Without Cam Newton, look at all the close games Auburn played in 2010…they would have finished 6-6. Cam Newton singlehandedly took a team from 6-6 to a national championship.
I wouldn't go that far cause we still had the best defensive player in the country that year but ur 90 percent right Michael dyer is a forgotten player cause him with mccalleb on the jet sweeps with rpos from cam Newton was unstoppable
@@packersauburneric3625I’m just saying to look at the scores because there’s 17-14 against Miss St, 27-24 against Clemson, 35-27 against South Carolina, 37-34 against Kentucky, 24-17 against LSU, and 28-27 against Alabama. Losing those would take them out of the SEC Championship against South Carolina. Let’s say they win their bowl game. That’s a 7-6 season without Cam Newton.

Furthermore TCU wasn’t even the best G5 team for most of the season. Cuz if the BS against TCu isn’t enough, good luck explaining: HOW THE ACTUAL F@CK Oregon jumped Boise State in Week 6? The Boise State who won 32 CONSECUTIVE GAMES, two of which were literally against Oregon….. Boise State won 34 straight games and dropped in the rankings BEFORE THEY LOST…. WHAT THE F@CK? Explain how you can beat opponents: 49-10 52-7 (vs a T20 team btw) 62-14 51-0 And drop from #2 to #4? Love to hear the explanation on that bs……

good video showing the almost for Auburn for 2004 and the SEC being very good in late 2000s and early 2010s..Florida in 06 08, Alabama 2009, and Auburn 2010..
Auburn was very good in 04, but they’re not beating 04 USC. 5 teams went undefeated in 04, and I would give it to USC by a mile….. By 2006 the rankings for SEC teams EXTREMELY SUSPECT….. 06 is Florida with Tebow, which they’re good, but the selection of Florida over Michigan is a direct contradiction of 2011. Plus if you look into the rankings things get very weird…. Whose Floridas best win in 2006? #3 LSU. 06 LSU went 11-2 and beat uh ZERO Top 10 teams, so how the world did they finish #3? Seems like LSU got there by beating then #5 Arkansas. Why was Arkansas #5? Because they beat then #2 Auburn and #13 Tenn. I’m starting to see a trend of SEC teams getting RIDICULOUSLY OVERRATED, other SEC teams beating these teams which overrated the entire rest of the conference…. Arkansas got BLOWN THE F&CK out at home vs #6 USC to start the season, but in the span of 10 weeks by beating teams that went 52-69 they became a Top 5 team…… Something is wrong with that picture….. Arkansas got jump started by beating then #2 Auburn. How did get to #2? Well they magically jumped from #14 (9-3) in 05 to #4 in 06 without playing a single down…… (Auburn outranked USC, to start 2006, when USC finsihed in the Top 2 the last 3 consecutive years!) How in the f@ck does that make any sense? Auburn did beat #6 LSU in week 4, but this team would lose by 17+ to Arkansas and (9-4) Georgia. The only major OOC win the SEC had in 06 was beating 10-3 #14 Cal by Tennessee, who they beat at home by 17. However this overrated the heck of the rankings as well as Cal went 9-4 finished #24 in 05, and magically started #9 in 06, so when they beat “#9” Cal, Tenn shot up to #12 just in time to play Florida. Tennessee would finish with 4 losses and their only quality win being over Cal. The SEC actually went 8-5 vs P5 in OOC, course their 8 wins came against teams that went a combined 48-53 (38-50 outside of Cal), while their 5 loses to actually quality teams the SEC GOT BLOWN THE F@CK OUT by 5 teams that went 56-10, and the SEC got outscored 66-205…… So basically you have 1 SEC team of quality from year over year, and 1 SEC team win a quality OOC game and then an absolute sh!tshow overrated garbage leading to Florida claiming they beat 3 Top 10 teams in 2 Top 15 teams, when in reality the teams they beat teams that finished #3, #15, and #24, with their best win coming against a 11-2 team who didn’t have a single Top 10 win and only beat a #15 and #24 team. How does 06 LSU outrank 06 Louisville by 5 spots, when Louisville went 12-1 and beat #10 WV and #12 Rutgers aka better wins than anyone LSU beat?
Boy I would do anything to go back to this magical season 6th grade memories take cam off this team this season doesn’t exist that needs to be recognized a lot more than it is

