Your Making head way. Its going to be a nice plane when you are finished. Little more frequent up dates when you get some things done. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy! .
movie man JLK - I greatly appreciate that bro! It’s been a LONG but great journey. Thanks so much for your comment!👍🏼 You should see her now. 😉👍🏼 Update video coming SOON.
Looking good there Chad. If able, I think getting your gas tank back in with the boot cowl off or loosely in place will be FAR easier than trying to get it in after everything is buttoned down. That thing gave me an absolute pain. I forgot if I finally got mine back on with boot cowl off - don't think it was completely off, as the filler neck didn't fit properly or something - just can't recall, but it was NO FUN getting that tank back in place. Very tight space to work in. I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Thanks for your comment! Oh yeah I’m not going to try installing it after the boot cowl is on. Lol. Lord no. That’s about impossible to do. The tank will go in before the boot cowl goes on to stay. 👍🏼
Are you keeping the aircraft certified or you making it experimental? What a crazy logbook entries required for all the work. It has been fun following the progress.
It’s definitely staying certified. People who take real J-3 Cubs and switch them to experimental are crazy. Lol. And yes it is definitely a LOT of paper work to file when it’s completed but it’s all worth it. 😁👍🏼 Thanks for the comment and keeping up with me. I need to upload more frequently.
