Rock of love with Brett Micheals was the name of the show lol
It was my very guilty pleasure for sheer ridiculousness. Lol
He was on The Apprentice I believe as well
He was also on The Apprentice. His charity was for juvenile diabetes. Any pet items bought with his logo from the big pet store s go to animal shelters.
@@PureTexan First winner
@@roseannamanues2111 Celebrity Apprentice and he won. It was a major upset that I think even surprised Donald Trump. He beat Holly Robinson Peete in the finals.
Their song "Something to Believe In" is very good and has a deep message that can resonate with almost everyone.
Amen 😢
Epic song.
That's one of my most favorite songs from them. I enjoyed this one and Every Rose Has it's Thorn . Lots of good memories from both songs.
My friend died in 2001 from drugs. That song tears me up thinking of her.
My favorite poison song and the video is so sad knowing that the reaction to seeing his friend is genuine just kills me.
Bless your heart youngin! You need to take a deep dive into 80’s rock!!
Bret Michaels is definitely a member of the PDC. He was on Rock of Love on VH1 and also the Masked Singer.
Yes: Bret Michaels did a reality dating show where a bunch of girls competed for his affections.
Lead singer Brett Michaels, Guitar CeCe Deville, Bass Bobby Doll, drums Ricky Rocket. Brett Michaels was on the Mask Singer 2 years ago as the Banana.
This song is legendary…it was at number 1 on the Billboard top 100 for three weeks when most songs got just one or maybe two weeks in the entire 1980’s. It was and is my fave song ever!!!
I was a senior in high school - this song is one of the best of the 80s! All of the members of Poison are definitely members of the PDC! The lead singer is Bret Michaels. Oh, to be 18 again!
Lol, watching this reaction and your reaction to it is the same as mine. The 80’s were so much fun.
Lol same here
This is 100% a legendary rock song! Miss the 80’s!
I grew up in the 80's and they were one of those bands everyone loved. They have so many hits. You should react to "Nothing but a good time" and "Unskinny bop".
Don't forget "Something to believe in"
Poison never really got recognition from the music industry, but they did get recognition and love from millions of fans. That's what really matters.
Just saw them several months ago opening for Motley Crue and Def Leppard. They still sound as good as they did in the 80's. And they have such a great vibe, they still act like they are having the time of their lives on stage
Saw this same concert in San Antonio - Motley Crue needs to retire, but Joan Jett, Poison, and Def Leppard can still rock a stadium!
@@raymondcarver476Joan Jett and Def Leppard were still great, but Poison was definitely the most engaged/engaging, imo. And, they were, by far, my least favourite of the four back in the day.
The Crüe need to stop. I left before their set even ended.
I saw them last year, live. They sound just as amazing as they did back then.
My favorite Poison song has always been "Talk Dirty to Me". When I was young and in shape I wore a cut off Poison T-Shirt with that title on the back of it when I raced in 5Ks, 10Ks, triathlons etc. Always liked hearing the reaction people had to it when I passed them.
This was the second best love ballad of the 80s first being “Don’t know what you got till it’s gone “ by Cinderella
Brett Michaels - vocals, Bobby Dall - bass, CC Deville - guitar, Rikki Rockett - drums
Singer Bret Michaels was on Rock Of Love but he was also on The Apprentice with Donald Trump. The guitarist is C.C DeVille, bassist Bobby Dall, drummer Rikki Rokkett.
Great reaction Girl. I'm 66. So beautiful to see a younger generation appreciate the older CLASSICS. YOU ARE TRULY SPECIAL. Keep sharing the love. & God Bless You. And I made sure to read and like ALL COMMENTS.
Yes, Brett Michaels is gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous eyes and a beautiful voice. "Something to Believe In" is one you need to react to, but do the official video.
yes Brett Michaels...a great hair band from the 80's
Great band.
Saw them in New Orleans in 1988. One of my earliest concerts.
I remember when they came out. Yeah the 80s what a decade
Long live the power ballad
Brett is a beautiful man and can sing to boot !❤
Honey, that is Brett Michaels, and the show was Rock of Love! And that luscious guitar player is CC DeVille. Love, love Poison. And they definitely belong in the PDC! ❤❤❤
Ahh... Slow skate with your teenage love. Lol. Memories.
