What you said at the end is very true. I main asuka and play against very good players, they know her matchup. She is very hard to play against people who know her marchup. All you can do is wait for them to make a mistake
Yeah, she is both easy when the opponent is mashing and hard when the opponent is turtling. The funny thing is, she is easy not due to character design, but due to online people being mashers 😆
@@friendlykoala true 😂. I don't play online, but for some reason out of 10 games playing with asuka i might use her parry once or twice 😂😂 I don't like her parry so i rarely use it. I love counter hits tho 😍

As an Asuka main this is really helpful. I nail the main parry b1+3, but still can't figure out how to use the other two. And I don't know how to do the ki charge grab.

Yeah the sabaki parries can be tricky to use, but once they get into your muscle memory, they are great!
You can perform the tackle by holding DF after the ki-charge, then press 3+4, 3+4, 1+2.
Then you get many pummel variations, but the best one can be done by simply mashing 1+2 (gives you a free f2 on the ground)

How do those people make it above yellow ranks if they dont know how to react to asuka doing the unblockable lmao, they all mash tech rolls and eat it 5 times in a row and never learn
Honestly it's mostly ranks' inflation from people cherrypicking their opponents 😅
Yeah, even when I play with yellow ranks they hit me out of unblockable. Or stay on the ground.

To be fair, there are also many people aimlessly running at grounded opponents to let these guys keep that habit 😆

Well it only works that way if people are mashers themselves. Against patient players or people who know matchup these strats don't work. As for parry people adapt to it by using elbows or throws, if you spam it. But then again could be regional difference in ranks or skills.
That's what I said at the end. And of course the elbows and knees are the reason why I didn't spam the reversal as much as sabaki parries, because they are more telegraphed 😅
@@friendlykoala I was just asking if European server is mostly mashers in those ranks. Generally in Asian server people begin punishing those stuff even in lower ranks in PC(say Yellow to Orange ranks) , people have atleast basic matchup knowledge of Asuka. But then again there are tons of account resetters.

@@ragnarok7452 I'm playing on PSN, so there's a slight difference with PC, of about 2 ranks I believe (PC Fujin is about as good as PSN Yaksa). But there's not that much difference between regions. There was a banter between Europeans and Americans back then, about which region is the strongest but that died down as soon as it became possible to play cross-continent. Turned out, online people are just online people regardless of the region lol
Also, my videos are highlighting stupid moments, which clearly makes us look worse than we actually are. Of course you can't spam stuff for free xD
You can see some stuff from JDCR (Asia) or Bralwpro (America) playing stupid in purple/blue ranks, let's say I'm just more specialized in that kind of stupid play lol

You can parry it, or techroll only as a reaction to the spin cancel (or generally be careful in oki situations), but it's hard to do online 😅
@@friendlykoala oh thanks, I belive you are refering to the sweep, right? i mean the one that can be an unblockable, I'm not sure what the command is, I believe it is her f3. It seems like if you stay grounded she can cancel the spins and do the pickup punt kick and if you get up you get hit with an unblockable. Is there a way to deal with that or just hope the asuka uses the wrong option
@@caCOOLdemon yeah that's what I was talking about. Do not techroll unless you see her cancel the f3 at the first spin
They could obviously do a reset without the f3 feint, but at least you won't fall for the feint into reset
