That's how it works, transistor will only work until the the receiver is getting signal from remote, it cannot be stable as shown in video, it's fake he is controlling it by switch
This circuit is incorrect because the relay switches as long as there is a frequency. As soon as you remove your finger from the control button, the connection is disconnected and the relay returns to its original state.

Hi, I built this circuit but the light goes off as soon as I stop pressing the remote button. No latching taking place by bc547. Any idea why?
