I have one of their larger scale toys: a semi trailer truck. Austin truck prime mover in green, and single axle low sided trailer in orange. Had it for over 50 years now.
One of my favorite cars of all time I've always loved the Rolls-Royce and I've never seen that casting before but that's normal when it comes to you you're always bringing out castings that I've never seen before and I love watching your channel keep up the good work have a good one and God bless
What a restoration! I cannot believe how nice these models look. The paint scheme look great and I like the beige interior of the second one. Thanks for sharing this.
I really like your videos keep it up! You got to keep making these amazing videos cuz sadly most of the restorers who have commentary have stopped posting.
looks great, the red is well done. :) somehow I prefer the beige interior, it adds a little contrast to it. all tone-in-tone is a bit boring to the eye...
You did a great job as always, but I have a suggestion for the next restoration you do on the next Silver Cloud Mk 3. Since you have only red interiors, why not make the next one white? I know that white wasn’t a color used in the production of these die casts, but there’s a method to my madness….. Growing up my family owned in the mid 1960s a White Pontiac Catalina sedan with a red interior. It was a great combination of colors. If you find another brown interior, paint that Silver Cloud a dark blue. Just a suggestion
The only thing I’d have done different is chrome the rear bumper. I know it wasn’t like that originally but it makes such a difference. Great work though and it inspires me to get back to my to do pile.
The black is an essential base coat for metallic silver. The clear red gives a light coat over the metallic silver and a totally different finish to a straight metallic red. That is quite a solid finish with quite large metalflake. It could be done either way but from factory these were usually finished in clear reds over silver primers
very nice I've never heard of Lonestar either. Paint was spot on.

Awesome restoration, love the paint job. Have a great week, my brother.
Lovely models and great results. I can't help but think it would be a good candidate for further detailing like the rear lights and bumper 🤔

Awesome work. Should use one of the broken ones to make a wastelands/mad max inspired car.

Maybe turn one of the “parts cars” into a fixed roof coupe? (might have to get creative with some 3D printing here..)
1:50 where did you get that windshild? did you make it?

What’s the reasoning for doing black-metallic silver-clear red rather than just a metallic red?
