Silly Question: Are there any Sylosis songs/parts you could call "easy" by their standards? None really come to mind other than the odd riff.
For eg. Was trying to play Oath of Silence and yeah.. im not there yet lol.
Servitude, Where the Wolves Come to Die, Withered, Apparitions, Cycle of Suffering… all doable because I’ve only been playing 2yrs and I can handle these for the most part (still feel like a workout)
Blackest Skyline, Stained Humanity, Conclusion title track is some of their easiest.
I recently learned Mercy..all Josh's riffs are very technical..the trick is learning to play without have to think about your palm muting hand..
Leech is one of the easier songs to learn. Even the solo in that is easy by Sylosis standards

Just discovered Sylosis about 6 months ago. Can't believe I missed them. Josh Middleton is an unbelievable player. Using the "inverted" power chord definitely adds to the heaviness in E. Even heavier on the new album in D.
Conclusion of an age is one of if not the best modern E standard albums! Great video man! 🤘

Yes mate this album is so damn good. The shredding from reading lol. I saw sylosis in their early days i think they were supporting Malefice. Some sweet playing there, the ibanez sounds great 👍
Such a shame oath of silence isn’t played live anymore, that song is the ultimate slapper.
Only a few songs from this album get played live, like the title track, The Blackest Skyline and Teras. It's really a shame, because the whole record is absolutely amazing, but it might be because it's really difficult for Josh to play these extremely technical songs on guitar while singing.
Also teras is in my top 5 all time favorite songs ever recorded. For what its worth (:
