Also guys sorry for any muck ups. Teaching a game, while playing it to camera (and relying on Justin to build a deck properly :P ), and keep the game pace going is tough. But I do hope you can learn from our mistakes.
I'm gonna second the cutting out the settlement phase was a huge mistake. If anything needed to be cut for length, the battle did. Particularly the long stretches of no successes.
This game, the way it's designed, the artwork that goes into it, the way the gameplay feels organic and unique, is absolutely enthralling. I would love to play, and I'm sure this would be a staple of any tabletop collection. That being said, and keep in mind I am saying this from the prospective of someone who is NOT a regular tabletop gamer, $300 - $400 for a board game of any kind is absolutely insane. I understand there are hours and hours of content here and I appreciate the level of artistry that goes into it, but for that price you could buy an entire game console that has a massive library of very diverse content to pick from with more content constantly being developed for it. I love this game, but that price tag is kind of ridiculous in my opinion, at least for anyone who isn't a hardcore tabletop gamer and already has a group of dedicated players that plays on a regular basis, and groups like that generally already favor RPG staples like DnD or Warhammer. Even though this was designed with tabletop play in mind, this would probably have more commercial success with a cheaper, more readily available digitized version of the core game with additional full priced expansions, not unlike the digital steam versions of Magic The Gathering and other tabletop digital conversions of board and card games. It would admittedly be cool to see some of these gorgeous monster models fully animated in an interactive medium. As it stands, I love it, I love watching other people who have it play, but as an average gamer with mostly internet friends, $400 for just one game of anything is insane to me.
Wish we'd see the settlement phase, the fight was a bit long and settlement brings story fluff. Imo would have been more fun to cut a bit of the fight and show settlement. Nice video nonetheless.

This was a tough episode to watch. You could see the frustration creeping in. The first 2 episodes did this game enough justice for me though, wish I could afford to back it. Looking forward to the next Lantern year.
Whoops! You said this 11 months ago but I never noticed for some reason! I just happened to be rewatching the video today. If you roll the hit dice and the location dice at the same time and the monster gets one hit and one miss, how do you know which location die to use? If there's a way to make it work, I like that idea better, but I can't think of a way to fairly determine what location was hit.

Great presentation as always! That was a tough fight :-D Just wanted to point out a few things for those who are interested in rules-stuff: -The founding stone only does a critical wound IF there is a critical wound effect on the hit location card. In this case, there was none, so it wouldn't even do a normal wound. -You can activate terrain while adjacent to it as well, you do not need to stand on top of it. -If a monster ends its movement on top of a survivor it (the survivor) suffers knockback 5 and collision (knocked down)
actually I don't think you are correct on the critical wound. it does a wound regardless unless it's a trap. in fact that's one of the reasons a lot of groups save founding stones for the butcher fight (which doesn't have crits on his hit locations)
Unfortunately it's not a wound :/ From the FAQ: "A hit location must have a critical wound effect on it for a critical wound to be inflicted on a monster."
a wound is not a critical wound though. For example if a location doesnt have a critical wound and you roll a lantern 10 with a bone axe you dont get to double the wound. But you still get a wound. It was correct for them to still apply the regular wound.
It's been confirmed in both the official faq and by the creator :) using a founding stone on a hit location without a critical wound effect does absolutely nothing.
Overall good video. It was interesting to see how different of a fight this beast was. I would have probably liked to see less of the repetative fight failure and seen the settlement phase. Not sure how long that phase actually took though. Anyway, hungry for more.
Yah, it's pretty amazing how different every encounter feels. I hope they get to the Butcher so people can see that. And the hand after that is just crazy different than anything else.
Missed something pretty important when you were attacking the Giant Mouth hit location "If attacking with Fist & Tooth, suffer the dismembered severe arm injury."
@@JackgarPrime Yeah, it can be pretty nice especially in the early stages in the game. But eventually you do hit a point where you have enough gear that just attacking gives you a good chance of taking of 2 or more wounds every single time you attack pretty much making Cat eye a waste of your activation for the most part. Also I was pretty much just refering to the armor set. We still get Cat Gut Bow and Claw Head Arrow 100% of the time. King's Spear is nice to have too because you can get it pretty early and won't get a better spear until the finger of god which will take awhile.
If you throw a founding stone and draw a hit location card that has NO critical wound effect then the founding stone deals no wounds at all and gets archived. Just for future reference.
I guess that has been said before, but on attacking that giant mouth with bare hands and failing to wound it, you'd get ur arm ripped off cause of the failure. :) GG otherwise :)

Richard West I figured it was the 250 option, when you pledged did you get any response to the length it would take to receive the game? I'm worried I will pledge all this money, and have to wait years like the first kickstarter
This long-winded fight actually cooled my interest in backing this game a bit. I'm even more looking forward to the next play session videos now to see if the following content is again more tactical and less luck-driven (all those bad luck dice rolls!!!).
It can happen, but that is the nature of the game. But trust me, we were rather tactical given we stayed out of the trample zones, which could easily have pummelled us. However, that did mean relying on some slower weapons.
35:00 wouldn't you first get pushed into the edge by the monster, and get "trampled once", then as he continues to move in that direction. The monster pushes you again along the board edge, and tramples you a second time..?
Angelicus - This is quite a bit late on this but here's what happens if a monster passes through/ occupies the space that a player is on. What's important is that you need to finish the monster's movement before moving your survivors. If, after the monster has moved, the monster has passed through the space of that of a player, that player is knocked down (and takes trample damage in the case of the Antelope). If the monster ended it's movement on top of a player, the same thing happens, but the player also takes knockback away from the monster equal to their movement. So, no, you wouldn't take trample damage twice, but they did put the character in the wrong spot. I'm assuming that they forgot they weren't fighting a Lion, because if that was a Lion moving and had the "grab" effect, then it would have been done correctly. Hopefully that was simple to understand.

Poots said in a comment that he may need to push core wave to Winter of 2017 but wants to hit Summer 2017 still. He had 5,000 backers before and made 10,000 core games. Even if he had started production he may not have predicted the level this second campaign would jump and may need to increase the order and lead time for core items.
Haha, all that talk about powering up their new savior with gear... All I could think was "Yeah, but one bad dice roll and she'll get her head twisted off like a bottle cap, same as anybody else." Can't wait to watch more. (Also can't wait for the 1.5 core games to start shipping! Hope that estimated ship date of 'Summer 2017' for the core and update doesn't slip _too_ much...)
Kane856 if u backed u should be getting the core box or the update next year hopefully. it says it'll ship out 2017. the new expansions and everything else ship out the following years
Ah, no. You are only pushed if it lands on you. So really you get trampled once, and instead of shooting into the wall, you should have been knockedback to the side.... i think, to lazy to check the book..... anyway. So far pretty fun to watch you guys :P
Hmmm. I'm getting conflicting rules here. I thought the rules states if the Hit Location card doesnt have a Critical Hit section, it becomes a MISS, not even a regular wound.
Assuming this is referring to Founding Stones (16:00), then yes. The ability of the Founding Stone will only work if there is a Critical Wound effect. For a lengthy explanation why... The reason is because the Founding Stone's ability only inflicts a Critical Wound. It does not make a normal Wound Attempt roll nor does it say it gives an automatic wound. To deal a Wound to a monster, you must either make a Wound Attempt surpassing the monster's toughness, roll a Lantern 10, or roll a Critical Wound. Since you don't roll for a Founding Stone's ability, the first two ways to wound a monster don't work since you need to roll. That only leaves Critical Wounds as the only way for Founding Stone's ability to deal a Wound. If there is no Critical Wound effect on the Hit Location, you cannot deal a Critical Wound which will nullify the Founding Stone's ability. All in all, be careful about when you throw your stones so you don't waste them. --- *Critical Wounds* _(from pg. 75 from 1.0 rulebook)_ "A critical wound occurs when a wound roll result is a lantern 10 on a hit location with a critical would effect. Critical wounds are lucky blows that always wound a monster, even if the hit strength does not exceed the monster's toughness. Luck increases the range of the round roll results considered critical wounds. A hit location without a critical wound listed cannot be critically wounded." *Founding Stone* _(from the gear card)_ Archive this card for 1 automatic hit that inflicts a critical wound.
I don't agree with this rule. First, the rulebook specifically says that critical wounds are lucky blows that "always wound a monster." Critical wounds don't have reactions, they have additional "effects." See the KD living glossary: any survivor may use survival after a critical wound "effect." Thus, a critical wound does not have a "reaction" but may or may not have an "effect," but it "always wound[s] a monster." Traps, of course, being the exception as they have they're own set of rules. So, chucking the stone cause a critical wound that "always wound[s] a monster" but has no additional "effect."
