There where bad officials at that game, I remember the entire stadium booing them many times. However this is one of the best atmospheres I have ever watched a game in.
AU's Dream Season and Dream QB! What a wonderfully exciting season it was for college football! Every team wanted to stop Cam Newton It's amazing how one great player can effect an entire league.
I actually went to HS with Jake Bequette -- although I was a senior when he would've been a freshman..... a VERY tall freshman at that, and this is exactly what I remember of him even at that ripe age of 14-15 at Catholic High School here in Little Rock. The biggest football talent that my own class (2004) produced was Dan Rankin (who went to UNLV), RIP/RIL my brotha -- fell a victim to the same disease that affected MANY of our lives -- opioid addiction -- which nearly cost me my own life on three different occasions before I finally woke up and straightened my life out. My incarceration was a contributing factor as well, but we live and we learn. Wisdom only comes from life experience, reaping what we sow and learning those crucial lessons in the process. #WPS
There’s just something about the shakers of Auburn that always speaks to me. It’s something you don’t see in the NFL. In my time at Auburn I kept all of my shakers from the student section. There’s something particularly daunting about a rocking Jordan-Hare stadium with the band and the rowdy crowd and shakers, it’s intimidating. Gosh I love me some SEC college football 🏈
That Auburn defense in that fourth quarter went all out like Bandit escaping those smokies. Those pigs went to the bus during the 4th quarter with their tails tucked between their legs.

Donelson's "cover your eyes"comment is so cute. Verne and Donelson are perfect for the SEC.Great announcers! I love Gary and Verne. They are the best SEC announcers for Life! I hate to see either retire--ever.
Donelson was wrong here with that comment about "not putting Cam in Tebow's class." The remainder of the 2010-11 season proved that Cam Newton was so far superior to Tebow that there was actually no real comparison--not to mention Tebow's going bust at the pro level while Newton set and broke records throughout. Cam Newton was "made for this"--QB/Football, that is.
If it made Gary moan like THAT then just imagine how it made Jericho Nelson feel? LoL HE was tha 1 who took tha brunt of THAT encounter with Cam! War Eagle

He's just a motivater and will use his experience and knowledge to help out. The assistant coaches will be the main 1's calling the shots. Arkansas has a talented team this year its just a matter of can JLS and the assistant coaches can lead them to a successful season without bobby petrino.
Arkansas was down by 10 points and came back with a backup qb to take the lead in the 4th quarter. Arkansas was getting chunks of yards on auburn's d until the refs made the bad call on broderic green sayin he fumbled be4 he was down. Then Auburn took advantage and scored and got 2 picks off of wilson. I'm a hog fan and think arkansas prolly woulda lost in the end cuz cam newton was unstopable but the game was closer than 22 points including 14 that the refs gave auburn.
The refs didn't "give" Auburn that TD 51-43, Arkansas should have had better ball security. Childs was losing control of the ball when he fell on the Auburn defender and his knee hit the ground.
Says an Auburn fan who chooses to ignore when the refs screw another team just because they won. If that makes you sleep better at night from a bad record last year then good.
If they had not ruled it touchdown, this would have been very different. The video evidence has to be without a doubt to overturn. It is one of the oddest fumble I have seen, it defies all logic, and the vision is blocked by the tackler.
beatleman1991 I think there was enough to overturn the Fannin fumble. The Etheridge fumble return, that’s a bang-bang play. It was hard to see when the ball started moving and whether the knee was down. But the Fannin fumble, ball was on the way out at the half yard line.
DoctorLarry One camera angle doesn’t show it, but you can piece it together through other angles. A few years later, I think this gets overturned, but 2010 was really early in SEC reviews. Today’s review process will allow for multiple angles to piece it together
About as much difference as the "fake" injury did in their 35-17 loss against Auburn this year. Tre Mason scores on next drive in mid 4th quarter, with 18 point lead. Arkansas didn't stand a chance against Auburn this year.
Arkansas gave auburn all they could handle. To bad the refs gave auburn 14 points and killed our momentum. Fanon didnt cross the goal line be4 he fumbled and broderic green was down be4 he had the ball stripped out.
So do all who love college football. 2010 was the last of the truly EXCITING football seasons. Every team wanted to beat Cam Newton even more than they wanted to defeat the Tigers, and college football fans loved watching the battles every weekend and all the talk in between. Now it seems that the media tries to find p[layers to hype, but none have had the dominance and consistent greatness of Cam Newton. 2010 made us "want more, more more," but all for naught so far.

52:10 an absolute joke of a PI call on Washington. Reminds me of several calls against AU in the 2018 game vs LSU. Now that was a totally jobbed game if I’ve ever seen one
so they called off the dogs when arkansas was leading 43-37 in the 4th quarter? i'm not saying arkansas would win i'm just saying the game was closer than what the final score showed. It was a shootout until the bad call on green, wilson throws back to back picks to give auburn a 2 score lead then it was over. looking at the stats here, Arkansas had 566 yards Auburn 470 Arkansas 30 1st downs Auburn 25. But its 2 years ago and nothing will change to outcome. Auburn had a great year and won the NC
