One more great thing about the talon: its plunger tube doesnt have those stupid slots on the sides that the bigshock had. It’s actually a full plunger! thats why it can vacuum load.

When you thread a spring onto a closed rod, like with the Talon, if you give yourself just a little extra length you can take pliers and curve the unfinished edge of the spring out so that it doesn't dig into the post as much, and just clip the end of it off once it's threaded, but trimming the end is a bit of a hassle. Kinda just a preference call. #IMaybeLearnedTheHardWay
Have you done the x-shot kickback (adventure force hypershot) yet? If not, do that one! Its only $4 at walmart, so if it works with k26 it could be a great budget pistol!

Measuring Springs Given how Often you use k26, you might consider measuring/calculating the min compressed height of a given number of coils Then rather than guess+check how much to use, just measure the plunger tube space and directly calculate the number of k26 coils...

Have you ever tried rotating the priming bar on jolt-style blasters (so the crossbar is in line with the barrel)? I find this primes the blaster much more comfortably.
I can say that if I should decide to take the MEGA-TALON into combat, It'll be very well modded with a Longer-Handle, Bigger-Plunger-Tube... Unless, I should lose a pinky-finger 1st, then it'll be fine like it is.😁😃😇🤓😎🤠 MrScott54, BionicBlasters.

I actually made a k26 demolisher rocket talon. Though I took off the head, it was not too difficult to do, just like the tabs and then epoxied onto the plunger rod.

The megalodon is the best mega blaster in my opinion. The 20 darts of mega and the shotgun cylinder plus the addition of making it fire darts at 150+ fps. And it being easy to modify.

I still find it funny how the internals of the Bigshock (and to an extent the Talon) are essentially just an oversized Jolt, but they put a lot of extra plastic on top of them. Someone could effectively make a replacement shell which fits near-precisely to the proportions of the Bigshock's internals and make an actual "MEGA Jolt".
It was fun to watch you upgrade your Talon. I added Foam Technicians HotShock Elite Super Magnum Kit to my HotShock and added the HotShock spring to my Talon along with the A/R removal. Mine hits in the mid 70's with Mega, and around 130 with the HotShock Elite Super Magnum Kit installed. BANGARANG!
I'm trying to make a long barrel rotofury. I have the PVC cut so the darts will rotate through. It is stuck down the barrel. maybe you would want too try something silly like that?
I tried to put a stock Kronos spring my Mega Talon and it wouldn't catch....it was the same 10 coils that the k26 you used was, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't. Any Ideas or tips?
Is it not catching because of not enough compression? Or is catching but then immediately releasing because the catch is not strong enough to hold the weight?

I want to see a video of you shooting your entire old loadout with the upgraded gear like your auto stryfes and any other small upgrades and with all the old stuff like the wrist raider,arm mounted rocket launcher and the shoulder weapon and of course you have to use EIR

I think the only problem with it is that the shell reinforces the snapped-on parts, so they'd be a ton weaker.

Fun fact: Walcom actually modified the Talon to fire ULTRA darts in one of his videos, called it the ULTRA ZERO.
And it looked Legit.
Afaict , it fired better than any of the actual ultra springers so far, too.

I have a suggestion for you. You can try to make a mauser C96 out of the talon. I looks kind of alike but the barrel is too short.

I prefer orange. So I tend to favor Red because it paints to orange better.

There is Meaker's design that is a mag-fed Knockout, and they hit hard when well-tuned. Performance is very similar to Cartaya's Mauserfire.

I modified my talon with a 9kg worker stampede spring after removing the dart post and air restrictor