The question is... if a Critical Wound is always a Wound but if you can't cause a Critical Wound since there is no Critical Wound effect, would the Founding Stone even Wound? The Founding Stone's ability is weird because it causes an automatic Hit but doesn't cause an automatic Wound. While it's true that a Critical Wound causes a Wound, that's only if you can Critical Wound. It probably works this way since there's a slight distinction between an automatic Wound (lantern 10) and a Critical Wound (lantern 10 modified by luck). It is totally possible to roll a lantern 10 and cause an automatic Wound but not cause a Critical Wound if the monster has additional luck to push up that Critical Wound range. It's an odd situation exclusive to Founding Stones where interpretation is up in the air but it has been clarified and ruled by Adam. *Adam:* "Critical Wounds ONLY occur on hit locations with critical wound effects. If there is no critical wound effect, the location cannot be crit. In the case of a founding stone, that means the stone does NOTHING to such a location." It doesn't stop you from house ruling it so it counts as a Wound but there's the official ruling.
using the founding stone just for a random dmg is a huge mistake. only use it to ensure a monsterKILL at the end of a close fight, or to get a big critreward of ahitlocation u have checked before
It's definitely a financial commitment, that's for sure. However, I bought it at the full retail price of $400 and haven't regretted it at all. The miniatures are absolutely amazing and the depth the game provides is astounding. You'll love your first play through as you are constantly surprised by the world of Kingdom Death and you'll love your thousandth play through as you try to optimize your group and gain the best gear. I don't know what your financial situation is but, as far as the value of the game goes, it is worth every penny.
MrKingmeander just seen your reply and I caved and bought it. But the one thing is the 3D board they put up. Had to back that. Thankyou for the reply. I've watched all your videos and they are very informative . Looking forward to the next one. Also after seeing your mythic pantheon play through I was wondering have you seen or had chance to play the game 'the edge'?
Everytime you get the "trap" you should be mimicking Admiral Ackbar "It's a Trap!" Also The monster went over the pillar? I thought it blocked sight and movement 53.40
It depends how the targeting is resolved on the card. Threat, and line of sights my or may not be requisites for how it attacks. Monsters can move over terrain, an ever destroy some.
My first fight against the antelope. First thing it did was eat my character and bite my leg off. My team got me out before it could do anymore damage but I'm actually turning into the biggest badass and the sole founder remaining. With one leg.
We actually came back from an easy level 1 lion hunt to have spiderlings parachuting into our settlement and my one legged legend screamed until he passed out and all four of our heroes including him died fighting them. We then only had 3 survivors left so we tried to make a baby. We did. Then we tried to make a second. She died during child birth and went back to 3. My friend said fuck it and we hunted the pheonix with our remaining heroes who were all first hunts. The first monster hunt card we landed on the pheonix erased all the survivors from existence and that was how our campaign ended.
Thanks for doing this series guys, you are good to watch, entertaining and a good explanation of the game. But, my gosh, that was a tedious fight. Super-fiddly rules and really no tactical or strategic payoff. No meaningful decisions; roll, rinse and repeat. Even if it wasn't so expensive I'd choose not to back it after watching that! I'd definitely echo the other comments that I'd much rather watch you guy discussing the settlement options than seeing the summary although I appreciate that hunt went WAY longer than you anticipated. Maybe split into 2 vids if the editing overhead isn't too bad?
The thing it, and I hope you appreciate this, we got suckered by a bad batch of AI cards that made it into the final few after wound were done. Tactically we were quite good, because the antelope has corridors it can trample down, and hit multiple survivors. We played in a manner to mitigate that. However, those last few AI cards, couple with some really bad rolls and multiple traps is what drew the fight out. But then that can happen. Plus, as some have said, going for the antelope in lantern year 3 is not the best option always, and our decision to do so was more to showcase sooner how different that hunt is. As the survivors and the settlement advance, and new weapons, armour and abilities are unlocked, more options become available.
Thanks for the reply :) I totally get how this came about, I was just thinking I'd be REALLY disappointed in the game if I'd been playing, I could see you guys getting frustrated, at least I could fast forward a bit!
So I got my copy but was wondering since this is a VERY adult style game (and I thank you for it)..is there a good ending for the campaign? Looking through and just curious but don't want to really spoil it for those who are playing though the first time.
Kind of hilarious how your bruiser who you'd expect to penetrate the monster's armor kept hitting trap after trap. If you had harped away the trait card that gave the monster the toughness token would the token be removed along with it? Also, it's a shame that you guys always interpreted your tooth and claw hits as grabbing rather than biting.