For all those that are saying the guitarist is C.C. Deville , in this video it is NOT C.C. He was kicked out of the band for cocaine use for a couple of years. The guitarist in this video is Ritchie Kotzen. He recorded 1 album and a live DVD with the band. He got kicked out when the band found out he stole the drummers fiance. To his credit he was married to her for 11 yrs after so it wasn't a wham bam thank you ma'am.
Richie's music with Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden (Smith/Kotzen) is some of the most underrated music out there. Richie is a truly amazing guitarist.
@@RedDawnRocker His stuff with the band Winery Dogs is fantastic too - their recent song "Xanadu" truly kicks ass.
I've seen these guys live 4 times and they never disappoint. I got to meet Bret Michaels about 8 years ago after a performance at a very small venue. He's a really, really nice guy.
Lets get rock!!!
I loved poison in Jr. HIgh and High School. Years later I would pass a house on my way to work and the Garage was painted to say Rock of Love. I drove by twice a day not knowing. Months later when the show came out I was crushed. Brett Michaels was there! And I just drove by. ☹️
That guitar player is Ritchie Kotzen. He filled in for their normal guitarist C.C. Deville when he was kicked out of the band for substance abuse. C.C. is back with the band.
LOL Yeah and Ritchie Kotzen got booted for banging the drummer's fiancé
That must be why the guitar music in this video doesn’t sound quite the same, I personally think CeCe is better.
"Rock of Love" is the reality show I think - Bret Michaels is the guy ❤
I’m a truck driver from the 80’s. I love Ute channel
Yes Brett Michaels He looks the same and sings the same today.
Bret got inducted 40 years ago, lol. He's stunning. The most gorgeous eyes you'll see in person.
Love the reaction! Fun fact Bret wrote this song in a laundry mat in Dallas TX. While on tour sorry just the music nerd in me. Yall have a blessed one!
He had a show that fixed up motor homes..can't remember what it was called. But Brett Michaels is awesome!!! 80's teenager here so yeah. Fine as wine in the Summertime ...
Okg my dad's favorite song r.i.p Dad 2014 gone but never forgotten pops
I’ve always loved this song
Poison has many "Guilty Pleasure Songs", but one that I just love that doesn't fall in that category is "Something to Believe in"
I love this song and omg Brett Michaels is so EFFING HOT🔥. Proud PDC member 👵🏼☮️💜
When I was in eighth grade my local neighborhood friends and I would meet and watch MTV top 10 in the morning before bmxing or skateboarding to school. Talk Dirty To Me was the big Poison song then. Summer before freshman year in high school Every Rose dropped all the panties!!!
Yes that's him!
You are the best and by far my favorite that does these videos. I love the way you break things down, you're very knowledgeable and you can sing too. I'm glad I came across your channel. I'm addicted to watching your videos now 😄. I'm disabled and try to find ways to spend my time. Thank you for helping me get through some tough days. You have a nice personality and easy on the eyes, so it all works out great. 😊
The 80s music will never die out they are forever
You can't have a PDC without Brett Michaels, wouldn't be right. And yes he had a show called Rock of Love
I just love Bret he is amazing. I love their song. Give Me Something To Believe In. A must listen to.
Poison is the definition of glam metal. They wore the crazy outfits, all had long hair and makeup, and their songs were so catchy, whether they were ballads like this or fast-paced bangers! It's a rabbit hole you'll enjoy going down..."Fallen Angel", "Unskinny Bop", "Nothin' But a Good Time", "Fallen Angel", "Something to Believe In", "Talk Dirty to Me", "I Won't Forget You"...all big radio hits in the '80s. Enjoy!
he was on Celebrity Apprentice as well
First song I ever learned on guitar
My favorite band and song growing up
Love me some Brett🤘💖 you should read about him. He’s lucky to be alive. He had a brain aneurysm burst
You should do more Poison
Greatest power ballad of all time. =)
I love Poison so much, but specifically Bret Michaels. He has been my rock & roll husband for 35 years... he just doesnt know it yet! 😏
My fiance' took me to see them in concert about 8 years ago. Front row seats!! My fiance' kept pointing me out every time he came to our seating area. He reached down smiled at me with them beautiful blue eys, winked at me, then grabbed my hand. I about lost it! I've seen them in concert 3 times. They're amazing live!
