Why the hate for Valya's use of the voice under the stressful situation of helplessly watching her beloved brother drown, when Frank had Teg become the flash while under the extreme stress of being tortured? How did the first reverend mother transmute poison? How many shots do you get when you take a fatal dose of poison? Why is Paul the Kwizsatz Haderach? He was only trained in the way of the Bene Gesserit, this alone would not make someone "The One". I choose to see it as Valya, Teg and Paul illustrating humankind's genetic evolution. Could Valya's voice ability be why Harkonnen's are included in the Bene Gesserit breeding plan? One of humankind's early ancestors had to pick up something and use it as a tool and then teach the rest how to do the same. Did a chimpanzee practice jabbing a stick in a termite mound to eat more efficiently? Or was it an environmental/outside pressure that led to an instantaneous thought/action? I believe the Dune Universe requires the viewer/reader to think more critically than other media. Aren't the Heads of each House (Corrino, Atreides, Harkonnen) members of CHOAM? If so, we do see them in the books. I believe in "Dune Messiah," Scytale requests all of their CHOAM holdings in exchange for creating a Chani ghola. While we don't get to see how the CHOAM bureaucracy functions, we are introduced to actual members. Thanks for the Dune dialog guys!!