Hope hugh freeze recruits like chizik did and just land the right QB or find out if Holden griener is the future or Robby Ashford if he wants to be nick Marshall he can be if he gets better at intermediate passes
Ya that never gets old between that and it being a undefeated season and how big of a choke it was for Bama to help us get a national title felt like 2 national titles and no matter what Saban can't get that off his resume that he let auburn make 2 national championships in 4 years on his watch even during a dynasty
Corey lemonier was a perfect freshman contributor and nosa egue solid guys like that combined with high ranked recruits like dyer also and dee Ford and all American josh Bynes In the middle
Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, Johnny Manziel, are the top 3 college football players ever, I don’t care if they’re all close in era. What they did for their schools are unmatched
It was pretty shocking how low scoring this game was. I thought both sides were way too loaded on offense for either team to slow down. I really thought it was going to be 49-42 or 51-49 or something that crazy.
The front 4 for Auburn and the linebackers were elite run stuffers and good pass rushers with a young Corey lemonier and dee Ford and Zach Clayton is forgotten and Marcus mcneill the safety could lay the wood and etheridge held things down enough in secondary
People forget auburn has the toughest schedule and division in college football and we had the toughest route that year to a national title and still prevailed, and people forget how many nfl players were on that south Carolina team back when they had a great coach Steve Spurrier....
The Guru for Auburn offense was coach Gene Chizik he coach in the Greatest college football game ever in Texas versus USC and he coach Vince Young which is incredible when he said before the S.E C. Championship game to Cam u are the Greatest football player I've ever seen coaching in the Greatest college football Championship game ever and the Greatest college football player ever only one other individual can say that trainer Angelo Dundee who trained Ali in the fight of the Century against Joe Frazier and the Greatest Athlete of the Century Muhammad Ali point blank.
Dyer in 2011 was twice as good as 2010 behind trotter and clint mosley and a new offensive line which made ya wonder what could have been, highest rb recruit Auburn has ever got
That idiot at the airport was terrible. Fans who followed closely for the past 10-15 years at that time knew that. I loved the Chiz hire because he knew AU in the 2000-05 era. Muschamp was the only other possible HC that would have maybe been good for AU. Hiring Malzahn was really savvy by Chiz.
Rip Lutz #43 ! And shout out to Kodi Burnes who played qb the year before but noticed how good cam was and put his pride to the side and became a wideout, and ended up scoring the first TD of the National championship game against oregon. He deserved that one definetly, but the whole team played a part in every singls aspect of the game
The best rushing team in sec history at the time and as great as 2013 was at wide receiver I would rather have 2010 offensive with cam and the best running back recruit in the country Michael dyer who broke bo Jackson rushing record as a freshman
I'm an LSU fan but I must admit that Cam Newton meant more to Auburn that year than any player has ever meant to a team. I think he's the greatest collegiate player of all time.
This championship I'll put up against the 2021 Georgia one because we played the toughest schedule and ran the table with so much pressure and the 2 best players in the country in offense and defense and all senior offensive line and a great defensive line and linebacker core only iffy part was secondary which we made up for
Sorry Pugh, I left the uga game when they got up 2 tds; ran all the way down wire road to Ridgewood to watch the rest at the house. heard our 2nd td as I was running by the tailgates and the game tying td two seconds after I turned the tv on at my place. @@ericpackers1700 Yet y’all weren’t even close to 2010 TCUs defense on literally anything…..
@brian2440 The S.E.C. is the best conference ever with having the best college football player ever Cam in other words Auburn was destined to win it all that year no matter who they played against point blank period
I remember Cam outrunning Patrick Peterson to the end zone on a QB draw up the middle when they played LSU that year! I'd never seen a QB play like that and whoop us so handily!
That was a Heisman play against a lsu team that finished top 5 and beat Bama that was as good if not better than the 2009 and 2011 teams who won but Auburn got them that year and so did lsu
Dyer made newton perfect with Mccaolleb on jet sweep
@@ericpackers1700 that was deadly! Great football!
No one talks about the offensive line - like 125 combined starts or something crazy. Line was amazing.
Fr ur right
It helps when you magically don’t have to play literally the #1 defense in the country in the championship game even though that team went undefeated….
Dominated Oregon's offense in trenches despite weak secondary
Veteran offensive line but one of them got drafted in the 5th round the defense giving up 40 points per game Cam had to run for over a 1000 yards that season to escape the defense and also throw for over a 1000 yards Cam did it all that's why he was not only voted unanimously the best player in college football that year but was also voted the best college football player ever point blank period
Yea last part isn't true in the slightest can think of way better collage or football players in general
@dakotabynum5137 Look it up yes Cam was voted the Greatest College football player ever
The Auburn Family is amazing, War Eagle.
Great job
Can newton is my favorite college football player ever. I used to ralk on the phone to my dad cuz he lived in a different state when I was a kid and I couldn’t wait to tell him about cam newton every Sunday lmao

@@packersauburneric3625well what season was your favorite 2004 of 2010 as a Auburn fan? War eagle.😊
2010 we came back, 2013 we let opponents come back....Put some respect on Coach Chizik name!!!!