Hm that guy for an experienced player he really does alot of things wrong... The antilope doesn't cause knockback when it moves over a survivor. It's just collision meaning you only get knocked down. You get knock back when it ends it's movement on your space... dohhh where is he making all these rules up?
hello, at min 48:33 you said the mood cards are going bach to the ai deck, thats not correct!! see whats in the official faq: Do survivors need to remove a monster's in-play Mood or Trait cards to defeat it?No. A monster is defeated when it is wounded and there are no cards in the AI deck or discard to move to the Wound Stack (pg.217, Core Game Book).
yes thats true, as any decision in this dark world - wow what a great game, and by the way - thank you all for this nice play trough - all you three guys :-)

i have to say that this video really disappointed me.. i LOVED the first two, but i was so much looking forward to settlement phase and you totally skipped that part (all the deciding on what to create, invent etc). please dont do that again
As has been said, because of time limitations, and the fact that the settlement phase can be a lot of haggling, we won't always show it unless it is significant. The next video will have the entire deal. When you have a day and a half to fit in 5 sessions of the game plus other bits, we need at times to make executive decisions. I hope you can understand that.
you CAN play this online, i think. tabletop simulator has a workshop file that includes textures for the models(maybe) and all the cards and stuff dunno about the DLC. and tabletop simulator doesnt have to be bought on steam for full price, its always cheaper on G2A for anyone watching this in 2019- i mean 2020. imagine writing 2020 in your lifetime man what a decade. good vid very insightful for when ill get to play a sesh with the bois
Looks like a convoluted board game with a ridiculous price-tag. The setup between phases is too long, the learning curve is too steep for a quick pickup boardgame, the mechanics to complex and bogged down by long reading sessions, its phases reflect something that would have been better as a video game, and every time I see all of these mechanics smashed into this game, I'm glad it was well thought-out, but there was no way to make the game time-friendly with everything that was slammed into it. This is a game for a very specific gaming group; one with time, space, consistent members, and loads of patience. Not to discredit the fun that can be had with the game, but it is important to point out a game's flaws along with its accolades. I'd like to try it to disprove what I have seen, heard, and what the boardgame community reflects, but the price tag keeps me away. This is doubly true when the price tag matches the combined prices of several board games that you would get more mileage from.
True and I'm hoping we can get a few more skills set up to do more damage when the dice gods don't decide that we have displeased them and give us good rolls :) BoW Justin
I was interested in this game, but it seems the game needs constant discussion; debate; interpretations; and tons of fiddly rules and mechanics. Watched all 3 Lantern Years now, and I don't think there was ONE turn or action where you just get to play the darned game. Instead it's a legal court case for most every action, with debate instead of fun. No thanks.
I realize the first batch of videos is already recorded, but in the future make sure you to remember to not spend survival to dodge during your own attacks. You aren't allowed to take survival actions for any reason until your attack action finishes.

I just found ya'lls channel. It's spectacular! Good job guys!
PlayStyleArcade - Thanks mate, we also have a main website where we have a fantastic community of gamers from all over the world chatting and enjoying the hobby together.

The wait until summer 2017 is so long
Over 10,000 backers- no way the core game is coming out this year.
Sean Thompson I hope you're right, but i get the feeling this is WAY bigger than Poots thought it would be.
Hope that estimated ship date of 'Summer 2017' for the core and update doesn't slip _too_ much...)
good video! what is the black board you use to increase the play area on the table made of? it looks really sturdy, is it plywood?
Yes that's a plywood table topper, we add some non slip mat to the bottom to keep it stable

I thought you wont't continue with year three. So glad you did. Is there any other way to get the game other than kickstarter?
the first print sold out, so no. After the reprint it will be in the kingdom death store but cost more than the ks at the same shipping.
This is like a crazy mix of Monster Hunter, X-Com, Darkest Dungeon and Miyazaki’s Hidetaka’s nightmares.
Loving these videos folks - would have in on the new KS like a flash if it wasn't for the 2020 delivery date ...
Kane856 if u backed u should be getting the core box or the update next year hopefully. it says it'll ship out 2017. the new expansions and everything else ship out the following years
at the ks page scroll down at the max end of the page and read about shipping waves ;)
spydfire cheers 😀
New drinking game:
Take a shot every time you hear 'mmhmm'
Dead in 2 minutes.
lol. I never noticed the mmhmm's till this comment, Im 37 minutes in... its been 5 minutes n Ive already cracked open 2 bottles.
