Today we find all kinds of vintage 80s and 90s relics of the past while thrifting! A rare 90s Nintendo piece and tons of games found as well. Not much for retro games today but we still picked up some decent titles. Also saw some rad 90s toys at our stop at this thrift store.Thank you guy as always for coming along with me in my live game and toy hunting adventure!

That's Goliath a great character from a great Disney show. One of my all time favorite shows !
I was shocked you didn’t know Gargoyles. I got the full set: Goliath to Lexington for Christmas in 1996. The Goliath was cheaper cause the tail was missing. Also could have had removable wings as well. Hudson had some weapons and accessories missing.
That bag of expired Lay's would of been a nice addition to the $10 game collection lol
I totally would have had a happy fit if I'd found those Gargoyle figures!!!
When I feel sorta down, I watch this guys channel. Brings me back up.
I’m so glad they cheer you up my friend...merry Christmas !!!
Heyyy Rick, Merry Christmas to you too.
The more I watch this channel the more I like it. Love Retro Rick! Keep it up
Haha thank you Chris! Glad you are enjoying the content
Omg spy fox. My childhood! I literally played spy fox and humongous games every day!
Wow! Gargoyles was an awesome show!
Pogs in Mexico were called tasos. You pronounce it like tah-sos. They were more plastic than cardboard unlike the pog brand. Way more durable and we're the ones we were trying to get from each other's collection. I loved the faded ones cause they seemed aged to perfection. I only remembered getting them from bags of chips from Mexico. Every kid in south Texas had a couple.
I had Tazos growing up. In Mexico they came in as a prize in 1 dollar chip bags. They were Looney Toons theme and they were AWESOME.
I remember having a few Pogs growing up I never figured out how to play but they looked cool
I love gargoyles and some of the figures hold great value I regret passing on a few (missing wings like yours was )months ago.
Oh man the Gargoyles figures so cool. Also that rack of VHS, The Mummy the animated series based off the Brendan Fraser movies and Buzz Lightyear of Starcommand had that one years ago nice little pieces of my childhood.
Holy hell I saw a Town & Country Surf Designs POG in that binder. They made a couple of NES games that I still love playing.
7:07 I had that Minnie Mouse bubble blower as a kid! :D The bubble wand was attached to the bottom of her head while you filled her body with soapy water. I had that Winnie the Pooh at 13:36 as well. I'm amazed by how I keep seeing things from my childhood in your videos.
pogs with the slammers. good times, had one bounce and hit me in the face lol
Thanks as always Rick, but even moreso HAPPY THANKSGIVING ! My favorite content on youtube in the gaming world is your stuff hands down. The best to you and your family!
Gargoyles is my favorite show im so happy its on disney plus :)
Me to
Cool stuff, I was a 90s kids love looking at this stuff. I thrift for golf clubs actually saw some in this video. Good stuff man great video.
I had that same Mario phone as a kid... pulled it out of the attic last winter and his face had melted from summer heat😭
Disappointing/traumatizing
That mariokart phone is epic!! I've never seen one before and now I want one, time to add it to my retro hunting list lol.
I passed on that Mario Kart phone years ago and have not seen another since, hoping to add one to the collection one day! Eventually another will show up at the thrift or flea market!
What great collections..They are legend stuffs.Lucky u👌👍😁
Hi, here um Portugal Pogs were called tazos, and you could't buy them at stores, they would come on the chips packets and on a Cake
called chipicao. It was awesome man
Same in the Netherlands. Every pack of chips came with one or two and they where called Flippos. It was all the rage back in the day until someone swallowed one and suffocated or something 😆
Same in Mexico
Gargoyles!!! My favorite growing up
Awesome phone! I know what it’s like to already have something and find it again in the wild. I can’t stop myself.
You actually triggered me that you didn't know Gargoyles!! GREAT GREAT show!! jkjk you might be too young?
Not everyone is as great as we were 😂
Gargoyles is awesome even though I didn’t live around that time era... my dad introduced me to it along with Batman animated series and I LOVE IT
Good show but glad he didn’t get them they had no wings on them
My older brother loved it an talked about it 🤣
The retro game store by me has two of those Mario Kart phones. So tempted but I am like you, Rick, I don’t want to pay top dollar.
Oh cool, we have a couple of Gargoyle's toys from a friend of ours. Never saw the cartoon but it and the figures seem pretty cool.
I slightly remember pogs but I never got into them. Remember the, were they Star Wars Episode pogs from Taco Bell?
If you like the size of this flea market, you'd love some of those by us....buuuut you would NOT care too much for the pricing...
This is what I like about your hunts--the stuff you find from things I've never heard of or knew so little about that it's surprising there's any kind of merch for it at all.
Tazos were different. They were all a thin plastic rather than the card used for regular Pogs. They also had little grooves around the edges and you could interlock them. I feel that collection was worth a lot more than $15 based on ebay prices.
I am a big fan of the Toca Race Driver game series. It actually has a fun storyline to it and you race all kinds of cars in it so it keeps things interesting. It is the game that inspired the Grid and Dirt series of games on later consoles.
Gargoyles figures were dope 😉
Love the way you throw clips in between! Way cool! 👍
Great pick up on the Quake 4, Rick. The bonus disc includes a playable version of Quake 2!
Happy thanksgiving man! Loved this! 😃
Love your channel I’m just getting into retro gaming and nostalgia
Rick shame on you for passing on Gargoyles lol. it was a cartoon back in the late 90s and a decent one . But i guess you didn;t watch it growing up.
