Well, assuming that the "Emperor was created by the soul-fusion of all the shamans of ancient Earth" origin story, there does exist a possibility that some of those component personalities would have come to disagree with the way the Emperor was doing things, but were still loyal to the greater plan, or simply believed that it would be better to compartmentalize some of the Emperor's collective talents and abilities into multiple bodies as so to get more work done faster, so the Emperor shunted those parts of him and created a new being that would become Malcador, to focus on stuff that the Emperor himself was too busy to.

The End and the Death Part 1:
‘I can feel his focus. And his pain,’ Vulkan murmurs. I can feel his cells dying, one by one, he thinks.
‘And his sadness,’ says Dorn quietly.
‘It’s not his sadness, brother,’ says Sanguinius. He glances at their father, silent at their side. ‘It’s yours, isn’t it?’
The Master of Mankind makes no reply. Is he overwhelmed with love for his old friend, with speechless admiration at the scale of the Regent’s sacrifice? He is only human, after all, and the sensation is coming from somewhere.
Valdor turns away, grim. Another last survival of the Long Yesterday has passed from the world, leaving precious few remaining. ‘We must begin,’ he says.
Vulkan shakes his head wearily. His resolve is granite-hard, for he understands more than any of them what this signifies.
      ‘The Sigillite-’ he begins.
+The Hero,+ a voice corrects him gently. Vulkan looks at his father, eyes narrowing at the radiance of his aspect. He nods.

Here is a Interesting question what if It was a heresy never happened but all the Empire's sons Rebelled against him
How do you think this civil war would play out

    • @fadelsukoco3092
      @fadelsukoco3092 24 дні тому

      Part 1
The Primarchs would win the civil war due to simple numbers and logistics, and likely they would overall collaborate with each other on a macro-scale but conduct their own separate campaigns and objectives the way they each saw fit, which might lead to some infighting, but definitely less so than the Heresy caused.
Lorgar would still most likely fall to Chaos (assuming this happens post-Monarchia, around the same time the Heresy started), but the influence would be significantly lessened due to the Primarchs and Astartes likely fighting the rebellion under the cause of "since we fought and bled the hardest to earn control of the Galaxy for the Imperium, we should be the ones ruling it" instead of any Chaos-aligned goals, though a few legions might still fall.
Horus would take over the position of Emperor, but have the other Primarchs as an advisory council similar to an expanded equivalent of the Mournival, and they would run things in a more Federation-like manner between their forces.
The main opposition to the Astartes coup would be all the human factions that have more of a reason to ally with the Emperor rather than the Primarchs. The Mechanicum can be bought off by promising freedom of research and archeotech that the Emperor hid from them, and the Navigator Houses would be kept around as they are necessary for Warp Travel (and if they need to be culled if and when the Webway Project continues and possibly completes, well, Alpha Legion infiltration, Raven Guard decapitation strikes and Iron Hands reverse-engineered Necron null-tech forces are there). Additionally, lots of Imperial worlds were brought into the Imperium or conquered/liberated by the Legions, not the Emperor's personal forces, so their view of the Imperium would be more closely tied to the Astartes, though that still leaves a lot of worlds, member cultures and forces that are loyal to the Emperor for one reason or another. The Custodes can be overwhelmed by sheer numbers and the various legions working together effectively, the Assassinorum can probably be seized using the Alpha Legion, but that still leaves all the rest of the mortal human governments and forces.
