After living in Toronto for years my bf and I moved to Van in 2021, ended up staying 8 months and moved back to Toronto and so happy to be back! People are wayyy more friendly and there’s so much more to do in Toronto and the surrounding cities. From seeing your Toronto vlogs you always look so happy and having fun when you’re there. I would seriously look into making the move if I was you! I don’t think you would regret it 🫶🏻 you only have 1 life to live!
Yeah wine lasts for a pretty long time, I drank one that was months old and it just gets a little stronger. But keeping it in the fridge definitely helps prolong it!
Make the move!! When my job in TO shifted to WFH I moved to Vancouver and while I loved the access to the outdoors, that's about all Vancouver has going for it. As much as I love the west coast, people's vibes are really off in Vancouver - I find the energy is so heavy and no one seems to like each other lol. We haven't made it to our final destination yet (I personally love the drive) but the energy has already lifted and I can't see me turning back. Understandably different since you have family in the area, but I doubt you guys would regret spending a few years elsewhere. We were in TO when the Raptors won the basketball finals and the vibe and accepting nature of the city is just everything I had hoped for. Good luck on deciding!

I lived there for 11 years and I remember when I first visited Vancouver I thought it was so much friendlier than Toronto and my dating experiences were much better contrary to what everyone is saying about Vancouver 😂 in the beginning of the year after living in Toronto for so long and realizing things are just not going the way I expected I decided to make a life changing decision and move to the US. I left my home and friends and it was the scariest and best decision I’ve made so far! If you want to do it do it! :)
Have you considered moving to the states?! I don't know why but I can totally see you living in NYC, Miami, Chicago, or Sunny LA. I think in a warmer climate would lead to possible greater chances on meeting new people...
You should go spend a month or two in Bali (cuz it’s amazing hehe) and then move to Australia for a while! 😍 I did both of those things and it was amazing and will do it again!
Melissa, you are beautiful inside and out. Please stop "trying".. let the universe bring that special person to YOU. Follow your gut and if it tells you, you need a new fresh space, a new energy move city....

Honestly, I think Toronto is meh. It's just a "concrete city" and I just find it boring and overrated, but that's just me. Every city is going to have its thing. I dont think you're going to see a massive difference in the way people are by just moving to a different city. I love Vancouver.