Or everytime he "flips you off" unintentionally.
Itd be nice if that super saiyan would let people make their own decisions
Ah, no. You are only pushed if it lands on you. So really you get trampled once, and instead of shooting into the wall, you should have been knockedback to the side.... i think, to lazy to check the book..... anyway. So far pretty fun to watch you guys :P
Awesome video. I would have liked to see the settlement phase, even thought the video was getting long, I still find the decisions fun.
I was also looking forward to the settlement phase. Disappointed that they skipped over it as if it wasn't important or interesting.
We were up against a time limit with recording these. But we don't skip the next one.
cool
Awesome Video! Can't wait for the next lantern year!
This is so much fun to watch. I hope you do more of them. 8)
---
*Critical Wounds* _(from pg. 75 from 1.0 rulebook)_
"A critical wound occurs when a wound roll result is a lantern 10 on a hit location with a critical would effect. Critical wounds are lucky blows that always wound a monster, even if the hit strength does not exceed the monster's toughness. Luck increases the range of the round roll results considered critical wounds. A hit location without a critical wound listed cannot be critically wounded."
*Founding Stone* _(from the gear card)_
Archive this card for 1 automatic hit that inflicts a critical wound.
So it should be a Miss when he threw the founding stone into the "ferocious spasm" ?
Yes, the Founding Stone should have failed to cause a Wound. The Ferocious Spasm HL only has a Reflex and no Critical Wound effect.
In the case of a founding stone, that means the stone does NOTHING to such a location."
It doesn't stop you from house ruling it so it counts as a Wound but there's the official ruling.
The dice really was not on your side this time.
using the founding stone just for a random dmg is a huge mistake. only use it to ensure a monsterKILL at the end of a close fight, or to get a big critreward of ahitlocation u have checked before
Please keep this episodes coming
8:20 i thought the antelope escaped outside a 9 or ten, why didnt you do another event card? The hunt wasnt sposed to start i think?
Have to ask...are you going to do a FULL campaign?
Yes. But broken up over a few "seasons" as we record these sessions in a block.
you guys going to play lantern year six anytime soon?
Been really thinking hard whether to kickstart this so much?
Everytime you get the "trap" you should be mimicking Admiral Ackbar "It's a Trap!"
Also The monster went over the pillar? I thought it blocked sight and movement 53.40
It depends how the targeting is resolved on the card. Threat, and line of sights my or may not be requisites for how it attacks. Monsters can move over terrain, an ever destroy some.
Next ep please. Edge of my seat!
Stay tuned until Friday :)
The antelope really taught us a lesson!
Warren
Am I mistaken, or does the Bone Dart say discard to archive after use? Meaning you can't use it more than the one time, yet you used it repeatedly.
Nope. That is only if it breaks due to Frail.
Darker Days Radio Gotcha.
My first fight against the antelope. First thing it did was eat my character and bite my leg off. My team got me out before it could do anymore damage but I'm actually turning into the biggest badass and the sole founder remaining. With one leg.
Important to remember that you are fighting for all your survivors. You will see us switch up who controls which character as the campaign progresses.
That is rough!
will you guys do year 4?
Hi Elni, we currently have filmed up to year 5 in the can and waiting to go out
Great video. Love this series! I’ve really enjoyed watching the three of you play this game. Sub’d!
Dosen't the perfect hit mean always hit?
What are you guys using for the tabletop?
The board? That is what comes with the game. It has a grid on it.
No, the black board underneath it.
oh, and doesnt it say that if the monster steps on an obstacle, its removed from play? The monster kinda just rushes trough it.
Bloody hell!! enjoyed the video but the Mmhhmm every 3 seconds totally killed it and made me unable to watch it all haha xD
Really enjoying this.
mmmhmmm
how do you buy this and from where?
www.kickstarter.com/projects/poots/kingdom-death-monster-15
So I got my copy but was wondering since this is a VERY adult style game (and I thank you for it)..is there a good ending for the campaign? Looking through and just curious but don't want to really spoil it for those who are playing though the first time.
Good is relative. There is success for sure. But is it all roses and unicorns. No.
This goat makes me want to scream
Was waiting for this!
several missed rolls warren forget to roll tics twice, and john diden't get a hit on the tounge since he had a -str token
Amazing videos! :D
The constant rules corrections are painful, the same point being explained about reactions for example.
42:55 NO, dont touch the furry tail! Its a trap!