The alliegance of the Imperial Army (Guard and Navy) would be of utmost concern, as even if all the Legions worked together and played their cards right, the enemy having more Guardsmen than the Astartes have bolter rounds and more warships than there are Legionnaires is a very bad situation, and the more humans they need to kill to win the war and take power over the Imperium, the more unrest and opposition they will need to deal with post-rebellion. The best way to do this is to try and slowly, gradually wean off loyalty and faith in the Emperor by the common Man, and give them something else to put their faith into. They could argue that the Astartes have a closer connection to the common people, being derived from recruits from all across the galaxy and working the most closely with many Imperial Army regiments and fleets. Convince them that the Primarchs and Astartes are the most worthy to lead Humanity since they sacrificed the most for it. And if the masses need something to worship, then maybe place Sanguinius as their idol, he is pretty much a representation of the absolute ideal of human virtue after all.
However, some forces will be unable to be convinced. Take for example the Solar Auxilia, the elite of the Imperial Army, who, at the time the Heresy started, composed approximately a quarter of the entire Army. They are better trained and better equipped than normal Army troopers, and almost ALL of them stayed loyalist during the Heresy, with the only named exceptions being those regiments directly recruited from Cthonia itself. It's likely that in this hypothetical all the legions uniting would lead to more of the Solars being convinced to join them if such reputable legions as the Blood Angels and Ultramarines were rebelling as well, but I'd wager a vast majority of them would still remain loyal to the Emperor.
Likewise, large portions of the Imperium would be told by the Emperor-loyalists that they would be fighting for an Imperium ruled BY the people, FOR the people, and that the Emperor served Humanity first and foremost, and that the Astartes were never meant to lord over mortal men and women. Regardless of the outcome, the propaganda war would be as fierce as the overt one.
After a fierce and brutal war in which a higher-quality force of the Astartes-led, Mechanicum-backed revolutionaries defeated the numerically-superior loyalist mortal and Mechancium-loyalist forces of the Emperor, with some Chaos and Xenos interference here and there, the Imperium would be left in a weakened, though recoverable and much better state than it was in Canon, with likely almost all of the Primarchs surviving and legions remaining as cohesive fighting forces. Chaos would have less of a foothold in the timeline's future as their attempt to corrupt Horus would either not happen, with Horus not fighting the Anathame-wilding Nurgle governor on Davin or believing Magnus over Erebus in his coma and thus being cured by Magnus' sorcery, which would in turn give Magnus a reason to not warn the Empror about Horus' treason but instead possibly lead him to inform the rest of the legions about what he knew about Chaos to better protect themselves against it.
In this series of events, Magnus would not break the Emperor's wards around the Webway Project, meaning that the Emperor would not need to constantly sit on the Golden Throne to prevent the Imperial Webway and Terra from being overrun by daemons and the Webway project would be much better off along, and thus be able to personally fight on the front and lead his loyalist forces. And considering how much of a control freak the Emperor was, he might authorize the Custodes to unleash some of the forbidden tech and things in the Imperial -SCP site- Dark Cells of Terra and maybe even the Void Dragon on Mars, considering he unleashed it in some capacity to help the Dark Angels defeat the existential galactic threat of the Rangdan. Though in that case, the Eldar would definitely be on the side of the Astartes, because ain't no way an almost-full C'tan running around is good for ANYONE. The Emperor might also draw upon more and more power from the Warp like he did during The End and The Death books where he almost ascended to become the 5th Chaos God, something that was only narrowly stopped by some Talk No Jutsu on the part of Loken and Ollanius, I think. However, in this timeline, where ALL the Astartes and likely a good part of the Imperium as well rebels, the Emperor might just be tempted to go that last bit of the way and become a full Warp God.
If that happens, things might become even more fucked than they are in canon, with a new Eye of Terra becoming a thing and Emperor daemons bothering everyone in addition to the normal Chaos daemons, though they would likely fight amongst each other more.

