I agree, along with the latent ability. The biggest set back in Octo 1 was every character felt the same, and when grinding each character for the final final battle...was just gross.
Just wanted to throw out there, Throné's Veil of Darkness isn't just a dodge for herself, it makes every enemy miss their next physical attack. It's utterly bonkers for dodging big hits. Less effective on multi hits, though, as only the first hit misses.
Yeah I used veil of darkness to cheese against so many bosses that I had no right to beat. The fact that it also stacks and lasts indefinitely until the enemy uses a physical attack is also pretty insane. Being able continuously stack it on even a broken enemy to make them miss all their attacks before you break them again just makes some fights trivial.
@@seven_8434 That skill was one of the reasons why I got to completely obliterate Mother, she just stopped being able to attack until the final phase, and by then it didn't take much to bring her down
Advanced Jobs are the worst feature because you have to fight a literall Boss who's stronger even when your leveled higher and with better gear. It's like they say no to your skill and spam Overpowered moves.
It's too bad Ochette can't use her provoke beasts on beasts that require full boost to use like Tera and Glacis or the mini bosses. I literally only have monsters that require full boost on her so I can only use Acta and Mahina with it right now. There are some monsters with like 3-5 multi hit attacks though so being able to get like literally 30 hits on an enemy on max boost and at least 9 even unboosted seems pretty insane.
It's probably late, but Ochette can use mini-bosses in "Provoke beasts" via glitch. To abuse it, you need 48 SP, full latent power and 3 BP. Full Boost -> Provoke beasts menu selection -> Latent power right here -> Exit latent power - > go to her usual Beasts provoke menu = you have 6 beasts to provoke and can spam Dreadwolf 6 times.
@@DaughterofCorvo yeah I've seen it. It's pretty crazy but provoke beasts is already really good for breaking even without the glitch. Though now you can get 6 Dreadwolves which is pretty crazy.
I guess you're naming EX skills in order they're on the skill list and not in order they're available. Without completing any final chapter EX skills available are: Ochette: Indominable Beast Castii: Drastic Measures Throne: Veil of Darkness Osvald: Teach Partitio: Negotiate Schedule Agnea: Windy Refrain Temenos: Prayer for Plenty Hikari: Ultimate Stance (I just noticed you talked about Hikari's other ultimate skill first and I was confused because I didn't unlock it, similiar difference is with Castii)
Remedy gives random augments, including Divine ones. Why this is broken is that if you can set up Sealticge's Seduction + Seal of Eternity and then use Remedy. Any augments Castti gets when using Remedy will be passed onto the rest of the team.
Throne first ex: make the target miss next attack, not make her dodge next attack. It matters because if the target uses an AOE attack, it'll miss everyone. And if there's multiple enemies, they will all miss one attack. Disguise: use a turn (and/or some bp) to turn into a weaker version of an ally. You don't copy stats, you don't copy passive skills, you don't copy talents. How exactly is this busted lol? Even if it doesn't use up a turn and is free to cast, you're still just a worse version of whoever you target, it's literally guaranteed your throne will be less useful than at least one of your party member.
Great video! Ochette is one of my favorite characters. I’d like to know if there’s a way to increase the monsters damage pass the 9.999. I’m using the warrior skill that surpass this limitation but still my Light Revenant only tops at 9.999. I don’t know what I’m missing. 😢
Scrolling through comments to see if anyone else spotted any issues before I did. Throne veil of darkness guaranteed evasion being a debuff on the target was spotted, but the Partitio EX skills are backwards. Negotiate schedule is the 1st skill as its the one that comes from the shrine
The odd thing is that the game itself is inconsistent with putting the shrine skills first in the list. Most characters do have shrine first listed, but a few don't.
We all need drugs to get stronger lol
I really like how the ex skills makes every character a bit more unique, even though their friends can use their jobs too
Indeed

keep these videos pumping! I have been waiting for this content and not many channels are picking this game up

Good to note that Temenos’ Heavenly Shine scales with Advanced Magic and Alephan’s
Ultimate stance is really funny, especially with rite of diffusion. Archanist Hikari is probably my favorite build in this game

Thumbnail is clickbait.
Throne -> Latent Power -> Disguise (copy ally) -> Throne acts again

6:10 Did Cassti's Remedy just give someone Dohter's Charity?
Looks like it did. Same can also occur with Acta (at least I only saw divine buffs get tossed occasionally at max boost by Acta)

Thorne -> Latent Power -> Disguise -> Thrones turn again.
If she copy someone, does she get the same passive skill as the target have?
@@TheTonGoofy I had her copy Osvald who had price of power equipped but her sp costs for magic stayed the same so I don't think it does.

Pretty sure you can't go beyond the 9999 cap with monsters.
Do Thrones stats stay the same, or does she take on the Stats of the character she copies?
Lol that thumbnail 😹😹😹😹😹

ochette provoke beasts is so broken
I agree, you can trivialize about any bossfight with powerful enough monsters
Are ex skills job exclusive or character exclusive?
character exclusive
One true magic
ka me ha me ha
How you get the second one ex hability ? Pls i am new in the Game but i am loving it
You get one EX skill from the corresponding shrine and the second one at the end of the character's story arch
