The Han Solo Blaster has an upside down sharpfire stock attachment point. I made a video a few months ago on how I modded a sharpfire stock to fit. Anyways keep up the good work, a fan in Texas.
That first order blaster looks really good. Another great video, Cap. Pastebin has been updated. An idea for a new series could be a "Maximum potential" series, where you take all the blasters that could not take a k26 (or even those that could) and improve the internals, add brass, replace parts, and generally spec out blasters to their full potential without severely limiting their lifespan. I know you wont be able to crank them out like k26 vids, but it would be a neat series to see.
I think a Detailed Modern Mod Guide series would be Awesome. Many of the old Mod Guides recommend using parts and kits that are no longer available. It would be useful to have a Mod Guide for the NF-Strike/3D-Printed era.
You're the best for finding out that you can mod an Artemis without having to open the front grip. Just finished it today using your method! And fyi, the helios spring (which I'm assuming is the same as this) is 10kg while K26 is 13kg - both measured by me.
Suggestion/idea: O Captain, my Captain, I enjoy your 'Can it Take a k26' series, as it shows the internals of blasters and such that many in the mod community dont bother to tinker with simply because they are too complicated or too much effort or simply not worth the time. However, that leads me to my suggestion, which may or may not be popular among the fans of your channel. I like the idea of you doing a comprehensive mod guide-type video while testing k26 in blasters, but might also suggest that you go a step further and do mod guides or mod suggestions on any blaster. This not only will be a fun way for you to tinker with blasters others may not try to tinker with, but also teach those in the community why some blasters are hard to mod or why others are more popular. And also, you might discover (for all of us nerfers) something that may actually be awesome that we had previously ignored. Sorry for the long essay of a comment. Have a good day.
Wonderful as always, Captain! I think doing one blaster per episode with a more detailed look at it is a great idea, and will keep the series going longer.
Do you think you'd use a holdster rig for the han solo blaster? As for the issues the Captain had with frequency, it usually increases with repetition. In other words, the stormtrooper blaster's stock spring had an increased frequency over k26.
Also because he has amazing customer service, absurdly fast shipping, good prices, and only sells high quality parts that he has tested thoroughly...and because he is cool. ;)
Huh. The new Han Solo blaster looks like it could be modified to look like a 10mm pistol from Fallout: New Vegas. Namely removing the barrel and scope and doing something about the handle. Then a paint job and it might make a good cosplay piece, especially if you take out the sounds.
Kaleb Nolen Would it, though? The Han blaster has a better shape for what I'm thinking. You'd mostly just need to integrate a different handle and take off a few pieces then give it a paintjob and some other light shell work.
I would've watched this video sooner but, I was doing some excavating for my anteater pit. Glad to see the internals are a Helios and so easy to do this upgrade! This makes me actually want this blaster now.
Hate to be that nerd, but on the F-11D (the first order stormtrooper blaster), that’s not a folding stock. While it was on the E-11, the First Order chose to get rid of the stock itself and instead that black and white portion at the bottom of the front end is actually supposed to act as a foregrip.
If you were to do a series on cosmetic builds I think you would make some really impressive mods maybe incorporate some leds anyways your work inspires others keep up the good work and thanks
So... where DOES one find those upgrade-springs? I have a modified Rey blaster I'd like to give some extra "oomph," and as I recall has that goofy tapered spring as well.
Love the video, you already know I'm going to get the NFstrike helmet and the first order blaster. I'm going to be the biggest little kid living my fantasy. 501st gang
There are a few recent Power Rangers toys from the Super Ninja Steel series that shoot foam darts. I doubt k26 will fit in them but they're an episode idea if you spot them at Goodwill. Sadly, the pump action blaster is single shot but you might be able to turn it into a 3-dart shotgun with some absolver materials and an air blaster. It could also make a cool barrel for an integration project.
I personally love the "word from our sponsor" bit that you and out of darts have going on, keep up the good work. May I suggest you do some reviews with more of a modder's perspective in mind instead of simply reviewing the blaster this would give your reviews a unique perspective.
That joke was so horrifically dead on arrival and ran into the ground 30 million times over it's beyond words. Try seeing coop's vid on it when it came out, not getting a single laugh on it, expecting the garbage would end there, and then just seeing that comment ON EVERY FUCKING NERF VIDEO THAT EVER EXISTED. for months. and months. and months. it is the epitome of a terrible meme, not funny to begin with, no variety, and reposted into oblivion to the point it is inescapable for an obnoxious amount of time.
To be fair. I created the "can it take a K26?" meme that all other Nerf channels now have to deal with. And it is almost as annoying. More annoying when applied to things that very very obviously cannot. I don't mind at all when people seriously ask about blasters I have not covered. When people asking it satirically about things like air blasters, stringers, or my snacks...that is just lazy satire.
@@CaptainXavier I find that one slightly funnier because it's connected to an entertaining series, the phrase has just become pretty iconic, and people have always done crazy, surprising nerf mods that shouldn't be possible, where as Coop's vid that started that meme was a terrible throwaway goofball vid that was dead on arrival. my apologies for asking it on the lego Bolt gun vid then, I could tell you were not amused >_>
Taken from a conversation with an industry insider: "I believe the Retaliator 7kg spring will work with [that] blaster [as well as the Jakku] as they have similar plunger and plunger tube designs. If you have trouble priming with any of these blasters with the 7kg spring installed you can cut the last coil off to allow the spring to compress down further but it is unlikely that you will have priming problems because direct plunger blasters are pretty forgiving when it comes to spring dimensions."
Ive noticed with nerf adaptations of star wars blasters, the clones DC-15 A and the First order blaster, they both dont have a pump grip, and both dont have that then be repurposed as a cool tactical folding stock (which no doubt would be awesome) tho I could seem them be kinda flimsy like the first gen Recon Stocks that would need extra reinforcement. Also I didnt know there was a first order rival blaster and I want one