    • @fadelsukoco3092
      @fadelsukoco3092 24 дні тому

      Part 2
If that doesn't happen though, and the Emperor is defeated without Chaos being able to fully capitalize on his death due to the rebel Astartes forces figuring out that the Emperor is utterly crucial to keeping the Webway open and stable as well as needed alive to keep the Astronomicon alight, this is what would happen:
Horus and some of the other primarchs best-suited to accompany him for their combat power, who would not be better used commanding forces elsewhere, would gang up on the Emperor in a climactic final bossfight. Some of the Primarchs might die here, because without the boosts of all 4 of the Chaos Gods backing him up, Horus has no chance of overpowering a peak-level Emperor who himself is drinking the Warp cool-aid to almost reach Godhood, but I think in this situation the Emperor would hold back due to not being able to kill all of his sons when they aren't even corrupted by Chaos, and Horus would use that to his advantage. He might also have an Anathame keyed against the Emperor that, oh, I don't know, Eldrad or Grammaticus or someone in the know who isn't corrupted might have told him how to properly use. After the fight, the Emperor would be defeated but not killed, as that would only benefit the Ruinous Powers and not serve the goals of the rebellion. The Emperor would be connected to the Golden Throne permanently under the guard of the best of the Astartes and Primarch-led Admech units, likely with blackstone xenotech reverse-engineered by the Iron Hands to help them resist the psychic influence of the Emperor. Maybe Horus and his brothers would even force the Emperor to use his psychic prowess to resurrect the Primarchs who have died during the war.
Assuming that in one way or another, the Primarchs survived, this is what they and their legions would do:
The Lion is rather interesting, as he has been explicitly described as being completely and unshakably loyal to the Emperor, to the extent that even Fateweaver himself looked into the Lion's mind and found literally NOTHING that he could use to turn him against the Emperor. The Emperor also knew this, trusting the Lion with all the cool forbidden DAOT relics. This also applies to at least the Terran part of the 1st Legion. That being said, Luther was apparently on amicable terms with either Kor Phaeron or Erebus and allowed the Word Bearers to send their chaplains over to help the DA ease their librarians post Nikaea back into the normal rank and file, and the Fallen were a thing.
The best way I see this happening is that knowing how ridiculously powerful the DA were, Horus would try to figure out how to push the DA as far away from Terra as possible like he did in Canon, until one of his agents, be that Word Bearer or Alpha Legion, figures out the growing rift between the Lion and Luther and their respective forces in the Legion. From there, Horus would try to subtly guide the legion into coming around to the idea of taking control of the Imperium for themselves, wording it carefully so that the DA believe that they are still serving Humanity and the Imperium, just that they could do it even better if the Emperor were no longer in power. Horus would also likely negotiate for the independence of Caliban from the Imperium for Luther and his people, and keep them around as an ally like the Mechanicum.
Assuming that this actually works and the other legions don't need to fight the loyalist DA and all their OP shit to the death, the 1st Legion would be arguably THE most powerful legion of Astartes around, at least in terms of conventional warfare, due to their special tech access, experience and longevity as a legion, and the fact that they have subdivisions that can let them do the jobs of most other legions. In the post-rebellion galaxy, they would serve as the new Imperium's ultimate sanction against anything they need EXTRA dead, working alongside legions like the Space Wolves and Death Guard.
Fulgrim and the Emperor's Children might still fall to Slaanesh due to the trajectory of the legion and the influence of the Laer Blade, and the corruption of the legion and that of the Word Bearers would wake up the rest of the Imperium as to the dangers of Chaos without needing to lose half of everything in the process. Some EC might still be loyal and for the core of a new replacement legion, under strict watch of Imperial agents to make sure the fuckup doesn't happen again.
The Iron Warriors would continue to do their siege roles, but would expand into developing technology and building infrastructure for the Imperium, as one of Perturabo's greatest desires was to be a builder and not just a destroyer. They also might build a defensive containment ring around the Eye of Terror since Perty was constantly bothered by the thing 24-7. Maybe He would be able to reverse-engineer the Necron Pylons and greatly contribute to the Imperium's ability to deal with the Warp since one of Perty's abilities was to instantly understand any piece of technology he saw, something that annoyed him as he would never be able to experience the joys of actually learning or discovering things.
The White Scars would likely try to declare a degree of independence from the Imperium, operating as a tightly-allied but still sovereign power like the Mechanicum was during the Crusade-era. The Khan hated tyranny and just wanted to be free to explore and hunt the monsters of the unknown, so the Scars would likely operate in nomadic fleets helping around when available but mostly keeping to themselves and maybe exploring the galaxy beyond the Astronomicon. Though Horus and the others might still keep the Khan around on speed dial when they aren't sure if something is too tyrannical or not.
They might also be the first strong proponents of continuing the Emperor's Webway project as it would allow them to eventually directly invade Commorragh, due to their hatred of the Dark Eldar.

