Who is riding the best bike at this year's Tour de France? Let us know below 👇
LOOK
@@UA-camfanahandlebar fail yesterday 😳 LOOK seem to have ditched their famed build quality. Also the speed wobbles on stage 14 descent didn’t exactly speak to a confidence inspiring bike. In 2 days I went from considering buying the frame to avoiding it like the plague.
I have understood that in the middle of the overall competition all parts can be changed.. tires, rims, gears, saddle, handlebars.. is it still possible to change the frame??
@@Tommy31416 was not aware of the speed wobble. What time did that happen do you remember?
@@UA-camfana it was the descent before the last climb - there was a shot from the back of the peloton and one of the Cofidis riders had unbelievable speed wobble on a straight before a corner. I think it was just as the front group were about to start the final climb (stage 14)
Get well soon, Richard! Hope to see you back on this awesome bike again soon
man, the white/pink decals on the wheels look sick when running. amazing
It has a threaded BB??????? Wow, it's about time. I haven't had a non creaky BB since I last had a threaded BB on a Ribble Audax winter trainer which the previous owner had brought over from UK to Oz, then sold to me. It was such a good bike. I loved it. Then I crashed it too hard and broke the frame.
love the paint
What was its weight Si????????
If “Mr Cannondale” is watching I could never afford one but would love one in size XL! 😉
Power2max best power meter. Stages dual sided is great too but more expensive.
What about the weight mate, cummon Si 😂
All the TDF rider use the wahoo elemnt roam v2 ??
What kind of bike computer they use? Do we know all the brand and model?
Dc rainmaker made a video spying out every computer and powere meter used at the grand depart, check it out.
Best looking bike in the peloton by a long long way.
Carapaz being a small rider, yet rides with 40mm handlebars, proves not everybody flows with the current hype!
He rode 42mm MOST bars on the Pinarello for his Olympic gold too
Still reasonably small though compared with the old days.
Vision only makes the 38cm version with a 80 or 90mm stem, he has no smaller choice.
Veterans will remember when bars came in only two sizes: 38 or 40.
@@jonathanzappalahow to ruin a aggressive comment 😁
Sound check = a disturbed beehive🐝🐝🐝🐝!
That fork resembles Factor’s Ostro VAM
Where is the momo one piece bar/stem?
EF Education is sponsored by Vision so they use the Vision one piece bar/stem instead of the Cannondale Momo bar.
Might have a sceatch or two on it now.
Van der poel gets my vote, but Philipsen's got nice matching green paint. Also this bike is a beaty! top 3 in the pro peleton definitely
How light is the bike? I say 7.8 kg is new 6.8 kg these days in the peloton.
I'd guess not much more than 7 kg as shown -- very small, super light frame, even with discs
In that size it's sub 7kg for sure, with a 770g (for a painted 56) frame you should be able to hit 6.8kg, though I'm sure that paint job isn't lightweight.
If you are 5 figures for a road bike it should be below the minimum UCI weight.
@@bigunitcyling I personally think they should lower the UCI weight limit by a good kilo or so to encourage more lightweight innovation, but as things stand most teams seem perfectly happy to sit 500-1000 grams above for better aerodynamics. As for the everyday rider, that's all personal preference 😊
Mathieu van der Poel!!
Carapaz won the olympic road race on a 6.8kg Pinarello rim brake bike
He won it with his legs and his head.
Looks like bodged together out of spares 😅 His Pinarello was a much more beautiful paint job
@@georgerand6343 no, his legs, his head, and a bike, amidst a flurry of disc brake bikes, silly
WOut has an 8kg bike and he still wins stages. Weight is overrated. Not much between weights of 6-8kg imo
LOOK
Hi
Mads Pederson's Project 1 Madone - simply stunning. I'm a Bianchi fanboy, but the latest Oltre XR is just so ugly, I haven't heard a kind word about it yet - what were they thinking.
"Faster by 12W". Since when is watt a measure of speed?
What's the size?
Companies that claim a 12 watt gain over a year iteration don't get my money.
Surest way to make a bike faster is to put Carapaz on it
Cannondale SuperSix EVO Lab71 . . . hmm🤔🤨 I guess that makes Carapaz . . . a Lab Rat?🤣😂
I get why they didn't weigh it, this is Cannondale's heaviest Supersix ever made.
The wide bars are stupid, the wide tires are stupid too for a climber.
Cofidis
présenter un vélo sans donner son poids, il y a certainement "anguille sous roche" !!!
Nobody cares about freehub sound, we were waiting for the weight ;)
: The paint job is terrible. Show some pride when you're the olympic champion and bling the bike out a little... or more like give that man a chance to show more pride. Not a fan.
Watt and a half for golf all pedals? I call bs, what if your a toe down peddler, nothing is presented to the wind. Toe up, level, too many variables. Prove it with a dynamic peddler in the wind tunnel beyond a margin for error.
Who cares what the free hub sounds like as long as it performs? Seems a bit adolescent.
The bike look pretty good but the rider isn’t.😅