Captain, I think you would like Fallout 4, the mods for most weapons are cool and if 1st person makes you dizzy, you can switch to 3rd person at any time
the stormtrooper blaster is for left handed people because the majority of the population is right handed, so firing it with their left hand would be hard, giving them worse aim. the defining trait of a stormtrooper, horrible aim.

yee haw
Congrats on 80 episodes of this series! I love it. Keep up the awesome work.

That stormtrooper rifle is awesome, and that it is not a front prime is criminal, especially given that the regular nerf dart version is.
I think a Detailed Modern Mod Guide series would be Awesome. Many of the old Mod Guides recommend using parts and kits that are no longer available. It would be useful to have a Mod Guide for the NF-Strike/3D-Printed era.

Great video as usual.
I like the idea of a comprehensive model guide on a single blaster.
Thanks again Captain

Hans blaster is a broomhandle Mauser with modifications on it
Yeah. The C-96.
Do you think you'd use a holdster rig for the han solo blaster?

Cap drops videos like a MADMAN!!!
I’am a HUGE Star Wars Nerd too I have some of the Star Wars Nerf blasters
Me:why should we buy from out of darts?
Captain Xavier:because he’s cool
Also because he has amazing customer service, absurdly fast shipping, good prices, and only sells high quality parts that he has tested thoroughly...and because he is cool. ;)
You should be a salesman

THE TRUTH IS REVEALED
Huh. The new Han Solo blaster looks like it could be modified to look like a 10mm pistol from Fallout: New Vegas. Namely removing the barrel and scope and doing something about the handle. Then a paint job and it might make a good cosplay piece, especially if you take out the sounds.
Take put the sounds... or just don't put a battery in it. Either would work.
Magnus would look better than the Han blaster.
Kaleb Nolen Would it, though? The Han blaster has a better shape for what I'm thinking. You'd mostly just need to integrate a different handle and take off a few pieces then give it a paintjob and some other light shell work.
I like the single blaster mod guide combined with k26 testing idea

