Besides making PPSSPP render it at 8x PSP's resolution (4k) what makes the magic it's NR74W and reTOKYO's texture pack, it makes everything clean and defined

one of the many questions that won't be ever solved XD jokes aside i really have no idea, if u enable quake on the pure tracks you can "fire" it but nothing will happen, maybe Pure tracks miss some sort of data/keypoint that Pulse's quake need in order to work properly menawhile repulsor would use other set of data or even the same but defenitely it doesn't need what blocks quake from working... but this is just a speculation of mine

it's true that some fails leave me salty but it only gets frustrating when i can't adjust the cam to have a decent view of each track in less than 4 attempts... OR WHEN THE AUDIO RECORDING STARTS GOIN BRRRRRRRR FOR SOME ARCANE OBSURE REAS- ahem, but it's part fun

I liked the simple fact that the white track had a little difference from the black, just as fort gale, basilico, arc prime and so on

when you open the iso, navigate to PSP_GAME/USRDIR/Data/XML/WeaponStats_Race.xml That is the xml containing odds and strenght (damage, blast radious etc) of weapons in single race mode, if you sroll down to line 220 you'll be looking at the odds of Quake being pulled from the weapon pads in phantom speed (yes, if you want to have quake enabled in any other class you have to change the odds in the corresponding class odds, scroll a little bit up). It should look like this. <a b="Quake"> <c g="0" f="0" e="0" d="0"/> </a> Personally I just picked up Plasma odds and slapped it in, so now it's <a b="Quake"> <c g="3" f="0" e="0" d="3"/> </a> NR74W had to disable quake because it was incompatible with Pure tracks inside its version, so remember that you can still pull a quake but when fired nothing will happen in pure tracks Hope it helped!

@@SavingPrivateBob yes indeed, as long as you have the xml file to do so... NR74W left the stats xml for the 4 dlc ships in the iso plus one for assegai, i didn't try creating one from scratch yet, and you just gave me an idea

@@SavingPrivateBob the same place where you got it: while being inside the iso files, navigate to PSP_GAME/USRDIR/Data/Ships/ there you can choose the ship of your liking to boost, once inside look for "handlingstats.xml" and substite it

@@nanid_ after patching the regular wipeout pulse iso with NR74W's mod, when you open the iso you can navigate to PSP_GAME/USRDIR/Data/Ships/Harimau/handlingstats.xml . There you can edit Harimau's stats for each speed class as well as the "far" camera settings called "ExternalCameraFar", have fun tweaking here and there XD Btw, rn i'm using these values: <ExternalCameraFar f="75" lookat_height="15" lookat_length="0.5" pos_height="50" pos_length="-150.0" spring_horiz="0.5" spring_vert="0.05"/> One last thing, ofc this can be made for the "close" external camera aswell, and ofc it will be alright if its any other ship, as long as you have its xml file to edit
