Prison should be a place for rehabilitation where people learn how to be a better person in the society. The way prison system treat these people are disgusting, people aren't gonna be better when u treat them like a garbage

And when you have kids at home and no job. You would do anything to put food on the table.
Crazy you gotta do all that just to get basic needs met. a lot of inhumane things goes on in these jails/prisons that the outside world needs to be more aware of.

Also many people in jail are either on minor drug charges or awaiting trial meaning that in some cases they didn't do any crime but still had to do the time.

After vice tried to get me to sympathize with the inmate that cut an unborn baby out of a womans belly, the only way I could interpret this was a roadtrip for crazy serial killers too afraid to piss on the ground.
What was it like?
I didnt feel like that documentary was meant to have me sympathise on that woman, did you? I mean they wanted to hear her talking about it and how she saw it, but that is actually a good thing to do as a journalist. They didnt downplay the acts committed or made me feel bad for her or anything, they just let the victims and attackers both speak, to have as much perspective and a full story from all sides, coming over neutral and unbiased in my opinion. What makes you say that they wanted to have you sympathise with that lady?

I was in and out of prison from 14 to 21 then years of parole on top.
People like you also need to learn that there's consequences for doing the wrong thing. I think trying to evacuate a prison from a fire is a kind act. It's not like they do it often .I know transit is never nice anyway. It's hot it stinks and there's usually no room. once got moved after sentence from one end of a state to another in out back Australia. It's prison or just jail here but it's the same thing........

This is a not really a story that needs major reporting. An evacuation wasn’t super smooth people got pissed things were fixed promptly.
I remember how impressive Vice reporting was once upon a time. Trash like everything else these days. Shame.
