    Kozact, pls you're gonna have to do a video, or many videos about the awkward/ugly phase of afro growth, how long it would last, how to manage it, deal with it or even hide it (to resist changing/removing and in turn damage it.) If possible how to deal with people telling you to cut it.

    kozact, So basically rn i'm trynna get an afro and maybe braids in the future and i've been growing my hair out for the past 3 maybe 4 months or so and the hair growth has been slow but recently i've been oilling it more and so on. Should I restart and start fresh even tho theres no split ends or keep on going?
    and also random question but how often do you wash your own hair, Kozact?

    • @kozact
      @kozact  Рік тому +1

      I’d say you don’t need to restart, as long as you start keeping your hair in the proper conditions from now on your hair should adapt well to the Change
      So oil your scalp ,
      Condition your hair with a leave in conditioner
      , And seal in the moisture by putting a little oil in your actual hair now
      And to answer your other question, I wash my hair Once every 2 or sometimes 3 weeks

    • @nepheron8294

      It’s fine to pick your hair every day as long as you’re picking it properly, meaning your taking your time starting from the end and working your way all the way to the route of your hair
      Something else that you can do as well is finger detangle your hair, I usually pick my hair once a week and then throughout the week finger detangle it to keep it detangled

      I heard it s better to wear a bonnet bcus dyrag presses ur head inward and cud be verybehard to deal with and pull out in the morning, bonnets ar ebeyter because they dont compress ur hair as much as a durag . U can use a durag but add some slack so that you dont restrict blood flow to ur head to allow good circulation to ur head and promote great growth . But depending on ur hair , when it s pressed with a durag u ll have to apply a lot more water to loose the strands so that u can pic it or whatever. But u can gain alot of split ends from this so i highly recommend a bonnet. Also hair might struglle to grow if ur vitamin deficient , vitamin d is for hair growth. Hope this helps 🙏

      For my looser hair type i recommend a durag as a bonnet would allow movement in my braids and cause loose hairs as it rubs against my braids. but im gonna try a bonnet and see if it works better.

    Why are you washing your cornrows in the first place. That is a no no. Your only supposed to shampoo and condition your hair when you take braids out to get redone.