First thing I went for when Disney Plus launched!
I loved that cartoon💯
One of the best cartoons disney has ever made, can't believe he didn't know what it was.
OMG Summer Sanders...big crush on her back in the day!
Gargoyles was the bomb diggity bro
I had the Mario kart phone as a kid it was dope and I miss it. Wish I still had that guy
Hey I have the Nintendo sharp TV!! Love it. Also that Mario kart phone is my favorite pickup!
Dang for real?!?! That is amazing man
@@retrorick for real sir! I paid $800 for it but I bought it about a year ago. Drove a hour away from home to get it. Which was pretty cool. Has all four feet intact. It’s missing one plastic cover. But does have the game door cover.
@@danielnichols7817 unreal! I’ve never seen one, great score!
Happy Black Friday to get some deals
Sweet mario kart phone
🌭
Those John Deere tractors are selling well if you find them cheap!
That might have been James Earl Jones doing the voice of the gargoyle cartoon narration.
Keith David was the voice actor for that and also a semi co star of the amazing John Carpenter classic ... They Live.
I want that Mario Kart Phone lol that's Awesome
Don’t sleep on MLB Slugfest. Super fun arcade style baseball game. Gamecube versions go for 10-20 bucks too.
funny you mentioned that sharp NES TV. there is one in Sherwood
9:35 Rutger Hauer man, what a legend
I could hear your buddy Tendo screaming all the way from AZ pick me up those Pogs.
This is probably off-topic, but happy thanksgiving!!!
Happy normal day if you don't celebrate it!!!
How did you pass on the LEGO set behind the mini fig display?
I Like Vintage Games, But I LOVE Vintage Toys! 👌🏼
Happy Thanksgiving Retro Rick!!!!!😀🕹
If I found a sweet phone like that it would honestly have me debating on getting a land line lol
God that Mario phone is SO sick!!!
Where I grew up they call them “tazos”. I had a good amount of the looney tunes tazos.
I would definitely brought the Garfield glasses and the pogs
I always find it funny how reseller's complain about prices then turn around and charge retail for everything lol it's just really funny.
How could you pass on the Gargoyles figures!
I know you have a full time job and a family and you are a busy busy guy but I am going to need you to make a video every day I love when you go hunting awesome Channel my friend love to watch 👍
How do you not know about Gargoyles??? You're fired xD
Also Quake 4 is a great game, I really enoyed it.
I don't know if you've ever heard about this channel but i just found it.It's called,CollectorsLuck.I think you would really dig it! It's right up your alley.
The original release of Splinter Cell for the og Xbox can be used to softmod xboxes, just don't get the Platinum rerelease. Its not an expensive game but important for modding history's sake. Its one of only a couple xbox games I've kept.
I have all of those Garfield cups.
We called them Tazos in Australia 🇦🇺
Spy fox was the shit back then. Freddie fish, putt putt and pajama Sam were my childhood
In the uk pogs we're are just pogs, but tazos we're same sort of thing but diffent, came free with bags of walkers crisps ( chips for you in the US) pogs we're better and more collected. Great vid dude. 👍
I don't know why, but I feel personally attacked when the guy who collects toys said the turtle from Over The Hedge was a "Kid turtle"
7:23
Best joke ever! :D
Apparently you can trade in the sim games at GameStop pretty good to cover the ten dollar cost
Batman Arkham Origins is a really good selling game on Ebay. Sells between $15-$20.
You should've grabbed all 4 of those Clancy games, the COD, and probably the bioshock... all popular games that should sell.
This is random but I love the little hand gesture you do in your intro
Denver, Colorado. said Pogs!
Those comic books would have been a good pick up or flip......
Great video
We only called them pogs and i used to have a whole dresser drawer full of them
just remember, thrift stores are not dumb (ususally lol) so the owners and buyers know EXACTLY what everything in their store is worth,so the likelyhood of finding treasure is VERY rare!
Obviously you haven’t seen many of his videos.
The church ran flea market in my town has cases of air head taffy. Does that count as odd?
Love your channel! Except for my funko's and my transformers, I get everything else at garage sales and thrift stores. 👏👍😃
That one game you missed was NASCAR 15 on Xbox 360. Its actually worth about $15-$20
nascar 15 for 360 would have been a decent pickup. I see that going for $15+ on ebay
came looking for the one that saw it lol
@@HoosierResell lol i only knew that because i had one for ps3 i just sold recently. I had no idea that game would have had any value.
We called them pogs in michigan, 🙂
Hello retro Rick for the game collection would you want an Xbox one with games and a 2 terabyte hardrive?
How can you not know about Gargoyles ?
Called em pogs in California 👍🏼
Love this POV 👏🏻
Happy thanksgiving
I have to look up that nintendo tv sounds rad
21:38 like the one you own in gamepoint now? If only you knew what the future had in store for you!
WOW!!! I LOVE POG'Z,TAZOS I WOULD OF BOUGHT THEM ALL HELL YEAH
Game prices like you walked into a GameStop Rick 😱
Missed mlb slugfest! Great game
That flea market seems high on most games and movies what are they thinking
I've never seen a flea market like this, ours is just full of old broken shit.
Dang dude. $2 Pooh plush gotta be somewhere around $30!
Summer saunders was also a host o inside the nba in the 90"s on nbc
Happy Thanksgiving!
in México is tazos((Pogs) looney tunes can cost up to $ 75dollars. even pokemon and dragon ball
