You might have encountered Riichi Mahjong in the Yakuza series, by watching the Akagi or Saki anime, or you might have seen your favorite VTubers from Hololive or Nijisanji playing. The rules are virtually identical whether you're playing in Yakuza, FFXIV, Mahjong Soul, Tenhou, or Riichi City.

Event-tip, I cleared the whole event by exclusively going for 13-orphans, 13-wait. I got talismans that trivialize the score later on, and I always tried to max out my exchanges first.

Easy way to go crazy on the event is to upgrade tile exchanges a bunch and just fish for honors, pretty consistently get double/triple yakuman hands and snatch the extra star tokens for getting 500% over!
