Sea grapes is called LATO here in the Philippines. We add vinegar and chopped red onion. Its a local legacy here.

Watching one of your old videos vs your new videos, I've seen how much you two have grown as creators and it's so amazing to see! You were great at this time but your content creation has become even better and I'm so happy :D Also, you two have to be one of my favorite YT couples for sure. It's just natural and genuine on cam and I love it!

My ex was Latin so I made lots of black beans and rice I make a dish similar to your taco salad. The only difference is I add black beans to it and top with sour cream and a few Fritos chips crumbled on top. You should give it a try very good. I like mine spicy so i add jalapenos lol. Always love y'alls videos!

I have made your taco rice. Being vegan It's a Wonderful meal for me and I make my own taco seasoning. Your taco rice is one of the most awesome meals I have had! I rarely have tortillas in the house but I always have a big bag of rice and mock hamburger meat. I have even used TVP that of seasoned up so anyone reading this you can soak TVP with the taco seasoning and some water and it is lovely!

They really do. My local convenience stores only have those nasty roller hot dogs and maybe some boring sandwiches. QT has pizza, but that’s about it. Why can’t we get really good stuff at Quik Trip or 7-11 here in the states? :(

Okinawan tofu is best eaten when the vendor delivers it to the store fresh, hot and steaming. Much better than the ones in plastic packs. Some supermarkets in Okinawa will have a fresh tofu section with the delivery time posted to let customers know when the next fresh batch will arrive.

I actually said Shinichi's line to myself before he did: I can't drink it because it's strong and I"ll just die!
I love how you both had the exact same reaction to the tofu's taste at the same time :D When I was a university student, I worked at a restaurant and they had umibudo as part of the salad bar. The first time I prepared it, I stupidly rinsed it too long and everything became a soggy mess! I love those ice cream sandwiches!

That's odd about the sea grapes because here any shellfish that we purchase goes directly into the refrigerator so it doesn't die. Every state and town has ice cream sandwiches like you're eating now. I grew up with them my mother worked at the company that made them for a while and she used to bring home just the cookie part which is crunchy and awesome. But we can buy them anywhere including convenience stores! :-)
