Asuka kazama is more like a defensive character, she waits patiently until an opening reveals itself then you are dead. Her backflip ALWAYS catches people off guard while they are punching

Honestly Asuka is like Paul in that she’s easier to deal with when you have experience with her moves. She doesn’t guard break like Jack, but she also doesn’t get into stances like other characters do. For Jack players like me who rely on punching through stances, she is way too difficult to deal with. Especially once I lose the initiative and have to go on defence. But to counterpoint that, Tekken 8 has Heat and using it right can get you to take the initiative from her at least once. If you let an Asuka player beat you out of your initiative then expect to lose.
I never played Jun before than tried her a little bit in Cnt , can someone explaine to me what kind of character she is until nov to have already for now a little bit more information to play her in t8. So for you could start with what archetype she is

That Jack player put too much skill into the wrong areas. If you aren’t using his cannon arm and other moves to disrupt enemy timing, then you are using him wrong. Side-stepping is also useless because of how big he is. Forward 1-1 usually works as most his punishment tool, but not for chasing. Though I guess he was more outclassed than making mistakes since I too struggle with Asuka as an opponent. Her moves in T7 were just too strong and spammable.
