That library card is the cutest idea!!! I secretly loved doing book reports when I was a kid - nerdy I know. I'm actually starting The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo tomorrow so this is super exciting!!! It's been on my list for the longest. I'm def adding the rest of your recs to my list! Thank you for sharing, Booktuber Job 🥰

I would love a video on your typewriter and how you use it for journaling! I have an old typewriter I’d love to use, I just have to find someone to repair it. Call Me By Your Name and Before the Coffee Gets Cold are both on my tbr this year! I think I’ll read them next!

Nice Video! I love to watch your videos. It’s always so relaxing! Thank you. 😊
I don‘t know if you noticed but in the Heartstopper spread you put the stars next to the „finished“ category instead next to the „rating“ category. I just wanted to say it in case you want to change it. 😉 greetings from germany ☺️

Enjoyed this video. I love journals and reading. I have used my Hobonichi weeks this year to document what books I've read.
Read and enjoyed both Evelyn and Call Me by Your Name.

This is was really interesting I have never journaled about the books I have read and this has definitely inspired me to try this method. Especially with my library books specifically since those are items that I won’t have in my home bookshelf. Where did you find the library stamp cards, that is a really cute idea for writing a note about these books. I am thinking about whether to place this in my Travelers notebook or my mini three ring binder so I take the pages out to decorate. Great video Job!

These pages are so pretty! I've been reading lots after many years of not doing it at all bc it's something to do in the middle of the night while I'm feeding the baby. I've been enjoying some of the James Bond books! Fleming has a style that really carries you along, and it's kind of hilarious how unlikable a character Bond is in the books

Ooo....so interesting to hear your take on these books.
I'm part of a bookclub, with 7 other people and we are currently reading, "Hidden Figures". I havent't actually started it yet but I like the discussion and different points of view from the group. Currently reading: Harry Potter's Chamber of Secrets. First time reading it...I got sucked in by the cover, they released a new cover series of an illustrated version.
    Oh my goodness....loved 'Amulet'!
OUr librarian got that series in for me ..since I recommended it to her and the kids at school just loved it too.

Luv it! 📚 I do keep a book journal that helps me keep track of all my series, authors, and new release dates. My first Journal is a disaster LOL. It did help me figure out how I wanted to set up my next Journal, so all was not lost.

So cool to keep a bookjournal. As a teacher in the Netherlands i read a lot young adults. E few months ago i did read in the Dutch language stilte heeft een eigen stem van Ruta Sepetys. I beleive in English it is the foutains of silence. I can really recommand that novel.

Your book report journal is so cute! I love the A6 size. I hope Sumkin starts making A6 size notebooks again now that they’ve rebranded and started up again!
For a book recommendation, have you read An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green? I loved it so much - it’s one of those books I couldn’t put down. Once I hit the halfway point, I knew I’d be up all night finishing it. It’s not like any other book I’ve ever read.

I love this and love the idea of documenting the books I read. I never considered doing a book report as a fun way to capture the essence of the book and remind myself of what I did and did not like. Thank you for sharing.

I liked your style for your reading/everything journal 🥰 .. Tou mentioned needing a stamp that said “currently reading “, I suggest these store for you to look at if you haven’t already : Everyday Explorers , Studio Calico, and Paper Person . One of them or all should have that stamp. Good luck 🤗

Love! I keep a similar journal to you. But I also use a Hobo weeks. On the monthly pages, I record how much I read each day. In the weekly section, I make notes, ask questions, predict outcomes or note characters as they appear, so I don’t forget who they are. In the yearly section, I write release dates for books I want to read or films of books!

If you want to try a fun comedy book, try Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, they are a hoot! First book is called “One for the Money”. An easy fun read to enjoy when you want your brain to just chill.