Anteater pit?
The storm trooper blaster is like a helios reskin.
it is actually
If I'm not mistaken, a retalicon spring will fit in the Han solo blaster if you pinch the ends smaller
Hate to be that nerd, but on the F-11D (the first order stormtrooper blaster), that’s not a folding stock. Apparently most retaliator springs will work.
I just realized that that is the perfect shape to make the 10mm pistol from fallout

All your content is great for lego to nerf and story time. And any changes to your channel will be welcomed keep up the good work cap. 🤘🧟♂️🧠
Do u know how much much the stormtrooper blaster is. I plan to get one
I only really hold nerf gun handles with my right hand unless I dual weild I operate mags and priming with my left hand is that normal?
What's sleep?

I was doing some excavation in my backyard, and accidentally dug up an anthill. Now I need an anteater to eat all these ants!
The Mod Guide/k26 guide is great idea would help many folks!
huh you could modify the first blaster to have a barrel attachment with some dremel & glue
can you nest the stock spring inside the k26 in the stormtrooper blaster?
No. They are too close to the same diameter and the frequencies are to different.
I personally love the "word from our sponsor" bit that you and out of darts have going on, keep up the good work. May I suggest you do some reviews with more of a modder's perspective in mind instead of simply reviewing the blaster this would give your reviews a unique perspective.
Yeah, but that means the Han blaster can take a retaliator spring!
The explanation I think you were looking for is that the coils of the stock spring have a lower frequency than K26
If u have a spare stockade, could u maybe put out a rewire guide or just a mod guide in general,i cant seem to find one and u explain things very well
Please guys no jolt reskin jokes, they are getting painful.

You mention that there are upgrade springs available for the Han Solo blaster. I don't suppose you have any idea where I could find one, do you?

Thanks very much for taking a look though.
@@totophi Thanks, I shall give that a try.
@@maximumbob350: Sure! Please reply with your findings! If your experiment fails, I will have to update the K26 database to reflect that.

I have the elite first order blaster and it’s pump action, was saddened to see the rival version was not.
does k26 spring mean a 26 killgram spring?
No
I got a question,
How can I find someone who does good nerf mad commisions?
Try Nerf Modders Welcome on Facebook.
I was wondering about the star wars rival one cool. Fan from Illinois
Isn’t anteater...oh I stand corrected
Taking a second look at this it seems the plunger tube and plunger are more like a Hades. I don't think I can get 15 coils in a Helios.
Most if not all rival springers can take k26 correct?
That is correct
That is what I thought we have seen so far.

That stormtrooper blaster has an awful lot of internal space. Power stock potential at the very least.
Probably. But until someone figures out how to make rival rounds not become incredibly inaccurate at higher FPS there really isn't much point. :(
i think the storm trooper blaster is just an apollo/helios reshell lol
I’ve always thought “Can it take a tech6?” Would be an interesting series
I'm early!! Great video!!👍🔫
Is it ever not dark and raining where you are?
Nope.
Is k26 I 26 kilogram spring? Someone please tell me
No
Oh what Is it? Also owo I got replied to by someone famous!
k26 is the last 3 characters in the springs part number from the manufacturer. The weight depends on the length you cut it to.
I personally think that you should keep the k26 series as it is now.
Captain, I think you would like Fallout 4, the mods for most weapons are cool and if 1st person makes you dizzy, you can switch to 3rd person at any time
3rd person is even worse for me. Unless is it zoomed out as far as say Diablo I and II were.
@@CaptainXavier .....well fallout 4 doesn't zoom out that far, but fallout 1 and 2 are diablo style
I support the idea of more focused CITAK26? Episodes
What do you do with the hundreds of blasters you buy man?
I use them in builds, commissions, give them to friends, give them to family, some I return to Goodwill after I have tested them.
@@CaptainXavier cool kinda figured such just was wondering.