Poison were my first rock crushes and my first concert. I was obsessed! They have so many great songs. 🥰
Poison / Warrant was my first concert over 30 years ago
Please do their song, Something To Believe In with official video!
Lead singer Bret Michaels is an amazing person. Managing life as a major rock star and also a country music star coping with Type 1 diabetes. It ain't easy. Yes, Bret Michaels does reality TV nowadays. And has been a long time PDC member. Members of Poison are Guitar: C C Deville, drums: Rikki Rocket , bass/piano Bobby Dall, rythym guitar and lead vocals: Bret Michaels.
My high school boyfriend dedicated this song to me on the radio when I broke up with him in 1989 lol. Every time this song is played now my husband teases me mercilessly about it.
My first big break up, this song was on repeat. Ah, young love. The 80's had the best music in my opinion.
I haven't heard this for years yet as the song played I remembered all the lyrics and could sing along
Brett Michaels lead vocals acoustic guitar, C C Deville lead guitar vocals , Bobby Dall bass guitar and vocals and Ricky rocket drums
Brett Michaels, he also dated Pamela Lee Anderson before she started dating and married Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe.
Beautiful BRITT, another Great Reaction to a great song 🎧
Great 80's Ballad!!!
their only number-one hit in the US
Rock of love was the show and Brett Michaels is the name.
The guitar player is Ritchie Kotzen. He only played with Poison on one album. Yes, that's Brett Michaels singing.
Danced and Sung this song to both of my babies during the 'teething' years
They have been in the PDC for about 35 years … lol
Man.. this song. Brings me back. Such a classic
What I always loved about my Hair Bands and I also LOVE country music... they sound they same live as they do pretty much on their recordings
Brett Michaels he was on Rock of Love
I still listen to Hair Bands, with Poison being one of my all-time favorites. Love it...! 🫶
Yes it’s bret Micheal
This song makes an appearance in a funny Dave Chappelle skit with musician John Mayer called "What Makes White People Dance"
Britt!
Unexpected reaction lmao . Some of us where there when it came out .Nice job Britt
Brett Michaels is the singer and I do believe he had a reality show. I think this performance was without the guitarist CC Deville. The shirtless guy was not him. CC went through some rehabilitation for many years and found religion. I saw them live in 2018 and was really impressed, after hating them in the 80's. Back then they got a lot of back lash for being too glam metal. CC went through quite a bit. But when I saw them 5 years ago when he was back with them he was pretty impressive and the band put on a great show. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did.
I just saw them do a small casino show in August and they were incredible. Definitely gave it their all and interact with the fans so much!
More Poison please 🙏
I'd crank this one up back in the day
They truly are Rock Royalty! No doubt about it! Every girl wanted them and every guy wanted to be them!
The guitar player is CC Deville
Being a teenager in the 80's, class of 91, Poison's open up and say....ahh was one of my top albums. I wore it out. Loved every song on it. In my opinion, that album and Looked What the Cat Dragged in was their best stuff. I still enjoy those albums.
Class of 93. I agree
Of Course I Love Britt…..another Great Reaction Britt 💯❤️💯
C.C. DeVille is a guitarists who doesn't get the props he deserves. Most rock guitarists from this era could make a guitar scream, but I've only heard C.C. make it level off. Listen life goes on to get what I'm talking about.
Most definitely the pdc 😊
playing the guitar like that is cc deville
Bret michaels vocals,c.c deville guitar, rikki rocket drums and bobby dall bass
Loved Brett singing this. Always has been a fav of mine
The name of the guitar player is C.C Deville
Life Goes On is an anthem for anyone in a long distance relationship
Rock of Love on MTV
I miss the 80s!! Class of '89!!🤘🤘
This song resonated with me as a long haired country boy in my youth.
How much do I love that you just used the word "gallivanting"?! 💛💙💜💚❤😂
Love love love
Takes me right back to the 80’s. Love it
