Frederique Constant and Girard Pierregot. They are the best Maisons of these years. And the fact that they don't become mass-market is a surplus that allows you to have a product that could cost 15k at 3-4(F.C.) or one that costs 30k at 10(GP).
Honestly I think it's because there secondary market value drops off so much, it's the same with Ball Watches. Buy a new watch and try to resell it in a couple years when you move onto something else and your getting 1/3 of the price.
I think drop in secondary can be said for most entry level luxury watches, such as Longines, Hamilton, Tissot, Tag, and Ball, etc. At least these brands have long history but FC dont have that. I put FC (founded in 1980s) in same category as Raymond Weil (founded in 1970s). Probably another nail in the coffin is that FC has been bought by Citizens in 2016. So i would personally stay away from buying an FC watch
From all the Panda Dials out there it looks the least like the PRX chrono. The PRX is way chunkier and more angular while on the FC there is not one flat surface
I had the chance to wear this watch (not the chrono version) and the finishing are fascinating . When I compare this watch to the tag heuer aqua 5 it’s pretty the same, but with a difference of 2000$. So HOW this High Life can still be underrated ??
I bought this Chronograph. I already had a speedmaster and a Daytona. This has its own vibe.
It's like there is a evil conspiracy against FC by other Swiss brands. FC made like 90% of those swiss brands looks so bad, that's why.
The high life is a beautiful watch. The grey dial variant is a beautiful piece.

I agree with you… I’ve owned a couple and it’s very impressive what you get for your money.
Frederique Constant
What brand is this ? could not read the name on the dial....
Frederique constant
people saying it's like the prx chrono but I feel it has too many differences
They both have integrated bracelet designs, but in my opinion the PRX looks much simpler and cheaper in detail than the FC
FC gets unnecessary hate from some snobs in the watch community, it makes no sense.

A bit too similar to the Bulova Lunar Pilot
Looks identical to my ESQ...
What's the name of this watch
Federique constant high life chronograph
That’s a lot for what looks like a PRX chrono homage

That dial looks filthy under that crystal

This looks identical to the tissot prx chronograph..
Looks like the dial has a lot of imperfections
The quartz is bad
it's mechanical
