I would like to say something;
1st,Gigi can sing all this songs as like the original songs, but her musical director says NO coz they want it to be interesting. I mean Filipinos loves songs like BETTER DAYS and how she can all make us all sob if she went with the original version. But instead her musical director gives us something that conveys the song meaning and putting their own touch to it. SO a big shout out to her band and to her musical director.
2nd, Gigi's tone and her voice clarity. How you can hear every word and express each one of it even in rap part or fast part. plus the level of comfort while making it. I know that western people loves beats and composition of songs but Filipinos love lyrics and meaning of songs that is why we love songs in the 80's and 90's that even in this young generation they are aware and knows how to sing it because songs like those are every where, radios, television, malls etc
Gigi sings Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and many, many more. Jumps from one era to another, from the classic to the most recent haha 😂 She does it all! You gotta love the girl for her versatility. Her voice has different flavors and texture. React to her Butterfly cover by Mariah. Gigi also has her own album of original songs composed by her and the band, its a self-titled album. But for now, you do her covers first haha... Gigi is more known and well-loved for her covers because that is where she started before she became the famous singer that she is now. She is now an artist under a label and a talent management. Gigi is also an actress and professional dancer. Currently, she's busy touring the Philippines performing live and she also does concerts internationally. If I'm not mistaken, she'll be in the US on April? She's multi-talented guys.

Gigi is doing this live singing and does covers in YT and people donate.That's how she and her band earn. Gigi said she did this to support the medication of her mother who has cancer.
Gigi is Also lucky to have the GGVIBES band who supports her and love and respect her talent and plus also her partner who is professional vocalist and am almost sure they both work together in her choices of covers and techniques, arrangements
He just stays in the background and he does all the technical parts in the studio but most of all he’s always with Gigi if he doesn’t have commitments of his own

Dang it! I missed this. Was getting my kids ready for school. But nonetheless, I'm so happy you got to experience these songs from Gigi. Wooooo!!! This is the best cover of "Unholy" because it captures the 90s goth rock-esque. Very reminiscent of Marilyn Manson type of genre but I love how you referenced the The Tea Party because YES! Good old Canadian band right there. I love that you guys are geeking out over Gigi and how she does her THANG! As always and can't be forgotten, Gigi Vibes just absolutely rock!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘 Happy that you did all three because it shows you how versatile she is and that she is a chameleon because she can pull out the nuances that suits her voice but also suits the song. So we can never say a singer is best vocalist because its subjective and personal preference. But Facts > knowledge and execution of vocal techniques none can compare to Gigi. Singing articulation of words top notch. You can understan each word of the lyric even if you are hearing the song for the first time.

This band's cover of Avril Lavigne's Im with you, Kenny Loggin's heart to heart and Decode by Paramore, hopelessly devoted to you, are some of my all time favorites.

I've enjoyed music my entire 7 decades of listening to great female voices (Patty Page, Eydie Gorme, Barbra Streisand, Karen Carpenter and so on... I really enjoy the tonal quality of Morissette and Gigi; both are great but I lean more towards a gentler tone of Morissette. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Gigi and her band immensely they look like they truly enjoy what they are doing and have fun doing it!! I've watch a few of your Dimash's performances, unique voice and crazy 6 - 7 octave range but not my cup of tea. Missing from your list of performers is Lara Fabian who happens to be Dimash's muse. Born to a Belgium father and Sicilian mother. She moved to Canada when she was 20 and became a citizen and kept her Belgium citizenship as well. Lara is a Belgian and Canadian singer and songwriter. She has sold over 20 million records worldwide as of 2021 and is one of the best-selling Belgian artists of all time. She sings in 12 languages and speaks fluently in 4 or 5. When this came out I also played the whole track over and over again in a month until I was satisfied already and now I only listen to it once in a while. You are not alone.... I really loved this cover and yes this is more meaningful than the original. it is a more fitting approach.