    • @fadelsukoco3092
      @fadelsukoco3092 24 дні тому

      Part 3
The Space Wolves would likely continue to serve their role as the Imperium's executioners, and be sent out to discipline any legion or rogue groups of Astartes that strayed too far or did something a bit too spicy, except they would take orders from Horus instead of the Emperor. They'd be part of the force to make sure that another Astartes rebellion doesn't happen if diplomacy goes sour between the Legions. They would also likely expand their culture from Fenris and onto similar worlds and maybe use their rune shamanism to help the other legions better control their psykic powers, seeing their way as an alternative to the Warp even if it's the same thing under a different name.
The Imperial Fists would in all likelihood keep doing what they are doing, enforcing stability and order across the Imperium by making and improving on garrisons and defensive networks. Dorn could return to Inwit every so often and connect more with the people, and maybe continue to expand and upgrade the Phalanx with things and tech he got across the Crusade and future campaigns.
The Night Lords would still be doing what they always do, with the other legions maybe having to work together and put them down after they have outlived their usefulness and keep needlessly slaughtering Imperial citizens. Curze would completely lose it since his prophecies of the Heresy didn't come true, and he could either be counseled and treated back to relative functionality by Sanguinius and Magnus or be put out of his misery. Though again, like the EC, they might be reformed in some capacity into a new legion that actually operates on the original principles of the Legion, that being to be a terror weapon used when appropriate and to administer and inspire justice, likely led by Sevatar.
Speaking of Sanguinius and Magnus, they would both have major issues to deal with, as the Red Thirst would continue to spread across the Blood Angels and eventually become known one way or another to the wider Imperium, and they would be under a lot of pressure to fix it or else, though likely they wouldn't be purged like Sanguinius worried the Emperor might have done to them since Horus would be in control and they were best buds. Likely the tainted amongst the BA would be sent out to meet a glorious end in battle and the rest of the legion continue, albeit with the uncomfortable realization that they will probable one day fall. Sanguinius himself, regardless of the fate of the 9th, would continue to be idolized as the best Primarch by the common people. Horus would likely put Sanguinius not only as a symbolic leader of the new Imperium as an idol, but consult with him the most on things due to their close bond and the Angel's abilities of foresight.
With the Iron Hands, they would continue to improve the technological capabilities of the Imperium alongside other legions like the Iron Warriors, and become the foremost experts in both archeotech and Necron tech, once they find it and figure out it's made of the same stuff that their Primarch's arms are. Speaking of Ferrus, there's a quote of him saying that after the Crusade, he would try to stop his sons from fetishizing and cybermaxxing too hard and learn that flesh has its place in things and shouldn't be callously discarded. He would also try to remove the Necrodermis from his arms, but otherwise continue to improve tech. They would also be the closest to the Mechanicum and negotiate their place in the new Primarch-led Imperium, likely retaining a lot more independence than they did in the canon.

      Part 4
The World Eaters would likely continue to be bloodthirsty barbarians and continue to degrade from the massed usage of the Butcher's Nails until they completely lost it, though other legions would try to help them in the best ways that they could before that point. Angron would spend the rebellion targeting anything he saw as tyranny and oppression in the Imperium, likely alongside the Death Guard due to their histories, go and pillage Nuceria then reminisce on the past and mourn the loss of his mortal Gladiator kin, then try to die in a blaze of glory and finally get release from the constant pain of the Nails and to die a free man. The rest of the legion might go the same way if other legions don't find a way to cure the Nails in time.
The Ultramarines would likely be one of the most active legions both during and after the rebellion, using their expertise at statecraft, politics and logistics to make sure everything in t he Imperium is operating at the best level it can. The Post-rebellion Imperium would be an Astartes-run one, and the Ultramarines would try to get the Astartes as a whole to at least try and be better leaders and administrators for the people they rule over. Overall, they would be one of the most involved with civil and general Imperial affairs beyond combat and expansion. Guilliman himself has stated that post-Crusade, he would want to retire and live a quiet, relaxing life as a farmer (on likely the most heavily-defended Agri-world in the Segmentum), confident in his legion's ability to be competent on their own. Though it's likely that Horus and the Primarch council would have him on speed dial in case of emergencies in which is political and organizational acumen were deemed as justified.
The Death Guard would continue to act as one of the destruction legions alongside the Space Wolves and Dark Angels, and they would specialize in combatting psychic threats and crushing psychic uprisings and corruption, as well as being experts in extreme environments and bio-warfare. They would be one of the most effective forces against the Tyranids if this new Imperium lasts that long. They likely wouldn't be corrupted by Nurgle due to there not being any setup for the situation that led Typhus to be able to kill off all the navigators and lead their legion fleet straight into Nurgle's embrace, but who knows, that might still happen during the Rebellion and eventually the other legions would have to purge the Death Guard and maybe make a new legion from their geneseed reserves on Terra. Unlikely though, as uncorrupted Mortarion absolutely HATED the Warp, so likely wouldn't sign off on Typhus' plan.
Concerning Magnus and the Thousand Sons, they would continue to dabble in Warp sorceries and forbidden lore until they fuck around with something beyond their ability to fix, which might get them corrupted by Tzeentch or just tainted and mutated and needing to be put down by the other legions (likely the Space Wolves and Death Guard). Though before that happens, they would at least expand the Imperium's understanding of the Warp and how to effectively use psychic powers by quite a bit, and might even learn how to better deal with Chaos and found the equivalent of the Grey Knights, either on their own or by finding the plans for the replacement legion that the Emperor was planning for Magnus and using those to supplement the existing Legion. They and the Blood Angels would be the most eager to ransack the Emperor's secret vaults of tech and artifacts to cure their respective gene-flaws.
The Sons of Horus would become the most politically powerful of the legions and take center stage in both the rebellion and new Imperium, being the self-styled liberators of the galaxy from the Emperor's Tyranny and uniter of the legions and humanity. Horus would rule as the new Emperor with the Primarchs and Mechancium and other allied representatives as a counsel or cabinet, as explained earlier. The 16th also had the most conquests and victories during the Crusade, and Horus was the most not only overall respected, but personable and charismatic of the Primarchs. He would direct the Imperium into being an Astartes-first civilization, though would still try to benefit the greater whole of Humanity when able considering his character pre-Chaos. He would also be right there alongside Sanguinius and Magnus in looking through all of the secret shit that the Emperor hid from the Primarchs, considering that the implication that the Emperor didn't trust him with the reason for his abrupt leave from the Crusade was one of the biggest reasons that he turned traitor to begin with. Horus knew best how to use his brothers in the roles where their talents would bring about the optimal outcomes, so he would be busy managing the macro-scale efforts of the Imperium and checking up on the others to make sure they're doing what they're supposed to and dealing with any situations that come up. Horus would essentially be what Guilliman is in the current canon timeline, just with more political power.
I already went through what the Word Bearers would likely do, that being still fall to Chaos, and maybe through the Lodge system drag portions of the other legions along with them into the mess and have a smaller Chaos Heresy.

