That biodome at 1:20 looks so neat and very detailed for a game that was developed for PSP. It's background details like this I catch during a race or in a replay that make me want more of Wipeout. Like there's a whole world around that track that kinda draws me in.
@@lolcatwill That's not the point. It is a cool detail. idk if you are just trying to be snarky to feel better or if you believe you are being informative
played online a while ago with a mate, was pretty fun but shame that the textures glitch out, i would assume it has something to do with the fact that you could have custom ship liveries
Yo this is amazing! I also have Wipeout Pulse on PPSSPP, is that really all you need to play together? Would be awesome to race with you guys at some point and other Wipeout fans too :)
Besides PPSSPP settings what makes it look crisp is an external texture pack and a postprocessor to make the bloom effects, i updated the description so you can them by yourself!
Ok so, you gotta have these 4 files: -The original ISO UCES00465 -"patch.bat" -"xdelta3-3.0.11-x86_64.exe" -"WipEout Pulse - FX350 Edition v4.0 (Europe).xdelta3" The last 3 files are aviable on github that will lead you to a Mega link: Mods>Wipeout Pulse - FX350 Edition v4.0 Put all of the 4 files inside a folder and open "patch.bat", windows won't allow you at first for safety reasons but check more details and it will give you the option to run it anyways. after opening it the console will open and will create a folder inside the folder containing the 4 files called "patch". Open the "patch" folder and you'll find the modded ISO ready to be used, just put it where you keep all your PPSSPP ISO games and you are done!@@mouzz
*Wait, Online???* You can play Wipeout Pulse through PPSSPP online? If there's a server where you got this running and isn't just something you only got to do because you had friends that wanted to play Wipeout with you, I really want to know to try this out as well
@@dRoastedCat should be same tag as my UA-cam handle, if there's something I'm not missing because I don't know if the old number tag format was really removed from discord I'm any case though I can double check in the morning
I give a chance to this game and i do not like it. I prefer to play fzero-x This game the road is too small, not enought oppenents (only 8), sometime the boost in the ground is hard to see and is not even fun to take (short and big boost lol) and too much colors and turn. We are more focusing in the road than to beat the oppenents. The graphic is nice but the gameplay i prefer the other one
Haven't tried this emulated version out yet but it looks really good. High res and super smooth frame rate. Great video and gameplay!
Thanks a lot! I suggest you to try it indeed!
It’s meeee,
Here before it processes to 1080p 💀
holy moly i didnt know people still did this, i remember playing Pure with a few BallisticNG people a while back, crazy to see tbh
Yess, scattered around the world there still is people XD
Thanks, bro. You guys are fun to watch. Obsessed with this series lol
No way, I had been playing on the HD servers for a while, but I had no idea that Pulse had an active playerbase too! I'd love to join y'all sometime.
Sure mate, just leave here your discord and i'll hit you up!

@@xXReimuHakureiXx and probably we're still missing some details😂
The emulator really brings out the mesmerizing detail in the levels
isnt that just a skybox
@@lolcatwill not a 100% sure but it probably is, having the texture packs helps the visuals a lot aswell for skyboxes

We can try disabling them on next races then, ty for the suggestion

I still play pulse with my brother through adHoc in ppsspp, zame problem with ship textures
ahah, we still didn't figure out a way around it but at least it isn't a major problem XD
Yeah, still a great game
What emulation settings did you use to get it to look this good? The fonts and UI elements look especially crisp.

I didn't even know there's an online mode
there defenitely is ahah
Does ppsspp have emulation support now? Or is this the ps2 version? I'd love to take a crack at pulse again at some point
This is the psp version emulated on ppsspp, Online is a bit inconsistent but def playable
how to apply these mods _ ive followed the links opening them with notepad[[ but i have no idea where to begin to apply them to the original ISO
It's been so long i forgot xd
Dw, later i'll do that once again and tell u how to do it step by step

I wish I knew how to dev to just do a "simple" "rip-off" of Wipeout on PC, like Palworld did with Pokemon.
fuck them.
ahahah, skills can be learned
Omega collection's ok but the Wipeout's from PS1 to PSP and N64 were more fun with better music.
Maybe is because each of them brought something new into the franchise, i don't know if eventually a new game would bring new tracks or ships
