My first thought when it came to the radio phone, ooh that would be quite useful on Svalbard. The only mobile coverage is basically just in the settlements(Longyearbyen(Norwegian) and Barentsburg(Russian)), but then it would be required to keep battery life in super cold climate.

Yeah, I'm sure it's a pain to do in the UK, but even .22lr would be substantially more powerful than that pellet, and I doubt it'd do much of anything to slow a proper rifle round down.

I wonder how the ROG Phone 5S compares in terms of volume, as it has some ludicrously competent speakers in it for a smartphone. Like, I think they might be THX compliant down to 80Hz as full-range speakers. I was legitimately impressed when I heard them, and I've heard the HTC M8, the Axon 7, and some other reasonably well designed stereo speaker phones. They have nothing on the ROG Phone 5S.

Actually, several of these phones actually are decent with routine tasks. Not on flagship level. But probably satisfactory for a good number of people. Considering the fact that most of these phones with these features are available in the 300-700 range. So compromises are understandable.

I gotta say Oukitel actually does use energy efficient components in their phones. I got an Oukitel C18 Pro and even though it "only" has a 4200 mAh battery it can still play music over my headphones for like 4 hours a day + about 2 hours of UA-cam and I only have to charge it every third day
Thats still poor, modern phones from 2019 - 2023 can play 10+ hours of videos per charge.

Those thermal camera phones are cool but you can turn any phone into one with a small attachment called Flir One. The most basic one only costs $120 and comes in USB-C and lightning plugs, so you can even add a thermal camera to your iPhone.
I have no serious use for a thermal camera but I just find it interesting so I bought one and it's actually really cool.
The only drawback is that it plugs into your phone's charging port, so it makes your phone taller, or even worse, if your port is on the side, sticking out the side. It can also fall out quite easily if you shake the phone around too much.

Go to a shooting range. usually the staff is nice and might let you tape the phone to a target. you can then use any gun they have, and some shooting ranges even have high power sniper rifles and miniguns.

I dont know how bad most speakers are but my samsung galaxy a32 speaker outside at max is extremely loud. I tested it and someone could hear it clearly from a pretty far distance.

Their channels are so different though, it's crazy. Arun just makes videos on his own in his attic and he does just fine. MKBHD has an entire company though. He spends tens of millions of dollars on it too, with a huge studio, expensive equipment and many employees.

It’s one of the worst. We get power cuts about 4-5 hours daily after 4pm which is straight sh*t. And guess what I’m about 3-4 kilometers away from the main city (parliament is there too) And my phone has No service