      Part 5
The Salamanders would serve to gain popular and civilian support during the rebellion, and in the new Imperium, they would be the ones looking out for the common people, acting as the voice of reason to regulate the ore extreme decisions of Horus and the other Primarchs, likely alongside the Ultramarines and Raven Guard. I think a good portion of them would choose to retire after the galaxy had stabilized and return to their families on Nocturne and other worlds they were recruited from, but for those who still wanted to be active in the galaxy, they could help improve the Imperium's tech standards and also spread the tenets of the Promethean Creed to the general populace. If the new Imperium decides to continue the Webway project, they would definitely use it to invade Commorragh.
The Raven Guard would continue their campaigns until they deem that all of humanity across the galaxy is liberated from xenos or tyrannical rule. They would also work to raise civilian support for the new order, and work with the Salamanders to make sure that the new Astartes-ruled Imperium don't become the tyrants that they fought to destroy. They would likely also work to keep civil order and prevent unjust rebellions or secession from the Imperium, and mediate between parties on worlds where they do see the unrest as having understandable motives.
The Alpha Legion would spend the rebellion being all over the place, with some of them being on both sides or doing completely unrelated things. Overall, though, they would believe that following Horus and the legions would be a better outcome for Humanity, which they believe would be the Emperor's ultimate end goal, so, in their minds, they're technically still following the wishes of the Emperor. They would be closely tied to the Assassinorum, Inquisition-equivalent, and Deathwatch of the new imperium, having infiltrators in every legion to make sure that none of them do anything too spicy, acting as Horus' secret informants and a method of leverage in case things turn sour.
Overall, I think that such an Imperium would definitely be in a better place than the one in Canon, since Chaos didn't ruin almost all prospects of future progress and traumatize humanity into a regressive, self-destructive state of hatred and ignorance as well as losing half their military and severely handicapping the remaining half out of fear of another rebellion.
The Astartes-led new Imperium under Horus would not have such crippling drawbacks as severely limiting the research of the Mechanicum, which would be free to pursue more of their own goals and would have the help of technically-inclined Primarchs like Ferrus, Perturabo and Vulkan, the breaking of the legions into chapters with their own operational freedoms and military powers restricted (instead the legions will live on and grow larger, though be spread out in smaller formations across the galaxy), and the separation of the Imperial Army into the Navy and Guard, which means that this Imperium would have their standard mortal forces be capable of effective combined-arms warfare, though likely with Astartes officers and Alpha Legion infiltrators/sleeper agents to keep them from rebelling on their own. The Imperium would not benefit from the fanatical faith of the canon Imperium and its ability to subtly influence the Warp through collective will and increase resistance against Chaotic corruption, but it would have superior technology, a much more cohesive military, a more enlightened and efficient populace and eventually a working Webway system, which they would likely spend the next few millennia expanding and conquering so that they can unify and streamline the Imperium even more.

A few little fun facts about Malcador that few knew about, even the big guy, err The Emperor 😯 On Tuesdays, Valdor aka "Goldie aka Goldern Krieg Scout aka The Flying Custodes aka...these guys always have a million nicknames)", Hank from IT
& Malcador aka "Psycho Mac and "Sigster", played in several
3 🏀N 3 Basketball leagues. And PreHeresy, Mortarion, when visiting dad, would come off the bench. The Sigillite ran the point, shot lights out from beyond the arch, but was best known for his arcane ability to find an open teammate, almost like he could read his opponents minds...
