutes to pass out due to oxygen deprivation
But remember, her jugular could’ve been cut, too
Meaning already oxygenated blood wouldn’t be making it to the brain, so chances are she passed out *far* sooner than that, especially because she had a smaller frame
once her spinal cord was cut she couldnt feel anything because when your spinal cord is severed you die instantly 💀💀
"Died in peace" don't mean the character didn't suffered, but literally, were in peace
Ryoma was already dead, he couldn't have awakened again when in the water.
@@misstoefosho He was dead in the piranha tank, but he was drowned in his lab's washroom sink. The scratches found on said sink indicates that he had awoken long enough to struggle before he officially drowned.
@@newbiegamelover4767 Oh my apologies, I thought you implied he drowned in the piranha tank. You're right.
Peko: mine was most painful.
Kirumi: no, mine was.
Kaede: amateurs.

Kaede: AMETEURS.
this video saved my cat
long story short i dont usually watch anime but when i do i binge watch it so when i saw chiaki in this video i decided to watch the anime and it just so happond that the room i was watching thr anime in was next to the front door and somehow my cat got outside and couldn't cone back if i wasn't in that room watching the anime i would've went to my. bedroom and slept abd left my cat outside
basically thank u 😭
ok i just finished watching the anime wat the shit did i just witness 😭
6:38 a stab like that likely broke the spinal cord at it’s most vulnerable point. And in a deadly way. To where she instantly died. Especially at that speed. I’d rate (extremely) quick but not instant.
(Don’t ask where I learned this. I myself don’t remember. Probably learnt it from tornado drills)
Warning spoilers (if you watch this video you probably already know the plot of dangan V3 )
Kaede execution scarred me probably the most in all of the danganronpa franchise, firstly I naively believed that she cant die if she was a main character in the 1st act. secondly the punishment itself was something I would personally have nightmares about and it was the most dreadful sight, seeing her struggling until she didnt move an inch.
Man these deaths sure are full of despair
"An actual good character"
Yes. She was. :_)
(I'm telling you, I cried
When she and K1-B0 d!3d.)
Whos the "she"
Tenko definitely died slowly since “Tenko died instantly” was a lie bullet
I forgor 💀
4:07 She also had a broken wrist from before, adding to her pain
Even though it wasn't there, what would you rate Celestia's Execution?
Quick but painful, she was hit by full speed from a big firetruck
@@guilherme.ramosmos or agonizing
they put kork at the top since he burnt so ig it would be the same for celeste? yh she was hit by a truck but before that she was burning and the smoke would’ve got to her lungs before the truck hit, so the smoke could’ve killed her instead, it was never confirmed, either way she suffered being burnt so i would out her somewhere near the top.

For everyone who was happy teruteru got executed listen. He terribly wanted to go home to save his business and help his mother as she had a sickness. He also only planned the first kill after seeing nagito to set the knife under the table.

2:50actually, mikansaidthatmahirudiedinstantlyandfeltnopain.
danganronpa V3 has the most brutal deaths and executions. some of them were instant deaths but most were incredibly brutal especially the executions.
5:03 BROO NAHHH😭😭
I agree with all of these, and the fact my favorite characters were all in the top 2 tiers 😭
1:19 i can tell by the picture
Me after watching the whole clip: AW HELL NAHHH
I wanna say, for the U Imposter, dont forget the autopsy mentioned he was stabbed a little morre than a dozen times in quick succesion
3:47 don't forget being betrayed by the one he loved when his soul tried to escape
The audacity of urs to put real chiaki’s death in only unbearable category ☠️☠️☠️ she suffered sm i remember crying the first time i watched that episode
Kirumi's the definition of "NEVER BACK DOWN NEVER WHAT"
crazy how much pain the human body can withstand
yeah terrifying to know that i'm able to live through so much pain before finally dying....
For Mikan Tsumuki’s execution, the shot was lethal
injection, amd they way she was treated in her story
(regarding sexual abuse) is the reason why monokuma
thought of that.
(the speed of the arm being shot to the sky probably
had friction and burned her alive.)
I feel like chiaki’s should be higher, considering how she had a couple of stab wounds, and more (I don’t remember what else) she was also alive after the “game over” part because she was talking to kamukara right after, which means she probably was in pain that whole time talking
No hate btw! Love your videos, keep up the good work 😊
5:05 who else noticed this guy wrote goofy ahh femboy then quickly changed it to chihiro?💀
i just have ONE question.. who tf made those horrifying executions, like thats straight up torture😭, can pls someone tell me what some of them have done to deserve this
I think one thing that is not explored here is the emotional pain felt by each executed character.
It’s only the bad ending where Kyoko is executed
I nearly cried to see her (not so real) execution 😭
kirumi’s execution was defo the worst, she was climbing for ages on a rope of thorns, blades cutting into her and just to reach the top- only to realise there was no exit to the well and she fell to her death and landed on one of the monokubs

Considering how mondo literally melts into butter, im surprised he's not put up there on the very top
4:16 Okay just gotta ask. Wasn't the cause of her death from the game shock thing? (i think is how you die while in the game)
Cause the strangulation only happened inside the game right?
Are you a part of the OSC?
mikan, in my opinion, probably suffocated in space or died from an overdose and she was just imagining she was going to space slash was fucking high out of her mind so I’d say it was quick but painful or agonizing (still a bad execution)
My theory on pekos death is died to the sword In her head so maybe it was quick but painful?
These robots looks sadic, i think they hit the sword behind her head so she could suffer from the other hits of blades
@@guilherme.ramosmos seems resonable enough
i think it was in her back and not head
I know that what I'm about to say has nothing to do with the theme
(or even do) but I watched this video in the following day of it's release, which was the day my favourite cat died, and my mom said that she (the cat) hasn't any marks of car accident / animal attack / poisoning, and it's unknown to us if she had any deceases, but i presume that she died of natural causes and maybe peacefully, even though she was 3 years old.
I'm still processing the loss of her, but just by knowing that she died in a maybe peaceful way and doing something that se loved, it makes me feel a little bit comfortable
Gundham was trampled to death though... Sure his final moments were in peace, but his actual cause of death was getting trampled by animals.
Question how tf did the vine not get cut in kirumis execution like 100 saws and NONE cut it
I don't think the saws were able to reach the vine, just Kirumi's body
Celestia had the worst death in my opinion being burned alive is the worst pain somebody can feel plus than she was hit by a firetruck
