    When tacking the helm should say "Ready about" this is short for "Are you ready to go about?". It's a warning to the crew that you are about to tack. The crew should reply "Yes" or if there is an issue then "No". The helm then says "Lee ho" or "Helm to lee" as they push the helm over to start the manoeuvre.

      Since making this video we have brushed up on our communication so in future videos this should be correct. We didn’t realise it was short for “are you ready to go about” good to know…. Thanks for the info 👍
