Thanks alot bro for this video. I got my hair braided for the first time last Monday so new to the game. I always kept a clean cut and want to do the same with my braids. The itches is real after a few days so was told to pat not scratch from the ladies lol. My hair is coarse so was told my style would hold a while but I gotta stop this itch! I agree using oil and water is the key. That's all I used for my short hair days instead of grease. I think the products the braider used may be causing the itching or scalp is just dry. New sub here both videos helped want to keep them in for a least a month without messing them up but gotta tackle this itch😂
the first day you get them keep them in a durag all day. also make sure you’re wearing one when you’re doing anything active and when you take a shower. anything that’s gonna make you sweat or get your head moist/wet, durag. and don’t touch it!!!!!
Hey Kozact, I’ve been having some trouble. I’m hair genetics aren’t the best, and I’ve got somewhat receding hairline, with about 2 to 2.5 inches or so of hair at its longest at the top. I want cornrows, do you have any advice?
You said something towards the end of your video about keeping your hair (afro) in its form after taking out braids/cornrows. Any reason why you do that? Any benefits?
If you put a leave in conditioner & hair oil and the next morning you use conditioner. Does the conditioner wash out the leave in and oil. I thought that you were supposed to conditioner on your hair everyday. But your also suppose to leave products until ur next "wash day" IM CONFUSED PLEASE HELP!!!
Yes it will wash it out. It’s not mandatory to use conditioner everyday. Only do so, If you have severely dry hair. You can also just oil your scalp every other day. I know all of this because I’m a student of Kozact Lol. His videos has helped my hair grow tremendously!!! My last haircut was on New Years Eve.
Cornrows or braids themselves don't directly promote hair growth, but they can be a protective style that helps retain length by reducing breakage. For type 4 hair, it's essential to maintain moisture, minimize manipulation, and follow a healthy hair care routine to support growth. While protective styles can be beneficial, overall hair health practices play a crucial role.
It’s because of growth, just like how snake sheds their skin, our hair does the same sheds is just new growth we just have take care of it regularly that way your hair follicles as well as your scalp stay strong and healthy !

How often did you moisturized your hair when you had it in braids
Is it bad to wear a bonnet or durag for a long time?
No just make sure they are not tied too tight and you will be fine
If ur hair is matted, use a rat tail comb to seperate the hair. My hair was matted at the end
Mine has only lasted 2 weeks had to take out because the sides was coming out what to do for next time?
same bruhhhh

Braid it first then get the cut and clean up…. Also the longer it gets your sides will stay in
Can we take the braids and remake them in the same day? Thanks for the vídeo 💯

Alikays lemongrass conditioner does not have natural ingredients only
I keep mine in 3 weeks
Are conrows/braids necessary for hair growth
No, but they do help protect you hair aswell as help to promote longer faster growth
No. Your hair will grow regardless style does not matter. Just moisturize it with water then oil

When taking out my cornrows, I find that my hair sheds a lot. Is it because I don't hydrate them? Let me know what you think...
