In another video Alex talked about tempo when I did that I gained distance and am more in sync. This video fortified it. Alex what I'd love to see is a video on putting, how to read the greens and manage speed. Thanks always to the no1 coach on UA-cam!

Great video as always, I have to keep reminding myself of tempo, as soon as I try to force or hit the ball I loose distance and control, playing tomorrow will try this in my pre shot routine, hopefully it helps.
Listened to an On The Mark podcast with Shawn Clement where he mentions thinking of building momentum like a wrecking ball and throwing the club at the target in the distance. Before my last round this was my swing thought and id the hover above the ball move you did here and it felt incredible!

Great tip. My question when you are swinging, are you focusing on the intermediate point or the end point where the ball will land.

First ball =209 best ball = 232, so that's 23 yards further 😉 but we get the the point.
I've told my mate so often, stop trying to rip the skin off it and you'll hit it further, sure enough, he not only hits it further, but more accurate too.

Alex, if a person is using hybrid irons, like Lazarus or Eleven’s, do you try to sweep them all, or do you hit down on the ball trying to compress the ball. Sorry if you covered this when you reviewed the hybrids, but I don’t remember it, if you did.

Oh me too only do it occasionally but it does spoil your round
I try to do this and it works , my only issue is I can’t go back as far as you just about half way at max so i’m
losing 50 yards

This is so true you only have to watch the Korean female pro to justify this. The majority are super slim but yet hit the ball miles. It is all about tempo and getting the swing in sync. You then look at the average male club golfer who stands on the tee with driver in hand and tempo goes out of the window they try and murder the ball and wonder why they hit it so far off line. It is speed correctly applied that gets you the distance not raw power.
