It's crazy how often i see people in co-op randoms that summon me and someone else and just hide in a corner waiting for us to kill the boss... i got no patience for that so when i see it i just drag the boss straight to the host and let it kill them

I wanna say it's kinda like programming the mimic tear in that the LMSH boss will have access to all the player's moves specifically so he can dodge and counter at the best moments - the way IRL LMSH memorizes boss fights

These damn bosses don't hold aggro forever. I'll use my mimic so I can study and heal...but the boss will remember I exist and fly across the map to bury me.
To be fair though, I feel like Messmer has a much higher chance of aggroing onto the host in these situations than Malenia. Simply because of the snake attack which hits multiple times as it can hit the host as well and because Messmer seems way more mobile than Malenia and he moves all over the boss arena while Malenia seems to keep nearby.
@@jonthenamelessproject99 Mesmer's arena is also significantly smaller than Malenia's. In Malenia you can wait at the entrence and watch the fight like an actual audience.

An amazing piece of technical work. I really appreciate seeing someone who's able to maneuver through the absolute storm of attacks that Messmer can throw out. Ended up beating him by just max blasting him with thorn sorcery, so my fight was a lot shorter, but hot damn its amazing seeing a magnificent dodge fest like this.

Dude your videos taught me how to solo Malenia in the past, and thanks to you I was able to solo Malenia for other people. Today I learned how to solo Messmer for the first time after watching this video although he still wrecked me throughout the fight. I have another build I intend to keep outside his boss door once I get started on it so I can use him as a practice partner to get better against like I’ve done with Malenia so far. @@WuddesGD Yup, toughest part of helping people rn is that with the Phase Change + Comet, most hosts do not survive long enough. Many Mage players just don't have the Health to tank, and if R switches to them, its mostly over as most people just start panic dodging.

Dude, you're great, I love you. I recently started playing Elden Ring, at first I didn't understand what was going on, then I more or less started to get the hang of it. The only way to defeat any boss is to not be afraid. If you're afraid, you're doing the wrong rolls, pressing the wrong buttons, replenishing your health not before the boss hits. But if you're not afraid of him, he'll be constantly stunned after your barrage of blows.