He helped with some good recruits against Saban
good video showing the almost for Auburn for 2004 and the SEC being very good in late 2000s and early 2010s..Florida in 06 08, Alabama 2009, and Auburn 2010..
Great era of SEC football and hopefully Florida and auburn start beating Georgia
More like the league got corrupt af…..
Arkansas got BLOWN THE F&CK out at home vs #6 USC to start the season, but in the span of 10 weeks by beating teams that went 52-69 they became a Top 5 team……
Something is wrong with that picture…..
Arkansas got jump started by beating then #2 Auburn.
How did get to #2? Well they magically jumped from #14 (9-3) in 05 to #4 in 06 without playing a single down…… (Auburn outranked USC, to start 2006, when USC finsihed in the Top 2 the last 3 consecutive years!)
How in the f@ck does that make any sense?
Auburn did beat #6 LSU in week 4, but this team would lose by 17+ to Arkansas and (9-4) Georgia.
The only major OOC win the SEC had in 06 was beating 10-3 #14 Cal by Tennessee, who they beat at home by 17.
However this overrated the heck of the rankings as well as Cal went 9-4 finished #24 in 05, and magically started #9 in 06, so when they beat “#9” Cal, Tenn shot up to #12 just in time to play Florida. Tennessee would finish with 4 losses and their only quality win being over Cal.
The SEC actually went 8-5 vs P5 in OOC, course their 8 wins came against teams that went a combined 48-53 (38-50 outside of Cal), while their 5 loses to actually quality teams the SEC GOT BLOWN THE F@CK OUT by 5 teams that went 56-10, and the SEC got outscored 66-205……
So basically you have 1 SEC team of quality from year over year, and 1 SEC team win a quality OOC game and then an absolute sh!tshow overrated garbage leading to Florida claiming they beat 3 Top 10 teams in 2 Top 15 teams, when in reality the teams they beat teams that finished #3, #15, and #24, with their best win coming against a 11-2 team who didn’t have a single Top 10 win and only beat a #15 and #24 team.
How does 06 LSU outrank 06 Louisville by 5 spots, when Louisville went 12-1 and beat #10 WV and #12 Rutgers aka better wins than anyone LSU beat?

Dyer in 2011 was twice as good as 2010 behind trotter and clint mosley and a new offensive line which made ya wonder what could have been, highest rb recruit Auburn has ever got
Dyer was the one who put his teammates up to robbing a drug dealer and then snitched on them. Dyer was a piece of garbage.

I guess I'm kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released movies online ?
That idiot at the airport was terrible. Fans who followed closely for the past 10-15 years at that time knew that. I loved the Chiz hire because he knew AU in the 2000-05 era. Muschamp was the only other possible HC that would have maybe been good for AU. Hiring Malzahn was really savvy by Chiz.
Ya Gus was better at recruiting offensive line with chizik and won also cause of the smash mouth tuberville guys that were around also like Lee zemba
Cam leaves and Auburn goes back to being Auburn.
Everybody saying this happened that happened … mann Cam Newton happened that’s what happened
The best rushing team in sec history at the time and as great as 2013 was at wide receiver I would rather have 2010 offensive with cam and the best running back recruit in the country Michael dyer who broke bo Jackson rushing record as a freshman
Imagine how good Auburn would have been if Trotter was even 1/50th as good as cam Newton
Or Neil caddle
Ah, nothing like the fine leadership of a stalwart example of human decency, Nick Fairley.
Warren Sapp like
I'm an LSU fan but I must admit that Cam Newton meant more to Auburn that year than any player has ever meant to a team. I think he's the greatest collegiate player of all time.
That 2011 lsu defense was basically on the field that game & 2010 bama was defending champs & punched that defense in the mouth
This a game that changed many lives... Parker could've been The Cam Newton Of The NFL and Vise Versa For The Other Players

This championship I'll put up against the 2021 Georgia one because we played the toughest schedule and ran the table with so much pressure and the 2 best players in the country in offense and defense and all senior offensive line and a great defensive line and linebacker core only iffy part was secondary which we made up for
Fun fact: auburn has had amazing front seven for a long time
Fairley was like Warren Sapp the best defensive player in the country
Took alot of special players to pull this off with alot of help from Cam !!! Made the whole team step up.
Sorry Pugh, I left the uga game when they got up 2 tds; ran all the way down wire road to Ridgewood to watch the rest at the house. heard our 2nd td as I was running by the tailgates and the game tying td two seconds after I turned the tv on at my place. Alabama was so afraid of Cam Newton returning the next year, so I believe they started all the bad things that was said about Cam. I think Cam might would've returned but he knew all that crap would go on the whole next year.
Like they are doing with Harsin right now.
Nah winning a national championship PLUS the heisman trophy, you don’t return to college lol you go straight to the NFL

Chizik was an unpopular hire because of one dude yelling stupid stuff at the airport.... Okay. Us actual Auburn fans remembered Chizik as the very good DC from the early 2000s teams, including the best defense in the country in 2004. So yeah...
