Use aluminum oxide for rust removal. Glass beads for aluminum parts and soda for carburetors or other aluminum parts that you don’t want to etch deeply with the more aggressive medias. The good thing using soda on carbs is that you can wash them out with water and know that the soda will be washed out completely! A blast of air through the carb passages and it is really clean. Great video
Hi Steve, I’m happy that you will give it a try. I must say though, that it is not powerful enough to do bigger kind of work, but for smaller projects it is good enough 😊 and fun to build! Good luck 💪🏻💪🏻

Sorry, I noticed that You were asking for the gun. It doesn’t say actually, just that it uses around 250 l/min(air). The cheapest one for about USD 20 😬 so not the most high quality
I was about to make one but i read that inhaling sand particles that you can't see, it's very bad for health and sandblasting is forbidden in UK and many countries around the world 😟 At least wearing an industrial mask is a must. 😷⚠️
It is nice to know that governments are taking care of our health by forbidding sandblasting. I wonder how they forgot about massive air industrial poisoning, chemtrails, WiFi radiation, cellphones and base stations radiation, food poisoning, medical drugs poisoning, vac* poisoning...
In 1999, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) (reg. 4) expressly prohibited the use of ‘silica sand’ for blasting purposes, where the silica concentration exceeds 1%. there are still other types of equally effective blast cleaning methods available which don’t use silica sand particles. With the process now rebranded as grit blasting or abrasive blasting, ‘sandblasting’ techniques now feature safer substitute abrasives. These include materials such as steel grit, garnet, aluminium oxide, glass beads, copper slag and specular haematite.
Not picking on you, I like the idea, buuuuuuuut, I assume the plastic with get beat up by the sand. How long does it lat before you cant see anything from the sand bouncing off the plastic?
Hi! you are assuming correctly. The plastic is not the best choice. I have plans on cutting a hole in the lid and adding a glass "window" instead. I have not used the box recently but I've probably done 7-10 jobs in it and I can still see decently :) Thank you for commenting!