I am unsure if ya'll are fully reading each card. Some conditions are located further down the card so ensure you actually read the card fully people.
greatest minute ever
Kind of hilarious how your bruiser who you'd expect to penetrate the monster's armor kept hitting trap after trap. If you had harped away the trait card that gave the monster the toughness token would the token be removed along with it?
Also, it's a shame that you guys always interpreted your tooth and claw hits as grabbing rather than biting.
Interesting points, we're gonna have to look into that!
Thanks for posting! :)
Warren
Hm that guy for an experienced player he really does alot of things wrong... The antilope doesn't cause knockback when it moves over a survivor. It's just collision meaning you only get knocked down. You get knock back when it ends it's movement on your space... dohhh where is he making all these rules up?
Dont skip the settlement phase! ☹
seriously under equipped for this fight I think.
this would be a great system for a monster hunter board game
hello, at min 48:33 you said the mood cards are going bach to the ai deck, thats not correct!! see whats in the official faq:
Do survivors need to remove a monster's in-play Mood or Trait cards to defeat it?No. A monster is defeated when it is wounded and there are no cards in the AI deck or discard to move to the Wound Stack (pg.217, Core Game Book).
I think you miss my point. Justin wanted to use the Harp, which would return the mood card back to the ai deck and so give it back a wound to remove.
oh yea, you´re right, had a look on the harp ability :-) thanks
It's a risk to balance. Get a mood card out of play and have to deal that wound or risk the monster being more potent.
yes thats true, as any decision in this dark world - wow what a great game, and by the way - thank you all for this nice play trough - all you three guys :-)
epic fight, im desperate and frustrated just watching it but it was a way if fun geeez
thx for playing this game so i don't have to :D
i love the play throug, this game is fun to watch and defiantly NOT play :D
Gaping Dragon is cooler than Gaping Antilope.
I requested a late pledge. Anyone know the odds of that being granted?
It's a shame one can't just order the game...though I suppose it's understandable.
Mmh hmm...
oh and about moving. monster always moves trough a survivor if it can. If you want to go full rulebook version :P
I'm not a fan of the min maxer on the right constantly reading out the entire card every single time.
Pretty sure you guys screwed up the setup of the AI deck. Traits shouldn't be in there.
Ahh, you guys figured it out 33 minutes in
Scott Johnson I know. unfortunate but at least it is an example of things to look out for so you guys at home don't make our mistakes.
that's my bad, Chris handed me the cards before filming and I shuffled the lot by mistake :)
BoW Justin
Around 1:09:00 the blode guy is getting impatient that the guy in green is taking so long drawing hit location / attack cards. lol.
i have to say that this video really disappointed me.. i LOVED the first two, but i was so much looking forward to settlement phase and you totally skipped that part (all the deciding on what to create, invent etc). please dont do that again
As has been said, because of time limitations, and the fact that the settlement phase can be a lot of haggling, we won't always show it unless it is significant. The next video will have the entire deal. When you have a day and a half to fit in 5 sessions of the game plus other bits, we need at times to make executive decisions.
I hope you can understand that.
you CAN play this online, i think. tabletop simulator has a workshop file that includes textures for the models(maybe) and all the cards and stuff dunno about the DLC. and tabletop simulator doesnt have to be bought on steam for full price, its always cheaper on G2A for anyone watching this in 2019- i mean 2020. imagine writing 2020 in your lifetime man what a decade.
good vid very insightful for when ill get to play a sesh with the bois
sooo annoying i can't play this game :(
Hopefully everyone who is backing the Kickstarter will get to play next summer! :D
The combat mechanics is what's keeping me from buying this game.
seems a little easy, id heard kingdom death was very murderous
Given I have played the game a lot, consider this an "optimal run".
This is doubly true when the price tag matches the combined prices of several board games that you would get more mileage from.
with its annoying AI deck and your rolling that fight was horribly annoying. Avoid hinting those.
It's good loot though. By next time we should be sporting a few more ranged weapons and be getting in wounds more easily.
True and I'm hoping we can get a few more skills set up to do more damage when the dice gods don't decide that we have displeased them and give us good rolls :)
BoW Justin
That Savior should help hopefully.
No thanks.
The dude with fire for hair is pretty annoying, confusing more than helping...
I realize the first batch of videos is already recorded, but in the future make sure you to remember to not spend survival to dodge during your own attacks. You aren't allowed to take survival actions for any reason until your attack action finishes.
Founding stones also do nothing to hit locations that can't be crit. That's part of the reason why the butcher is such a pain to beat.
