I am looking for such a TV for my outdoor kitchen and the price makes it pretty enticing. I have read some other reviews and one feature that has me a bit concerned is that it was stated that there is an auto bright feature that will automatically adjust the brightness but that you cannot disable this feature. The comment was this could be problematic at night when there is no sun that you may not like where the TV finds its baseline brightness and you can't adjust. Can you confirm, deny or investigate that by any chance? Thanks for your video and your efforts!
You are right, this is a device for a very particular market, i feel it's more for restaurants and stores with outdoors exposure or something like that than a house thing.
The brightness on this is crazy! My 4k LG monitor does 350 and that's plenty bright for me indoors. You mentioned towards the end that removing it for storage is just a couple of screws. Is that really all or is there some form of security to lock it into the mount? With it being outdoors, most likely at a tavern, I see this growing legs no later than the 2nd night after installation. GR, AA =)
@@MakeUseOf -- Hmm. Not offering some sort of security package seems like a missed opportunity to me. I'm sure there won't be a lack of "aftermarket" invented by owners of these, lol. I see welding in some of their futures.
I wouldn't recommend this 24/7 for digital signage, no, and while the foam at the bottom that protects the ports is good for what it is, putting it portrait would definitely allow water to be blown in there through small gaps. Sorry!
Is this the 2k brightness or 1k?
what is stopping someone nicking it? just 2 screws..

So if I am playing fifa on it there might be a lag?

Just two screws then lift off, but I imagine you could secure it with some chains or similar.

Thank you for the video. Can it run 24/7 and also in Portrait?
