@@p170n Right, I used to do that but stopped because it seemed like I wasn't improving. Maybe I'll take a little extra time.
It looks almost chromatic with just hammer ons and pull offs with 3rd harmonies. I'd really recommend also working on your finger strength, practise it at 50% speed to a click on a clean channel and work on really getting the hammer ons and pull offs to accent. If you can't do it in a clean channel, doing it in a gain channel will stop your progress. Also watch the way Jason Richardson plays, it'll really help you mute the other strings

Turn towards the video camera so everyone can see the fretboard better. Also Are you posting videos to show off or are you using them as a teaching tool? If as a teaching tool you have to communicate with the viewers to explain the chords and scales involved in the song structure.

I hate to be this person, but i think this was faked. Watch a few times when he does the vibrato, its non existent and a few times the strumming patterns didnt match up but yet sounded flawless with the song. I think the backing track drowns out him playing.
I don't even think I can hear him..
Probably just pre recorded like 95% of covers anyway.
