Found out today I passed the CPC last Saturday. Official CPC-A! Thank you Mr. Hoang for your videos and encouraging comments. Thank you for taking time to share your knowledge with us and in a manner that is easy to understand.
Hi M M. Congratulations on passing the CPC exam and thank you so much for sharing this good news with me. Your hard work has paid off. Your next step is to find a coding job and continue learning to become a great coder. I wish you all the best in your future coding career.
@@codingwithhoang @Hoang Nguyen I think no matter how long I am in the coding field I will always come back to review your most helpful videos, old and new. May God bless you for your generosity in teaching us. I know your videos made all the difference for me.
Hi Mr.Nguyen, I passed my CPC!! I'm so grateful of your video's. This was very helpful. I was able to pass after watching your videos. Thank you so much..
Hi Yolanda. Congratulations on passing the CPC exam and thank you so much for sharing this good news with me. You achievement will open new doors of opportunities. I think I break the record of helping people passing the CPC exam. I wish you all the best in your future career!
Hoang I wanted to thank you very much for taking your time on making each video and allowing us access for free. I take my CPC in two days im going through your videos as prep. Thank you again.
I am trying to put them all together into the case studies so that you can understand the surgeries and procedures better. Thank you so much for your comment and support.
Thank you so much sir. I love you because you just want to help without taking a penny in a world where no one does anything without money. God bless you
Thank you for your videos! I failed my first attempt and committed myself to your videos. I was watching whenever I could and making all possible notes… I passed at my second attempt. Thank you so much!!!
After watching different videos on how to prepare for the CPC exam, i have found your videos the easiest to follow and very helpful. The other videos did not explain the reasoning behind the answers very well, but you explain it slowly and in a easy to follow manner. And i like your backwards approach to eliminating options in multiple choices questions. Thank you 🙏
Keep on educating us! Your content is so easy to follow. I currently hold a specialty certification and I am taking the big name training class for cpc. I have found that I keep going back to your videos for guidance. I would highly recommend your videos to anyone looking to take the exam without having to pay high prices for classes!
Hi Tala. I am glad that I could help even you are taking a big name training class. Thank you so much for your comment and your support. Good luck with your study.
Hello, I have been watching your videos for awhile now... The way you explained the guidelines was very precise that i was able to understand it easily... Can you make a video on explaining cardiac catheterization. I wasn't able to find one... I plan on going for my CPC exam.. I just haven't booked the date yet... Am currently preparing for it and your videos helps me so much... Thank you for your hard work.
Hi Angel. Below is the link to the video that I posted 9 years ago about how to code a left heart cath and right heart catheterization. The codes and guidelines are still the same so I should watch and take note. I hope it helps. ua-cam.com/video/gtQFC22KPaU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/6XQUQk-TAjM/v-deo.html
I’m so glad and grateful to see your new lesson video every week. Thank you so much for your hard work over the weekend as you mentioned in video, I highly appreciate that. And I wish you a good day.
Hi Phung. Just reading positive comments from everyone makes me feel appreciated and want to do more. Thank you so much for your comment and support. All the best.
Hi Hoang! I appreciate everything you are doing to impart wisdom in this field!! I have a question though, when are units applied to a cpt code i.e. x20 or x2... Etc. I took my exam yesterday but became flustered when I came across those particular questions. Please advise. Appreciated! Frankie-
I love watching listening to and learning from your videos, thank you for your hard work and showing us all what is possible when you really put your mind to it! About question#4, (about 15:00), Wouldn't there need to be a modifier of "RT" added to 32480, since it specifies RIGHT lung? Thank you
I believe you have enough time to watch all of my videos and prepare for the COC exam. You need to focus more on the surgery and procedure sections than the E/M since this credential is for hospital outpatient coders. You can do it. Good luck with your study.
Mr Hoang I enjoy the way you teach. Have you thought of making a class that is approved for ceu's? I think it would go over very well. You have such a good following on you tube.
Hi Michala. Beside watching my CPC exam prep videos, you also need to watch those vides that I posted 9 years ago to cover the "ROOT OPERATION" for PCS and read the coding guideline, then you should be OK.
I focused so much on PCS, I love this channel for CPT! Try The Coding Guild. I watch as many as I can for my CCS prep. Get the CCS Exam Prep orange colored book. Good luck!
Mr. Nguyen, I didn't understand how you came up with the answer for question 9. I understand why 21385 wasn't correct, but I didn't couldn't correlate the answer with the question. Could you help me understand please?
If look under the main term: Caldwell- Luc procedure, it will direct you to see sinuses/ maxillary, exploration. Follow the instruction, you will see the code range 31020-31032. Your next step is to check these available codes in the tabular list and only CPT 31030 mentions "Caldwell-Luc" which is the name of the surgeon who found this surgical approach and it is the correct answer code to the question " open Caldwell-Luc procedure" of maxillary sinuses. I hope it helps.
@@codingwithhoang I came here to ask the same question because under Caldwell-Luc Procedure, there is no direction to See Sinuses which would then lead to Maxillary, Exploration.
I get so confused coding FESS procedures. What is included in tissue removal? Like what do they consider "tissue"? Also how is turbinate coblation coded? Is this the same as ablation?
When you have a question for me, please give me a reference for example question or case number or the minute of the video so I don't have to spend time and watch the entire video to look for it. Thank you.
You are correct! I went too far up but as long as you understand the relationship between the parent code and the indented code then you are good. In this case, all I want to see is the keyword "thoracoscopy" just to make sure that they are done endoscopically and not by an open approach. I hope it helps.

Sir in question 2 of this video, at 7:24 minutes, shouldn't a modifier LT be also used alongwith the code to give the final answer as 31365-LT ?
