  • Replacing old harmonic Balancer on the Honda K24 engine. Update...at the 4:36 mark in the video, i said to tighten its counter clockwise..should have been to tighten is clockwise. A view pointed that mis-spoke out to me.

    Unfortunately stock original engine with 200k miles the bolt is alot hard to get off than a 18v impact gun. Still haven't been able to get mine off as of yet.

      mix up a mixture of 50% acetone and 50% automatic transmission fluid..great rust buster.

      I just did one. I heated the bolt by its washer, in a slow circular motion for 2 minutes with a MAP torch. The bolt and pulley came right off with no drama.
      Though judging by the smoke from the bolt, crank pulley, and the woodruff key, 2 minutes was way too much. I'd start with 1 minute of torch time, next time.
      This was on a 2010 TSX with the K24 and 158k miles.

    Rady is tidy lefty is Lucy you turned it to the right to tighten it yet you said counterclockwise is to tighten
